This brewery is pretty cool. There is a fantastic vibe with two floor to ceiling glass garage doors opened up to their fenced in patio. The ceilings are really high with rustic exposed beams and they host different events on different nights if the week. Dogs are all allowed so there are several dogs hanging out playing together. There's a kid friendly area, they let you try different beers and all the staff is awesome! I'll come back every time I'm in Yakima! read more

Single Hill is large and friendly, with expansive seating areas inside and out. Shade provided over much of the outside seating. Super dog friendly, with a dog-bag station and small grassy area for dogs to potty. Dogs are allowed in the building as well as in the patio area. Beer was excellent. Food was tasty and reasonably priced from onsite vendor (Unicycle, I believe); husband and I paid under $20 for our lunch. read more

Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Haven't had such GOOD beer in a long time. Tasted six beers and was thoroughly impressed with all of them. Favorite was the barrel aged saison and the Erik the Dank. Zomg...so good! Great atmosphere...indoor/ outdoor seating...dog/kid friendly (lawn space for dogs...corn hole...kiddo corner with toys) Got a nice industrial meets outdoor law vibe! Will be back! A new go-to place when we're in Yakima. Love the farm beers and the Eastside IPA is to die for. The taco truck (5 Salsas) so also top notch and very reasonable. ($2.00 tacos & $3.00 quesadillas! They have a parking lot and outside seating, plus free games like cornhole if you're so inclined. read more

Fabulous beer selection, had an opportunity to check them out at both the Sunnyside Summer Ale Festival and at their taproom in downtown Yakima. Different styles and a few collaborations with other breweries in the area (fun to see the industry working together), all the beers I had the opportunity to try have been excellent. The taproom itself has a great feel to it and with the big and well-shaded outdoor space this will be a fun place to hang out after work / on the weekends with friends and family. Ty and Zach have hit this one out of the park! The location is fantastic (doesn't hurt one bit that its across the parking lot from where I work) the building is beautiful and completely transformed with many fun sections inside and out to chill with a beer. Oh yeah, the beer... It's also very good. Being one who isn't "hop & bitter crazy" I really enjoy the lighter beers like their Cerveza and Work Beer. Check this place out. Hands down the WORST most impersonal customer service in town. Be careful as you may interrupt the employees' personal conversations while you wait to order a tolerable brew. She will let you hear about it! Very sad as the brewers are a great bunch. We've lived here for two years and have tried it several times. Each time we walk away displeased. Had a vegan wrap of some sort. It was ok tasting to the pallet for me but the problem was the hair we found. The owner who was on the grill had a sincere apology and made a second. For the price I think it was steep. However the apparel and beers were great. Left with couple 4 packs of the flagship brews and apparel for the baby and wifey. read more

This place just opened. It has an industrial feel (converted auto garage) and the there was actual beer variety (not just hoppy stuff). Outdoor seating is rad. I'd visit again for sure. read more

Decided to check out Single Hill for an afternoon cold beer and very glad we did. A short walk from our hotel to their taproom made it an easy choice. Great afternoon for a beer an some tacos in their spacious, open and fun environment. We ordered two samplers which the very enthusiastic bartender customized based on our "what do you drink?" discussion. Polished off the sampler and went back for the Schwarzy. Also tried tacos from the taco truck and ribs from the BBQ joint set up in the parking lot. Both very good. Great find. Good beer, great staff, fun vibe and good prices. Fantastic new brewery in downtown Yakima. I make monthly trips to Walla Walla due to my interests in the wine industry. I always make time to stop here coming or going. They use a lot of experimental hop varieties, and it is really interesting to taste their recipes isolating these single hop beers. Same beer recipe, flight of three single hop experimentals. Fascinating to compare the nuances of just the hops. I know of no other brewery practicing this model. Late summer to early fall, this town and this brewery were the capital of the hop world. One visit, there were visitors representing 7 countries and countless states. They were all there for the hop harvest season, and there is no better place to experience experimental hops. read more

Incredible, well balanced beers with the range of flavor profiles. I loved the raspberry sour, the Stout, the hazy IPA, and the barrel-aged saison. Leo was it amazing bartender, and he not only helped us choose five awesome beers, are you also help us find out the rest of our night (including a delicious trip to Crafted restaurant down the street. This place is a must when you visit Yakima! I just hope they distribute to the Portland market eventually! read more
