The build went smoothly and pool is awesome. Jody was the project manager and was consistently on-site to manage the many contractors from dig to operational. Both Mike and Jody were an awesome tandem who took all of the normal anxiety out of build process. With zero weather delays, the pool was operational in less than 2 mos. My husband and I bought a house back in December and decided that the only thing missing was a swimming pool. We did some research and then started our pool journey with Cody Pools. We met with Collin (the Designer) back in January and told him our ideas. It took about a week and then we met up with him to see what he came up with in terms of design and cost. He was great throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and always answered our questions fairly quickly. My husband kept in contact with him the entire time. In February we met with Ryan (the site supervisor) about the construction of the pool. He was also very knowledgeable and explained what would happen throughout the construction process. My husband also kept in contact with him in case he had any questions. The construction process began in February. We weren't moved into our new home yet so the noise wasn't an issue for us but it's loud. Because we had fairly good Spring Weather the construction process went quickly. We were told that weather could delay the process but we didn't really have issues with the weather at that time. We went to our new home regularly to check on the progress of the pool which moved along quickly. Our pool was completed in mid May about a week before our move in date. So when we moved into our new home we had a completed swimming pool. It's great! We have used it multiple times and love that it was ready in time for the Summer. Overall Cody Pools did a magnificent job. Collin and Ryan were friendly and very helpful throughout the entire process. We had an incredible experience with Cody Pools! They transformed our backyard into a stunning oasis with a custom lagoon-shaped pool that features built-in stools and a gorgeous sun ledge. The sun ledge has a unique golden hue that contrasts beautifully with the deep blue Pebble Tec lining. I think this was a first for this crew to pair two colors, but they delivered like old pros. The result 100% meet our expectations. It looks amazing! From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and well-managed. They were honest and realistic about what to expect in regard to the timeline and intermittent mess there would be in our yard. No mud, not lotus, right? They delivered--no surprises, no stress. The project was completed in about four months, and everything went off without a hitch. Special shoutout to Chris, our designer, who really listened to what we wanted, answered all of our questions, gave great recommendations, and brought our vision to life. Cody Pools built our new pool in Cimarron Hills this spring. They finished about 2 weeks ago. We have paid them in full although they are still not finished. We are missing our column lights, beach chairs and tables, pool controller and app to control the pool. We refused pool school until everything is complete but we have no leverage. They have our money! So frustrating. read more

I wanted to give a shoutout to Travis who was our project manager over resurfacing our pool and making some additions to making our pool not only look amazing but also running smoother. I'm updating my review and bumping it up from 1 to 3 stars. If it was based only on the support I've received from Art this would have been 4 or 5 stars but the reality is that just 3 years after completing my pool and after following all their maintenance instructions I now have a patched pool (with noticeable difference on color) with stained plaster (apparently from grout repairs). Cody pool did repair the cracks that developed all over my pool but claimed it was because the grout and mortar they installed stopped working as expected as it will need to be reapplied and sealed almost every year. I ended up paying a bit less that a thousand dollars out of pocket to get all the repairs completed and my pool is now stained/patched. Maybe some people wouldn't mind but I took obsessive care of my pool and followed Cody's pool recommendations and still had issues. My advice would be for Cody to be clear and honest and add in the documentation that grout and mortar needs to be resealed and replaced annually. Yes it will increase lifetime ownership cost for prospective clients but without those disclosures their warranty is worthless as they can use it as an excuse to deny coverage in the future. read more

I'm satisfied overall with Cody. The only issue with the pool was the plaster and after a fair amount of contact they have arranged to get it corrected. Once the repair is done satisfactorily I'm going to up this to at least 4 stars. Updating to 4 stars. The plaster repair was done very well. Now updated to 5 stars - The booster motor for the cleaner went out around the time of the plaster fix. I didn't think it would be covered under warranty but Cody submitted the claim to Pentair and it'll be covered. Although it took a while, Cody made things 100% right. read more

