There's a reason this establishment has been around for many years; their pizza is very good whether you choose their square deep dish or their traditional round pizza. Terrible and wont ever order delivery again! Meatball sub is a chopped meatball sub. Literally.. a loose meat sub. Fried mushrooms were all batter and the mushrooms couldn't be found in all the batter. The burger.. GROSS! It was so soaked it couldn't even be held to be eaten. When I called to talk about it.. I was told well.. that's how we do it. And when I asked why the menu didn't say chopped meatball subs, the Manager Ryan scoffed at me and had nothing to say except this is how they've done for 40 years and it works. Careful!!!! They charge a Credit or Debit card fee to cover a cost of doing business. They don't reveal the charge until the bill is presented! Lost my business here....Thank God for locals who do not try to charge unnecessary fees. Asked the waitress for clarification. Her reply " any card debit or credit we charge the fee". Got a Val-pack coupon offering 16 pieces of breasted Chicken, fries, breadsticks and cole slaw for $23. Seemed like a good deal so we decided to give it a try, especially since the nearby Chicken Shack has been inconsistent. I walked in and the place is run down and smells of rancid fried food - not a good sign. (There are signs up that they are moving to a new location in the same building, so they will likely fix all that soon.) They give you a lot of food for the money - the chicken pieces were good sized, it was a decent portion of fries, a half dozen pizza joint style breadsticks. Nothing remarkable about the meal at all. The breading on the chicken is boring and bland and much greasier than any other breasted chicken I've ever had. The fries were slab style and ranged from soggy to burnt with cardboard as the median. On the positive side, there was no sign of the rancid aroma I smelled in the restaurant. The ultimate driver for the two star review? Even though I've had disappointing meals from Chicken Shack recently, my worst meal there still tops this in flavor. read more

SIR Pizza is a Rochester institution. It's a small place that's been around forever, and thusly makes a pretty decent pizza. What was great about SIR was that they delivered late, and to anywhere in Rochester. It's just too much of a pain to do pick up in that town. As far as prices go, they're middle of the road. It isn't Little Caesar's, and it isn't Pizza Papalis either. Expect about $10 for a decent pizza here. I'd honestly recommend them over Tower simply because I've had SIR more, and know their pizza is consistently good. I can't say the same for Tower because I haven't had it as much. read more

I like this place. They provide pizza for RJ's pub (a bar reminiscent of my love for dives in Flint) and I have always been happy with pizza from here.
