I would first like to give acknowledgment to the employee (possibly owner I'm not sure) Kylie. I emailed the business as I am looking for someone to make my birthday cake. Kylie responded IMMEDIATELY, quite literally within 10 minutes of my initial email. She called, and set up a tasting appointment with me. The day of the appointment (yesterday) she called ahead to let me know that the air in the building was acting funky but, she was looking forward to seeing me. The amazing personality that I spoke with over the phone was the same personality that I received in person...I LOVE an infectious spirit and she has just that! The cakes displayed are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and whats even better is that the taste was amazing as well. She/they had my sample box ready and while I was there I decided to purchase additional cupcakes as well. The cakes itself are very moist and flavorful, but not too sweet. My top favorite were the cookie dough and the amaretto raspberry. The raspberry filling has the perfect balance of sweetness, but a slight tart (like a hint of acidity). My boys loved the mudslide as it is a chocolate lovers DREAM and the French toast. My plan was to try 3 different businesses however the Divas have given me exactly what I was looking for. Today, I just needed a little pick-me-up. With so much going on and so many changes happening at once, I found myself downtown checking things off my list when--surprise!--I spotted this adorable cupcake shop. Naturally, I had to step inside. I was excited to try their new White Chocolate Lemon flavor, and of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing something for my hubby, so I picked up the Lemon Cheesecake for him. Let me start with my White Chocolate Lemon. Wow. What a perfect blend of sweet and tangy. It's creamy, fresh, and beautifully balanced--none of that artificial or imitation taste you sometimes get elsewhere. The cake itself was moist and soft, not dry in the slightest. You can really tell they use fresh ingredients and real juices. It was honestly such a delight. The shop itself is just as charming as the cupcakes. Each cake from them has brought guest compliments on look and taste. For my birthday, the champagne berry flavor with vanilla buttercream was a big hit. So I ordered it again for my parent's anniversary cake, along with the amaretto raspberry flavor on a tier, and lemon on another. Again the champagne berry had rave reviews, as did the lemon. The amaretto-raspberry had some negative reviews of being too heavy on the almond flavor so I would not recommend that one without tasting first to ensure you like it. They do offer cake tasting in house as well as very convenient to-go sample boxes. read more

I am revisited my review as the party was yesterday. The cake was Oreo cookie flavor - it was extremely dry and we asked for filling and there was none. The cake came out exactly as I envisioned it but I was extremely disappointed to see that the cakes were on the counter with the box open. Due to COVID we should be mindful that all food must be sealed. These bakeries have to raise their standards especially for the amount of money I paid for this cake it should have at least been in a plastic container even if they had to up charge me $5 I would have paid it to be secure with my purchase. First of all these cupcakes are super expensive. I paid over $80 for two dozen. Which is fine, if they are amazing. I purchased vanilla and chocolate. The cake part of the chocolate cupcake was very good. The vanilla was meh' and I think Publix makes a better vanilla base. The frosting for both was not very flavorful, too light in texture for a cupcake and I would have preferred the store bought in this case. The packaging was reminiscent of something from Costco and not attractive. I was very disappointed and will not return. I have visited many cupcake shops around town and although I may not have favorited them all, most of them had something stand out about them that made them worth being a stand alone cupcake shop. If you are looking for cupcakes for a party and have not tried these yet, don't assume they are awesome. Please come buy one first and see if it pleases you first.