I reached out to Cody Pools for a quote on a pool and hot tub. I got an email for an Amantha who had zero interest incoming to my home, talking with me or meeting with me Meanwhile the other 3 pool companies in reached out to for quotes came out and did measurements. Amantha had zero interest and was like send some pics of your backyard and I'll send a quote. Btw is costs x amount like I couldn't afford it. Sent her my survey and pics as requested. Surprise surprise. No quote. It seems I've dodge a bullet with this company. If they are this hard to try to get business. Christ what I must be working out them. Meanwhile just went to contract on a $170k jobs with another greatful company. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. ... Set up a consultation with Pool Designer (Ryan C.) who emailed me on 9/24/24 and eventually came out on 10/10/24. After lengthy discussion covering options available from Cody Pools, what we wanted, getting questions answered, and him taking measurements, he said to expect a design to review by 10/16/24. With nothing received as of 11/3/24, I emailed him to get an update. There was no response via email, so I also called and left voicemail, and sent text message asking for update. Still no response to any communication attempt. Attempt to email sales to the Fb posted email on 11/6/24 was also not acknowledged. I called the office on 11/21/24 to request to speak to a manager. She said the Pool Designer was still very much there working (not injured, ill, etc., thankfully), and she would call me back after getting more info. Rather than calling me back, I received another boilerplate email on 11/21/24 like originally received from Ryan C. on 9/24/24 but from another Pool Designer (James C.). I was not happy to have to start all over after the original consultation on 10/10/24, and asked the new Pool Designer why this was needed, and what was done, if anything at all, as far as a design that Ryan C. said he'd get to us by 10/16/24, noting also that Ryan C. had taken measurements. After nudging the Pool Designer a 2nd time on 12/2/24, he replied that the original Pool Designer has a new role and does not have the measurements taken on 10/10/24, so we were going to have to start all over. In a way, I'm thankful that this communication failure presented itself before we got too far into any project, as I do not believe if we proceeded that I would feel comfortable with any issues that could have surfaced during a phase after contracting. For Cody Pools, if someone moves to a new role, do not leave that person's contacts hanging without transferring the project to a new resource. For the Pool Designer, a simple reply to an email, text, or vm letting me know you moved to a new role and someone else would takeover would have been a quick and easy task. read more

The sub-contractors were respectful of the property and neighbours yard, it was a tight squeeze in between the AC units and fence line to get the excavation equipment in. I hope to provide a different perspective and review than most other reviews here. When we decided to build a pool, we got 2 different quotes and decided to go with Cody because of the overall cost estimate and the interaction with our sales and design rep Peter. His design was exactly what we were envisioning. He in fact, recommended a few updates after he came to our house for a design consult which we had not thought about and immediately agreed to. Below is a timeline of our pool construction. TLDR, from start (day of dig) to finish (day of first swim), our timeline was exactly 3 months! Way faster than both us and Cody Pools expected it to be so needless to say, we're pretty happy. Contract signed with Cody Pools - 3/16/22 (Took 7 weeks to get approvals and permits from our HOA and City of Austin) Layout Meeting - 5/9/22 Dig/Start - 5/16/22 First Swim after completion - 8/10/22 That's 12 weeks! Absolutely nuts considering global supply chain issues and how busy every single contractor is out there. But I believe this was made possible by the super/project manager assigned to our pool, Ryan. Our main ask to him and Peter at the beginning of the project was to keep us informed on everything, even if it's bad news. We wanted to hear updates regardless of what was going on and both Ryan and Peter were in constant communication with us through group texts. They're truly the dream team. There were a couple of times when there were a few hiccups with the crew working over the weekend and Ryan was responsive and made sure to get the issues resolved. If you have an option to pick who to work with at Cody, I highly recommend Ryan and Peter. We would gladly work with them again! Cody did the deck for us as well and it looks great. Pool school was fun thanks to the 2 Cody pools crew members who came to our house and they were thorough to explain and teach us everything (we took notes and even recorded videos for future reference). We are a new Cody Pools Georgetown customer and our pool construction was completed in June 2022. I've had to make a few warranty calls into Cody, not to do with construction, but related to equipment (heater, lighting, etc.). None of these issues were major, just simple replacement parts with service calls and everything thus far has been handled great. The purpose of this review is to highlight the individual I recently spoke to at Cody Pools (Abbi) regarding warranty assistance for our Polaris Pool Cleaner. Abbi was an incredible help to us! She was very familiar with our specific situation and provided excellent instructions with how to process our warranty request for the Polaris. Abbi gave awesome instructions over the phone and then immediately followed up with an email containing all critical information needed to submit to the warranty provider (Leslie's Pools). I had Cody pools build my pool and spa 2 yrs ago. It turned out just as designed. I had no problem recommending my neighbors use them for their install. I have never been more mortified! It is going on 7 months for them with no end date! They have had problems after problems with Cody pools. One of the given the reason, that because of the quarantine everyone is building pools. This should not be their problem if Cody pools over extended themselves. My side yard has been destroyed by Cody also. I will NEVER recommend Cody Pools again. read more
