Hands down one of the absolute best spots to catch a Colorado sunset! The mountain views as the…read moresun goes down are unmatched. While the food selection focuses mostly on small bites and appetizers bite-sized perfection! But the real star of the show? The desserts. Absolutely delicious and easily some of the best I've ever had! Top it off with exceptional, attentive service, and you have an unforgettable evening. This place is a total MUST if you are in Denver--we are definitely coming back!

THE FOOD 01. LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE ($20): cheddar jack, cavatappi, & panko a classic indulgence with a good helping of lobster! 02. WINTER FLATBREAD ($16): whipped brie, roasted apple, kale, dried cranberries, candied pecans, & balsamic maple gastrique a superb combination of ingredients so fresh and flavorful that this vegetarian menu item ended up being our table's favorite! 03. SWEDISH MEATBALLS ($18): lingonberry, gravy, mixed meat a standard savory delight! 04. RACLETTE & HAM BAGUETTE ($20): tomato bisque, cornichons, & whole grain mustard a delicious pairing that never goes wrong! THE VIEW the blinds were raised as soon as the sun started setting so that guests could enjoy the view without any obstruction. as an out-of-state visitor, being able to see all of denver surrounded by mountains and bathed in gold was the highlight of my trip. THE SPACE peaks lounge feels private without feeling standoffish or corporate. it is an intimate setting that seems to offer seating for any type of guest. there are large sofas for friends to sink into, small tables for romantics to lean over, and long tables for families to gather around. THE SERVICE staff were patient and accommodating throughout our stay.

Best find of the year and definitely one of my favorite bars ever going forward. It's in a…read morebasement. Decor is simple yet welcoming and tasteful. The perfect escape from summer heat. Cash only. $5 for all drinks. Don't expect any fancy cocktails. They can still make a juice, soda, liquor concoction with a lime, and voila! You have a cocktail. The crowds are super diverse in age and ethnicity, a rarity I desperately often miss in CO. The music is awesome.. 90's grunge, rnb, hiphop. We bought a stack of playing cards. Also $5 and entertained ourselves for hours. I visited other bars afterwards and had to come back to old faithful for our nightcap. If you're looking for a casual and fun place to hang without breaking the bank, this speakeasy is it!

Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.
