He text a few weeks later and said he would finally fix the Pergala but he needs $120 get get his truck repaired and out of the shop. He will say anything to get money. Then he has hundreds of excuses for not being able to complete the work. I finally paid $5,000 to another company to fix Mike Riley's mess. Any good reviews are years old. Terrible experience with Mike Riley.

Three of My Trees Needed a Pro. Better Call Sal!…read more A very Large Cedar tree did not make it through the winter. I think it was about 30 feet high. And I had a 20 foot tall Pecan tree that died also. When Sal's crew arrived, they informed me I also had one more dead Pecan tree. The trees were a bit crowded, so when the men finished thinning out, the overall effect was very pleasing to the eye. And the crew ground the stumps down, filled the holes and cleaned everything up. It is hard to tell Sal's crew were ever there bringing down those tall trees and reducing it all to mulch. When the crew found the third dead tree (a Pecan) they quickly estimated a price, but it was over my budget, so I told them "next time". Sal's guy agreed to knock off $200, and get it all done so this job would look great, and the problem was off my list. I was not angling for a discount but it made it worthwhile to squirm for the extra. And I realized they were so right when I saw the finished result looked just beautiful with all the trees attended to. Sal, I am glad your guys can "think of Their Feet". They really stand back and get the big picture when they plan their work. This is my third service from this company. And I could not be happier.

They came out to review the site before quoting the job. The request was sod removal to a depth of…read moreminimum 3", sod removal and leveling an area, and covering everything with commercial grade landscape fabric. I specifically requested the use of a sod cutter and commercial grade landscape fabric. The landscape fabric began ripping and pulling out within hours. Some portions were layered with multiple scraps. They removed dead grass and some dirt with a combination of shovels and a tiller I provided. They did not have the right tools or materials. They assured me they could remove the sod and would also spray the remaining roots so it would not return. I reached out about the poor landscape fabric within 24 hours. 9 days later when boulders were placed it was apparent that in most areas the sod was not removed at all. They did not spray the grass deterrent. When I spoke to them 9 days later they made many excuses for the poor quality of work, and blocked me on their contact number and all accounts. Pictures taken day 1 and day 9 after work was "done." $1700+ for the work and materials...
