The hockey theme throughout is fun with retro jerseys from all variety of hockey teams on display. My husband and I are home brewers, so we asked for a tour. Their brewer was kind enough to oblige and take us through their set up. It is truly a mom and pop business making some great brews. Since it was fresh hop time of year, we all enjoyed some of what they had to offer. This was a great stop on our trip.

Now, I'm unclear whether Hop Capitol is the new brewery where previously Yakima Craft Brewing was or if a new name or they are both the same. Sampled their sours and was immediately captivated by their guava sour. Guava, a tropical fruit has a mellow sweet and fragrant taste, balances the sour very well. Took back a growler of that and enjoyed it the next day in the historic 100F weather in Seattle. Great brewery and recommended!
