The people who own this place are extremely rude, talk down to their customers & misadvertise offerings on their website. We ordered one of their "oops" bottles as a joke gift and when we received it, the engraving was completely off of what was displayed online. When we contacted the place about the clear mistake, they dismissed it and just highlighted a disclaimer that it could be different. While we knew it was a mess up (why we bought it) and understood it could vary slightly, what we got wasn't even close to the message & is now useless. I highly recommend avoiding them. read more

And their prices and care for their customers is whats keeping me as a returning customer I not only bought one engraved wine bottle...I bought 3! You just pick out your wine or liquor bottle and they engrave for FREE! Yes FREE!!!!!! Unlimited words! I'm taking a wine appreciation class and needed to purchase some wines. They use a service and wanted $175 plus tax and shipping for their recommended wines. I wanted to support our local community so I went into sip and say. I was greeted by a woman who was busy taking care of counter full of engraved bottles. This service that they offer is awesome. The bottles are beautiful and make a fantastic keepsake. I told her why I was there and Adam heard and stepped in. Adam is a sommelier and happens to be incredibly nice as well. I handed him my list and he went to work. He found the wines I needed for less money and even gave me a discount. That is fantastic customer service. Their selection is great and everyone is extremely helpful. So glad to have them in the neighborhood. read more

Don't know who gave you the "best rating" but it's no one who visited the store, that's for sure. I was so offput by Adam's unwelcoming "couldn't care less about the customer" attitude, who didn't even carry basic liquors and knew even less, saying untruths like "No one's drinking that anymore" (because he didn't have Savory & James, which I, as a chef, use all the time in my cooking!). Better get someone else as a salesperson who actually appreciates and knows the value of good customers. Good customers bring other customers, buddy, especially a chef who has tons of connections who will continually use one store for its wines and liquores. I even inquired if this was the correct place the Chabad of Merrick gets its wines for their special holiday events because that's the reason I came there. No supply and no bargains. read more

Store has a TON of great options. You won't find a lot of "big brand" wines, if any. The owner Adam is a trained sommelier, and will often recommend something similar in flavor profile to the wine you're looking for, with better quality and probably a better price point too. If wine isn't your thing they also stock your regular big brands of liquor in addition to small batch craft liquor as well the store is very clean and bright and there's plenty of room check out the tasting events and try something new! read more

This is the worst place! Never will I ever go back! The owner adam was so rude...when I asked for my very expensive wine to be wrapped nicely he gave me a hard time. When I went to pick it up he charged me $15 to through in a cheap basket with out any tissue paper stick crumpled plastic and taped it up so hap hazardly that my two year old niece could have done better! I discovered Sip & Say yesterday when it was suggested on a Facebook group I belong to. I have never been to the location but I was looking for a place that offers delivery, as we are in the middle of the covid-19 quarantine. I placed my order online. The site was easy to navigate and they even offered 15% off if you buy 6 or more bottles. After I placed my order it was at my doorstep in a little over an hour! The woman who delivered it had a mask and gloves on and everything was packaged safely. And did I mention delivery was free?!
