Pure Smiles was the only office that was able to accommodate me during the same week, and they were upfront about their costs and time of procedure. Price was reasonable compared to other quotes I got. I was seen within 5 minutes of checking in, and I was impressed with the level of service I received from everyone from the front desk to the orthodontist. The orthodontic assistant was kind. She told me what she was doing at every step of the way. She also gave me a way to signal if I was in pain (which I wasn't - she was gentle!) I hope to not need to see an orthodontist for a while, but I would definitely recommend Pure Smiles to those looking for one.

I learned so much about myself and they were so thorough. Dr. Ip, Shae, and Grace were all such a pleasure. On this visit, I learned that I have a deviated septum and also a tight oral frenulum. These might be why I have breathing problems at night. The team was never pushy with trying to sell me on services or products which I really appreciated. They have such cool technology that really gives me an in depth overview of my oral health. The only thing I would recommend is if they played music in the lobby or something. Our daughter had her pallet expanded and braces. My wife always took her to the appointments, so I didn't experience the office or Dr. Kunik then. The bill isn't cheap. The work is excellent. My daughter's teeth looked great and corrected what generations before her have struggled with. Then it was my turn. I finally listened to my dentist to go get Invisalign. Dr. Kunik is friendly and genteel. He's not just an orthodontist, he's an artist. You can see him envisioning your teeth moving and what has to be done to coax them into place. Then he recites an alpha numeric soup of instructions for the nurse to jot down and he's on his way. The staff is super sweet. I don't worry about who I'm sitting down with because they're all very capable. It's a mellow atmosphere and appears everyone is happy working there. I've never been frustrated by the office. On the contrary, I'm the one that's showed up late because I got the time wrong (twice) and they didn't skip a beat.

Apparently, my mouth guard wasn't in place and while I was left to my own device, I was also suffering away as my gums burned and burned. I wish someone, anyone had just preface - that BURNING is not normal. I was almost in tears by the time I jump out of my seat and nearly ripped off the mouth guard, and whimpering before the tech came to check on me. My bottom gums were all either bleached white or burned. Invisalign is a huge investment - my invoice 7k or over from Swish and I really think that your local dentist could do it for cheaper (the discounts/deal isn't great bc they have such a high mark up), and you probably won't be tortured and left with WHITE GUMS after a simple whitening.

Dr. Nantz's office was able to help me understand and secure my insurance benefits. They explained exactly how it worked. My appointments are painless, quick, safe, and professional. I feel safe at my appointments even in the time of Covid. When I arrive I text to let them know that I am there. They text me back when it's my turn to come up. But the experience has been so horrific that I had to…read more I have been a patient of Dr. Peterson's for a good 10 years and that relationship was based on trust and honesty. I found out through my dental insurance that they were overcharging and they owed me on one procedure over $750 This does not include the other ones They assured me they would write me a check and that has been about 3-4 months ago. Every time I call, they put me on hold, they are rude, they do not care. They just say check is in the mail- lies. I had her do procedures on my partner that were not necessary, I have had two other orthodontists to verify this as well as my treatments. Dr. Peterson personally reached out to me and said she was going to take care of this and it never has been taken care of and there has been no communication. It is very horrible in life when you have severe dental anxiety like I do and you think you found somebody that actually cares about you when in reality they don't. This was a money issue that they did wrong, they overcharged on several procedures, they admitted it, and according to Delta insurance they were breaking the contract and owed me several thousands of dollars, but I was OK with them just refunding the $765 or so that they never refunded me. All the excessive cleanings and laser treatments were overcharged as well, There is so much money they took advantage of. I feel like the negative reviews are very true and if you need long-term care or major dental work, I would advise anybody to seek out somebody more professional and ethical. This establishment does not pride themselves in honesty, But what they do is lie and tell you the check is in the mail and they will straighten it out and that day never comes. This was hurtful for me because I really trusted the doctor but this facility is a joke. They're rude and unethical, do unnecessary procedures, and take your money. At the end of the day, that's all they care about.
