I sent reference photos and explained the style I was looking for beforehand, but the final tattoo didn't really resemble what I had in mind or what I sent over. The appointment itself felt awkward and pretty unwelcoming. There wasn't much communication about the design or style during the session, and I left feeling unsure about it almost immediately. Considering I paid over $500, I expected a much more collaborative experience and a result that felt more personalized. A little over a year later, I ended up paying another artist to completely cover it with the design I originally wanted in the first place (for the same price). I know every artist has their own process and style, and I'm sure some people have had great experiences, but mine unfortunately wasn't one of them.

I had to fill out a form & bring an ID before seeing her. Initially went in to re-pierce my left lobe because I had believed it closed up years ago because I had a hard time putting in any earring into it & I have a history of sensitive ears. The piercer did her due diligence & checked & turns out it never closed oops LOL but she was so nice & helpful & told me its best to try putting it on from the back instead. She also replaced one earring from my other piercings because i wanted a flatback instead of butterfly for easier cleaning. I brought earrings to put on & she cleaned my piercings & put them on for me. I ended up deciding to get another lobe piercing anyways since I made the drive here! She made sure to double check with me the placement was what I wanted & made sure it was even to my other ear piercings. What I really liked about this place was that they let me bring in my own earrings, I noticed most places don't & require you to buy their own jewelry. Overall I would come back again. She let me ask a bunch of questions & was very thorough with the aftercare instructions. I liked how she threw in a little goodie bag with care solution for my piercings & cute sticker & goodies! I would come back for more piercings once I'm ready !

A close friend recommended Jesus and the Mezink shop, so I decided to take a chance. Man, best decision by far. Jesus was my artist and did an outstanding job of walking me through the process and answering all my questions in full detail while making me feel very comfortable. Yesterday, I had my first session for my first tattoo, and what an amazing experience it was. As soon as you walk into the shop, you are greeted immediately with the best customer service you could ask for. The shop was spotless, and the environment was outstanding. The one thing I loved the most about this experience was that at no point was Jesus pushy or rushed. Instead, he patiently walked me through the sketches and threw out some incredible ideas. Ultimately, we agreed on the piece, and six hours later, I am one happy customer. We still have another six hours in our next session, but I already love the piece. This guy is truly gifted! One of the most humble guys I have met, he is all about the business and providing proper customer service. My piece is not even finished, and I already booked another appointment for my next piece. I normally do not write reviews much, but I wanted to share my positive experience for someone who might have had a similar experience to mine. Consultation- my artist Carlos was amazing what others said could be done he did and got my vision right by putting it all together . He quickly did the draft then the outline he worked on it till I was satisfied with placement . Shop environment -i can't tell you how amazing the whole experience was . From the front desk making it easy for me to check in and offering me water right away. She quickly got my artist and let him know his appointment was there. All trough the process she kept checking in on everyone there and taking pics and engaging with the customers . All the artist got along excellently and everyone would come up to each other when they got there and said their good bye . Amazing friendly environment just what it should be . Cleanliness - as soon as you walk in you can smell how clean the place is. It's not dingy and dark like other places it smells great and well lit up with some great music and movies playing . Tattoo- Carlos is amazing made me feel comfortable and talked me through the process . Don't let his age fool you he gets down with them quills! He checked on me and made sure if I want to stretch or break we would stop . He totally worked with me as my vision grew and was patient . Over all best tattoo experience I've had . Oh my god Lina saved my lips!!…read more My natural lips were so dark and purple. I had previous lip blush done somewhere else and it did not do me any justice. I was so scared to get them done again because they hurt so much the first time and the color wasn't what I asked for. Lina was super nice and listened to all my worries. She reassured me the pain was going to be minimal and the color of my lips won't heal more purple. I asked for a soft natural pink/mauve similar to the middle of my lips. The tattoo process was a lot faster than I expected and she was right I barely felt anything since she numbed me. When she finished I was shocked on how pretty it was I wanted to tear up. The bottom picture is 2 months healed with only lip balm applied!! The color stayed, my lips are neutralized and my color is exactly what I asked for! I don't normally wear lip stick only lip balm and I get compliments all the time! Finally an artist I can trust. Thank you so much!
