I believed I was having issues with my 06 Prius' battery and reached out to this business. I drove 2 hours and 45 minutes to get here because in my area (central valley) there are not many resources to get repairs on a prius from non dealers. Spoke to Raj on the phone and he let me know of his availability and hours of business so I made the trip to go see them 8/10/24. They pulled, analyzed and gave me a overview of my Prius' battery very quickly and explained my options in a simple to understand manner. Raj and his team are very personable and friendly, albeit they are very busy I saw this first hand as they received many calls and text in reguards to ongoing repairs and or sales inquiries while at the same time working on my car. I multi task at work often and I believe this business does so very well. If you are looking for a repair on your Prius or hybrid car I would 100% recommend this business but please keep in mind like any small business then can get busy at times. I drove my car when done for about 25 minutes around Hollywood and drove straight back home (168miles over the Grapevine) with 0 issues on the return trip. Check engine was one, nice young man rapidly brought over an obd2 port check doodad and addressed it was just an emissions code related to the gas cap. He dealt with me specifically, not my mother or my husband who went with me, which I thought was very respectful. Answered all my questions, very intelligent and gave me additional info on the vehicle's use history. I mean its buyer beware, you can't expect a brand new car from a used lot. Raj is awesome. The guy is just super straightforward; he is honest about his vehicles; and his prices are totally reasonable. This will be the first place I go looking for my next car, and I'd advise anyone else to do so. He is a Prius master, and can even do repairs on them for cheap. He checked one concern of mine for free, and offered to do detailed diagnostics if it would make me feel better while warning me it was very likely nothing and would be a waste of money. Then he gave me a tip to keep track of the concern on my own. Not what you typically hear from a used car salesman. People complain because they get cars that end up with problems. Any used car lot has that risk, it does not mean they are knowingly selling problematic vehicles. Check Carfax (much better than Autocheck) and get an inspection from a good mechanic. I went to a lot of dealers looking for my car; Raj was the last one to be sketchy. He even offered a longer limited warranty as part of our bargaining. Offer cash for the best deal. read more

I bought a car from these guys on my birthday paid 7500 and it test drove fine, everything checked out. On the way home right after paying, check engine/tpms lights comes on. Told the dealer and they bought some parts that were not the main issue and told me there's nothing they can do. Save your money and go somewhere else. They took my families savings on my birthday, 1 month before Christmas, I have kids to buy for and now we have a car that needs over 3k in repairs. Not even 10 minutes after purchase the problems started. I guess these guys also own Best Buy Motors so I'd stay away from that place also. This place scams people, they'll fix up a car that they got for maybe half the price and send it to the shop they're next door to, to give it a sub par repair to make it look good. Went in to look at a car and it drove great, everything worked but little did we know until i took it to MY mechanic that oil was leaking out of the rack and pinion, valve cover and several other places. I got the car for 4,300, and was looking at paying well over 2,000 for repairs. They sure scammed me out of 175 dollars for the cancellation option that they so generously offer. Definitely taking this car back. Plus their 1 month engine/transmission warranty only covers moving parts. So no seals, gaskets, and basically anything that would've stopped this car from leaking everywhere. BUYER BEWARE! This place is a racket. The owner seems to think that stating "I am very honest person" means customers just believe everything they are told. I tried to buy a car here but the constant moving of the goal posts, denying factual statements literally just after saying them as soon as I queried them, faking innocence then protesting honesty in the face of clearly suspect actions all contributed to me losing faith with the business. The final straw was suddenly be told I had to suddenly sign a new document stating I knew the car was rusty or they wouldn't sell, when I queried the document and said, correctly, that I had informed them of the rust not vice versa a lot of shouting happened. The owner's son (?) tried to intervene unnecessarily and soon was shouting. If I disagree with you in a calm voice and you respond telling me not to get angry it's obvious how these people like to 'negotiate'. This attempted sale ended with me being called a "c**t" by the owner and his son as I walked out the door. Avoid!! read more

My experience with Singh Auto was great. I wanted a car for my daughter to use while she interned in LA and looked up a Mercedes on the Singh Auto website. I had very limited time when I landed in LA and Singh senior was kind enough to ask Raj his son to keep the shop open till we reached his shop - which was way beyond their closing time. The car was exactly as advertised. There was no pressure and we were treated very well. Prices were very reasonable and Raj went ahead and fixed some stuff that was required. My situation - low on time, need a car now and it is well beyond closing time - are factors that many dealers will take advantage upon. Mr. Singh and Raj did not do that. The whole transaction was completed in about 25 minutes including the test drive. Overall a good dealership being run by good people with no surprises. read more

I was so disappointed at this place, they were trying to sell me a lemon and I tried negotiating on the price, because that's what I thought was fair for that kind of car. The car was basically falling apart but that was my budget. I knew I could find a way better car for that price if I only looked around more but I had time pressure. Now we discussed the price for like 2h and then finally he (Raj) says I can offer to fix some of the issues on the car, stuff that are obviously his responsibility. They had a 2002 Santa Fe that fit the bill. I spoke with Mr. Singh on the phone and worked out a deal and test drive. I feel like I got a good deal. I ran into a slight issue with the battery a few days later but they took really good care of me and fixed it at no charge. I never felt like I was being pushed into a decision and they were very upfront with any issues the car might have. It was also clear that the car was being sold as is, however they do offer a 30 day warranty. Any time I spoke with either Raj, Danny or Mr. Singh they were respectful, all be it busy.
