I tried both locations (Riverbank and Salida) a couple months ago, my coworker told me about the Chipotle Lime Shrimp tacos, they are amazing with grilled shrimp, veggies, grilled cheese, and the chipotle sauce... incredible. They are big also and the portion of shrimp is outstanding. Shrimp in every bite. The quesabirria tacos also very delicious with consome. I eat there at least once a week and the consistency of quality and taste has been the same(both locations). The service has always been amazing, very friendly and respectful, the owner also very attentive to the customers as it should be. The ambiance is plenty of outdoor seating and shaded. They accept cash and card, you can call or text your order as well, highly recommend this place. I look forward to going there every week because I know the food will never fail. read more

While I waited the staff surprised me with a complimentary vampiro taco which was amazing. Toasted tortilla with melted cheese, meat, cabbage, red salsa, and avocado sauce. Perfect balance of crunch and freshness. Presentation was beautiful too honestly felt closer to a restaurant style dish than a quick taco stand. Great food and even better hospitality. This place hit the spot, it was SO GOOD! We got a shrimp burrito and quesa birria tacos to share. Both items were delicious. The shrimp burrito was of their own creation and the spices and veggies inside paired very well with the shrimp! Their menu is substantial and they have a lot of different options to choose from. It took a little while to get our food, but to me, that signifies that they make everything fresh. The seating area has picnic tables with umbrellas and benches. There is a little kid size table that had Connect Four and Guess Who to play while you wait. My boys enjoyed that. read more

Saw this spot a few weeks ago amd wondered what it was. Wedged beside a little metal building with an adorable family friendly seating and play area. I was craving quesabirria and unfortunately they were sold out, since It was a very cold drizzly day, I should have expected that. Im thinking it must be good. I explained it was my first visit and offered a complimentary vampiro taco and I added an asada taco as well. Slightly crispy yet soft taco shell and delicious asada. I prefer my tacos plain and was not disappointed. The service was over the top and deserves a definite 5 stars . There is a wonderful chalk board wall to leave your kind thoughts on...a few of the notes contained lil taco drawings and was nice nice to read everyone's messages. I will be back. I love to support small businesses and seen how good the food looked on Instagram but was very disappointed with the service here. Their website says save time and call or text your order so that's what I did. I initially accidentally texted the salida truck but they then redirected me to the riverbank location number so I texted at 8:38 to have my order ready for pick up at 6:50 since it was cinco de mayo I knew they'd most likely be busy. They never confirmed so I sent another follow up text at 11:28 am then they responded confirming that it should be ready by your birthday dinner at 6:50pm. Hence if you didn't catch that it was my birthday. I get there at 6:50 on the dot. They were busy which I figured. My daughter and I stood around patiently waiting for a few mins then no one was coming. I flagged down the gentleman and I told him I have an order pick up for 6:50 for Lisa. He said, "ok it's gonna be a few minutes it's coming up." I said ok and sat down. There were maybe about 6-8 people. Person after person is being called and I am still waiting. Even a gentleman went up and said did you forget my order so he must have been waiting some time too. Then he called me Liz waved me down to come up and said there was a confusion with orders did you order it here and I showed him the text from the number on the truck who confirmed everything. My name was not Liz. I showed him the order and he still seemed confused and said ok it's coming up. 4 more people get called and 7:20 rolls around and I'm so close to just walking out. It's cold outside, my daughter in the car hungry, family at home hungry waiting to celebrate, and to top it off it's my birthday which I informed them of at 8:38 in the morning. Finally 7:31 rolls around and he calls me Liz once again waves me down and apologizes but the damage was already done. I was upset which I'm sure he caught but I wasn't going to be rude and told him this was suppose to be ready and now I'm late to dinner. In his apologies he gave me a can of coke to make things better which I don't know how it would. He gave me 3 limes for 5 tacos and a burrito. You get one small container of consommé which I asked for another one for 5 tacos. He told me to be careful on the lids of the consommé which was already leaking out and I took out the bag but to just get all over my hands. I get home finally and the food is fresh which I'd hope it would be after I sat there for 40 mins. Now for the food the quesabirria tacos were salty but then you're heat with the spicy of the tacos that for my daughter she barely could eat it. Even I thought they had some heat to them I could only eat 1 1/2 and decided to take some tums just for the spice. My husbands burrito was okay but salty and spicy which was expected but it has salsa in it so that made sense and my husband tolerates spicy better. The final nail on the coffin and the happy birthday to me was being sick on the toilet all night to waking up this morning nauseous. I will not be returning maybe the salida truck has better service but not so much here in riverbank. Honestly I should have given 1 star but I know they're new in the area but hope they do better for others based on my experience. read more

This might very be the best food truck in Manteca in my opinion. Been seeing this taco truck for months every time I go to Chick-Fil-A. This place did not disappoint and I am glad I tried this taco truck. The service was amazing. The owner was the only person working the day I went. He was very awesome and polite to me. He had amazing customer service and brought my food hot and ready within minutes. This is my first trying Sinaloa Mexican food.. I ordered the carne asada quesadillas and a Vampiro taco. The food tasted amazing and fresh. The meat was seasoned very good. The food was amazing to the very last bite. The location is very nice area of Manteca. It's right by a gas station, liquor store, Chick-Fil-A, and Target that was walking distance. It's also nearby other restaurants and stores too. Very clean streets and very safe during the day and also at night. This is a taco truck located across the street from Chic Fil A and next to the Shell station in the Dollar Tree/Grocery Outlet parking lot. This is my 2nd time visiting this truck. My first trip was a chicken burrito which was good. This time, I tried both the cilantro lime and battered shrimp tacos. They were both very good! Both tacos had a very generous helping of shrimp and the flavors were great. The staff are nice as well. I've only been twice, but I've really enjoyed both visits and will definitely visit again. First time trying this taco truck today after seeing posts on instagram. We have been trying to find a taco truck we like here in Riverbank for a little over a year now. After today I believe we have finally found one. We ordered a little bit of everything. A couple street tacos, a few vampiro tacos, one of each shrimp taco, and a burrito. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. The quality and flavor of the carne asada and barbacoa was phenomenal. The shrimp was seasoned well and the salsa especially the red salsa was flavorful and spicy. The staff was extremely kind and even offered to give us a chicken vampiro taco to try. Will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Glad to have finally found a great taco truck! read more

The other day, I was heading to work, but I was working until 9:30 and probably wouldn't eat anything decent after that. I didn't want some frozen food from Grocery Outlet or Dollar Tree, so I walked to this truck that's been at the edge of the parking lot for a couple of weeks. Their menu was trendy. I'm never sure that's good or bad. Their prices seemed a little expensive, if the portions weren't big enough. It took a while to order, even though I was the only customer. I decide to try one each of the Chipotle Lime Shrimp Taco and the Battered Shrimp Taco. It also took a while for the food, but that's okay. I'd rather have food that needed to be prepared and cooked rather than have something that's been sitting in a pan all day. Both tacos were good. I'll have to try more items to see if it was a one-time situation. Hopefully, all of their food is good. Too bad they didn't have a table and a couple of chairs, but as it warms up, they'd need an umbrella and more. read more

Taco truck with a unique spin with sauces, toasted cheese and cabbage in what you order. They offer shrimp and birria for an extra two bucks but its rare to see a food truck to offer that. Service and speed is fast and friendly so walk ups are great! They accept cash or card and phone in orders if you order alot of items.
