I went in recently to get new jewelry for my dahlias. Couple things threw me off. First of all, the set I had bought was way overpriced for its quality ($50 for 2 bars) but I bought it out of desperation so my piercings wouldn't close. Second of all, the store reeked of marijuana. When the piercer came out to show me my jewelry, she wasn't really talking. I told her I specifically needed 14g jewelry since that was what I was pierced with and when she was searching for the jewelry, I noticed that the box had no label and all the jewelry was mixed together. When she handed me the jewelry, I trusted that it was the correct size. I had them in temporarily until I could switch to something better. When it came time to switch, my piercings had shrunk because the jewelry she had given me was too small. I essentially had to "stretch" my piercings due to their lack of organization. For the price point of the jewelry, I feel as if there should be more organization but also this mistake is one that I have seen many other piercing shops prevent. The times I have visited other piercings shops, they have all had their jewelry organized or had a tool to help identify sizes. I entrusted her to be knowledgeable on sizes simply because she is the licensed piercer. Needless to say, I would hope that a professional entrusted with piercing people would be more organized in their services and customer service. read more

I went in to ask about a navel piercing. Girl at the front desk told me to my anatomy would make a navel piercing heal badly if I slouched over, which is fine. Then she told me to do "flutterkicks" and "eat watermelon" and "it's almost summer so you can go outside and not think about eating." She talked for a while about getting rid of "flab" and that I was small so I could "bounce". Basically made many comments about my body that were incredibly unprofessional and rude. I got pierced here due to their Friday the 13th deal on piercings. There were immediately red flags - the lady told my friend you need to be skinny to get a belly piercing, she was shaming us for not upgrading out jewelry, and we were not asked for our ID. We were nervous but decided to proceed since we drove over an hour. My friend's belly piercing ended up being crooked, and they had to re-pierce her which was extremely painful. It wasn't until she complained that they gave her a free piece of jewelry. I got my lip pierced and she was obviously struggling with getting the jewelry in, and even dropped the ball three times. Also, we were asked to put on eye masks, and when we took them off, there was a big camera in our face without our consent. The next day, the jewelry fell out, so I visited a more professional shop in which they told me the bar was too short and didn't allow for swelling, and the quality of it teared the tissue in my lip. This shop even told me it was pierced at an incorrect angle so I have to get it re-pierced anyways. Complete waste of money, will definitely not be returning. read more

Found the cute shop on a yelp search and walked in around 4pm. It's super clean, and our artist was Lev. He scanned our image, and made a small and larger version. He was even able to switch around some letters... My boyfriend and I got matching tattoos and I went first. Two words to the rib cage. When it was time to set up, he was very clean and detailed. Taking time to make sure everything was set up properly and in front of us so we knew it was clean. I felt really comfortable. My boyfriend's turned out beautiful, but my last two letters were thick and not the same as the other text - I don't hate it, but i do wish it was just like the print out.
