Terrible place! I am never coming here again! I stopped by because it is the closest print shop to my apartment and is on the way to work. Seems like a great idea since I have some items I need to print for a presentation this morning. I checked their hours the night prior and saw they open early (7 am) so it seems reasonable that when I swing by a little past 8 that they would be open. Not so. There was a sticky note on the front door "be back 1 min." So I waited. 10 min. The actual printing aspect was just fine. Average prices and ability to print color or b&w. Just don't expect good customer service. read more

Far better service than I ever had at a UPS store or FedEx office. I enjoy the sense of community you get here, and it is where I bought my Greenwood sticker! They let me use the computer for free to print something off, and then just charged for printing. Employees were intelligent and caring. The owner also traveled to my home for notary services when I was injured and on bed rest. Very courteous and professional. May not have facilities for complex print jobs, but for basic office stuff and shipping, I appreciate this Greenwood business. read more

Package theft has become a real problem on my block and after having a few items stolen off my doorstep, I decided to fork over the cash for a mailbox here. So glad I did! So you're walking around; it's a neighborhood you haven't been to before; it's relatively early in the morning, say maybe 9am or so, and you foggily realize you need coffee and just a place to sit for a bit, and you look to your left and lo and behold, a sign that says "espresso," and some yellow wire-work chairs inside against the window which promise both. So you pull the door open, approach the counter-like seating against the window to lay down your book, your phone and its corresponding charger and one of the masked baristas asks you, in a kind of insinuating way, what they can get you - that you need to purchase something first before sitting down to inhabit a spot, which seems pretty unnecessary, since I can't think of anyone believing it would be acceptable to just plant one's self in a coffee shop WITHOUT ordering something in order to justify taking up a seat. But okay: we'll let that slide; perhaps it's happened in the past where someone just came in and sat down and not ordered anything... So the coffee's fine - nothing to get excited about, but nothing to complain about either. In a little bit you realize that you need to use the bathroom, so you get up and see a hallway that leads to the back of the store and there is clearly an all-inclusive-gender sign denoting a public restroom at the end of the hall, so you quickly proceed. But wait! You are rudely stopped by another masked millennial and firmly chastised for being in that area of the shop, even though there are no signs, WHATSOEVER, at the beginning of the hall warning patrons that it is a private area(!!!), whereas you apologize and calmly explain that you saw no signs prohibiting entry. NOT good customer service there, Sip and Ship, not at all. You gotta realize that if you're purporting yourself as a coffee shop, regardless of the other half of the business housed within your walls, you should probably provide a restroom, because your customers will expect it; it's common practice in the coffee shop biz. And if you don't want someone wandering down a hallway that has a clearly marked restroom door at the end of it, you should do both these things to avoid confrontations: A: Put up a clear sign that says something to the effect of "Staff Only Beyond This Point" and B: Remove an obvious typically-recognized-as-public restroom sign from the staff-only restroom door. It's common sense, yes? And also: When someone suggests this to you during said encounter (and reasonably so, calmly so - like a reasonable adult would), do not snidely mutter that "you'll take it into consideration." read more

The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and always willing to go above and beyond. Plus, I love looking (and sometimes purchasing) the cute items in the store and getting a coffee on my way out. I needed to return some packages to Amazon and took a walk to Sip & Ship. These packages needed a special label printed out, but I thought nothing of it, since this place ships packages every day. They weren't able to print out my label so I had to go to a UPS store much farther away. Seems like I was the first person to go there, trying to return an Amazon package. I had also intended to buy some coffee, but decided not to since I wasn't thrilled with the service. I felt like they tell me they're able to make any drink, except the one I want. Since Sip & Ship moved within two blocks of my home, it's been a while since I used the Post Office ten blocks away. They are fast, friendly and convenient. However, I must not have been paying attention, because I didn't realize how expensive they really are. This week I mailed a calendar to New York----I was a little surprised to hear my cheapest option was over $17. For a calendar? It weighed about 4 ounces, max. It was an odd size, and the destination was, apparently, kind of out of the way. Well, they are on the fringe of New York city, but it's not like they're rural. A bit shocked, I sent it, with misgivings. I just thought maybe the price of postage has been going up along with everything else. Days later I needed to mail a smallish, (approx. 8" x 11") but heavy package, over 5 pounds. My "best option", according to Sip & Ship, was $29+. That's Fed Ex, 8 days delivery. I sent it. They do offer $100 insurance coverage, free. A nice detail. When I got home I had a package waiting for me, an approximately 12" x 13" x 3" Priority Mail box. My gift would have fit and had room to slide. That box has a flat rate, $13.45, for any weight up to 70 pounds, and TWO DAY delivery. How did I ever forget about Priority Mail? Well, Sip & Ship had no reason to tell me that their best rate was over twice what the Post Office would charge. Lesson learned. If I have a return to drop off, I'll take it to Sip & Ship. Otherwise I'm back at the Post Office. read more

I love Sip and Ship! Their staff was super flexible and accommodating with all the big boxes I received while helping family move across the country. They're also handy with boxing up those hard-to-pack items and they'll give you options for the cheapest or fastest way to ship it. Only thing that's difficult is parking. You're on your own with street parking, and it can be tricky in the late afternoons. read more

I mailed out 25 Xmas cards going to only local addresses (one two blocks from the Sip and Ship) on the 18th around 5pm. As of the 26th only a handful of people received their cards. Mailed out 40 cards on the 19th. Dropped those off at the postbox in front of the Greenwood post office, pick up was at 3pm. Almost all those cards arrived by Xmas Eve. Even to Spokane, Wenatchee and Arizona! Last year I was told by someone at Sip and Ship my cards (100) would need double the postage so I spend a fortune on stamps. Ends up I only needed one stamp per card! Learned this from someone else at the Sip and Ship while sending out the the last of my cards! Management changed before I could get a refund or some sort of resolution and then I was told it was too late for them to rectify their mistake. I'm only four blocks from this location and saddened/annoyed that I have had such a negative experience two years in a row. The staff at the Greenwood post office is so nice and knowledgeable and apparently their delivery methods are much faster. Sip and Ship is more convenient but in my experience the staff is misinformed and slow. This has cost me more money and stress. I called a few days ago to inquire about my cards. I was told a manager would call back. I have yet to hear from anyone. Guess I'll walk the extra couple of blocks to the post office from here on out. I will end on a positive. They have a nice gift shop. Since Metropolis closed this is the closest stop for cute gifts in a pinch. read more

Plus it is so much more pleasant than going to USPS. The lines are for the most part inexistant and the staff is very friendly. Their store was broken into and my package was stolen. Instead of compensating me for my loss, the owner or manager Diana told me that I need to wait for their insurance, which she said could take a long time. This is wrong, it's the business' responsibility to compensate me for my loss, and then the insurance company compensates them for their loss. I'm taking my claim to the better business bureau. Also, it takes forever to get any kind of service when you call or visit the store. read more

I like to support local business as much as I can. And I must say that when it comes to customer service, this place is usually top notch, but the fact that they charge 11 cents per stamp over what the post office charges, is flat out ridiculous!! Why would I pay you 11 cents more to mail something that the post office will do for a lesser cost? I re-shipped the same package, having added a PO Box number, and the cost at the Post Office was $43.05. I previously have been surprised by what they charged for packing materials. Do not go here for notary. They charge you for the notary AND for every signature including witnesses. Went in to have 4 documents notarized- didn't even think to ask how much before doing it because I know standard notary fees- and they finished up and said that will be $160. YES. $160!
