My friends and I went to make a purchase and were denied due to one person in the car not having their ID on them, even though the Texas TABC regulations state that only the buyer needs to produce a valid government ID. Not wanting to make it a big deal, I left and came back by myself only to be denied my purchase once again. From the official Texas TABC website: (see photo attached). I am leaving this review to help ensure every employee at Eskimo Hut knows the regulations according to the TABC, and to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else in the future.

When I asked my server when I got the first bill I thought happy hour was going on she said " It might be applied to just our house wines." Then, when I pointed out there was a discrepancy on the menu vs. the first bill I received she looked at it and said " Well that might be because the register automatically just applied that charge to the bill". I ended up paying for the happy hour payment after all. It just seems sketchy she hiked up the price for one glass of wine.

Next was the Bomb City Cosmo, another refreshing cocktail also served in a martini glass. We ordered appetizers and dinner, and everything was great. The menu comes from Toscana Italian restaurant upstairs, and we enjoyed every dish. For appetizers, we had the spinach artichoke dip and pretzel bites--very creamy, and the pretzel bites were warm and delicious. We also tried two salads: the BLT Wedge Salad and the Shaved Brussels Sprout Parmesan Salad. Both were hearty and very filling. We finished with the chocolate pistachio cake, which was a delightful dessert. Happy Hour: Their website advertises $6 liquor Monday through Friday from 5-7 PM. However, the bartender didn't seem to honor it, saying happy hour is upstairs--though that's not what the website states. He did make it right by charging only for two drinks, which equaled the price of the three drinks that should have been on happy hour. Hopefully they begin honoring the posted happy hour pricing.
