I spent nearly 2 months shopping for a Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ. I test drove many. I went to many dealerships. While I never really had a bad experience at any of those dealerships none of them compared to my experience at Cars4U. My salesperson (I'll leave his name out but you'll likely get the same guy) wasn't pushy at all. He knew I was coming (as I had called ahead) and had set the car up front for me to look at. He brought me out the keys and told me to take my time looking it over while he went inside. So I did take my time. Quite a long time actually and he never interrupted me. I went back inside and asked if I could take it for a drive and the owner decided to come with me. The test drive was nonchalant as well. No sales pitches. Just the history on how they got the car and a little bit of manly banter. When we got back to the dealership I asked for a few minutes alone with my wife and they politely agreed. Wife and I discussed the car and decided that if they would take a couple hundred off the price (just to show they wanted our business) then we would buy this one. Well, they did. Just because we asked. And they worked with us readily, no arguments or counter-bargains. Just good, clean dealing. Both our sales person and the owner were very personable and nice to deal with. The owner clearly explained all the paperwork, readily provided the CarFax and took his time with us. The cars on the lot were all exceptional models as well, cream of the crop. All in excellent condition and very clean. My Scion had a few little scuffs and the salesperson wasn't trying to hide them, even pointed them out to me. We take the car in to get it checked out, some odd reason the guy who looks at cars is out for the rest of the week. They say they cant do anything or check the car out or bother to give us a loner car. Really shady car dealership. My girlfriend went to buy the car herself so they took advantage of that. Speakers didn't work, transmission wasn't working properly, tires had patches, oil's needed to be changed. To many problems for a car from these guys. Maybe if a FAMILY member went to buy a car from them they would get a proper working car. They should stop yelpping themselves nice reviews and sell better condition cars." I just bought a Kia Forte from these guys about a week ago. The car is perfect, I couldn't be happier. I usually don't write reviews for businesses, but these guys are exceptional. The cars are in good condition, the staff is friendly and personal, and above all else - they have honesty and integrity. When I bought the car, they agreed to put new tires on it. They keep their word - My car now has brand new tires. They also fixed a headlight for me, even though it wasn't part of the original agreement. When a business goes above and beyond and treats me right, I never forget it. I highly recommend these guys, and I will be coming back the next time I need to buy a car. EDIT: I've had the car for about 8 months now and it's an EXCELLENT car. It's running great, no issues whatsoever. It's very low maintenance. Gets good gas mileage. All I've had to do is change the oil a couple times and top-off the tire pressure, that's literally it. The car is in great shape!! I did have to change the headlight again. The bulb was installed wrong and shattered (it wasn't a mistake by Cars4U, it was the local body shop that they use). This was about 7 months ago. I ended up getting a new bulb and reinstalled it myself, got it to work. No big deal at all. I'm happy that there's no underlying electrical issue, just some dummy at the body shop didn't screw the bulb in properly. There's a joke somewhere in there. The headlight is seriously the biggest thing I've had to worry about on this car! That's a very good sign, I'm extremely satisfied with it, and I haven't forgotten the service that Cars4U gave me. I'll be back. Anyways, I'm going to wrap this up. I really appreciate you guys and I recommend Cars4U to anyone who is looking for a reliable car at a reasonable price. Be careful if you are going to buy a car here! I came here about a week ago after being pre-approved for financing. I fully intended to test drive and make a purchase on the spot. I called and spoke to Nick. When I arrived, he was lying down sleeping on the couch inside. He kept telling me he was drunk & hungover from going out partying the night before. How professional of him. The other guy was answering questions and gave me the key for me to test drive on my own. I turn on the car and was told, "Oh! The check engine light is on but only because we had to change the battery." That makes no sense. If you change a battery, it doesn't have to do with the check engine light, from my understanding. I feel like there was a bigger issue with the car they were keeping from me. I decided I wanted the car and ran the hard pull on my credit. I got conditionally approved and they needed me to get my paystubs. Then, he was putting in Gap insurance which I said I didn't want. He said Capital One REQUIRED IT due to my credit score "to protect themselves." This is almost $1,000. I said no. I go to call Capital One and they told me they never require a customer to purchase Gap insurance and the dealer was flat out lying to me. They can easily tell a lie here with a straight face. I left and went to another dealership & purchased a much nicer car from someone who wasn't hungover and lying to me to make a bigger sale. I'd be cautious purchasing a car here! read more
