We wanted a smooth finish, which is notoriously the most difficult stucco style to get right because every flaw, bump, and seam stands out. John just finished the job last week he it looks amazing...it's 100% seamless, perfect smooth coat across the whole surface, around the edges, right up to the gutters, around the mouldings....it looks perfect. I love it when a guy comes over and talks me out of doing expensive work . He offered a much better solution than plastic paint ("Cool Life" or "Texicote") and explained exactly why. While he was here, he also offered solutions to our old garage that needs to be rebuilt. I never knew you could just rebuild the very top of a structure. I always thought you had to knock the while thing down. He also offered advice on our water drainage from the roof. Then he promised to send me some contacts for people who could do the work if I wanted to, but again told me nothing structural is going on, so we don't have to. He didn't charge a fee. But its my policy that everybody's time is worth money. He refused the amount I was originally going to give him and took a lesser amount. Finally, he said he owns a Dodge Dart!! He was super upfront about what he could do and gave us recommendations even if we didn't move forward with him. He answered ALL of our questions and made us feel very at ease (especially after working with a contractor that was the complete opposite).
