My wife and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon and we can't wait to go back! We booked the Crete room which is one of the studio suites. It's self contained with a full bathroom, a mini fridge and microwave, and a fireplace. It was a very spacious room with a private balcony that offered stunning panoramic vineyard views. The resort is themed like somewhere you'd find in Greece and it really feels like you're far away from home. They were so nice as well with any issues we had. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for our honeymoon! There's a tasting room nearby where you can sample their wines or purchase bottles, snacks, gifts, etc. Guests get a complimentary glass of wine for staying with them. The resort isn't very far from downtown Paso Robles, only a short 10 minute drive. They don't have a restaurant on site but you can get breakfast just make sure to let them know ahead of time, at least the previous evening before 7pm. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary or just a random trip to Paso! read more

This is not your commercialized, common run of the mill winery resort. If you are looking for a unique boutique winery away from all the noise and crowds, this is it and more! Sirena is a thoughtfully secluded countryside retreat with hints of the Greek isles all around. Alicia and Ruby were our wonderful hostesses. We arrived and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine which we enjoyed on their breezy outdoor patio looking out at the gorgeous countryside views. There was also a lovely common courtyard outside our bungalow where you could also sip and enjoy a comforting fire pit. Our bungalow was very cozy, spacious, clean and had a private balcony which also took in the peaceful views. We are always critical of the mattress wherever we stay as it can make a huge difference in your sleep and comfort. Their foam mattresses were just divine! Not a springy, uncomfortable or mediocre mattress which most accommodations can be even when they are classified as 'high end'. They do not have a restaurant on site so we ate dinner elsewhere. However, they have the option of breakfast made to order. We decided to try it. It was a fresh and delicious serving of veggie omelette, toast, country potatoes and a generous serving of a parfait with fresh berries. I believe they were almost fully occupied when we were there but it did not feel crowded at all. We met another couple who were staying in the casita part of the resort uphill. The casita views were even better. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. There was also a common full kitchen and dining area and an indoor common wading pool as you enter the casita. We enjoyed wine tasting at Sirena's lovely tasting room and of course brought home one of their signature wines. They also have tequila! This place is such a hidden gem. It looked like we were looking out at a Tuscan countryside and the photos we took at the resort look like we were on the Greek isles! Plenty of photo opps all around. Sirena Vineyard Resort & Winery is a hotel, restaurant, and winery located near Paso Robles. It's Mediterranean-inspired and looks very similar to Greece with the white and blue vibe. They have a couple hotel rooms next to the tasting room as well as two suites with private pools. We originally wanted to book the suite but they required a phone call and were already booked. We were told it's recommended to book at least a month in advance and starts at a minimum of ~$500-600 a night. We reserved their mixed tasting ($40) online which consisted of seven different wines. Note that they only make two white wines and that their mixed tasting only consists of one white if you're predominantly a white wine drinker. Of the wines we tasted I enjoyed the chardonnay, zinfandel, and syrah. We sat outside sipping our wine while enjoying the views of the vineyards. We came to Sirena Vineyard because we loved the Greece-inspired vibe and, it was even better in person. The space is so peaceful and beautiful it felt like a little escape. The wine tasting itself was great, and Alysia was amazing. She explained everything in a way that was easy to follow and never rushed us. She was super friendly and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. We ended up buying a bottle of the 2019 Cuvée de EDV, which we loved and couldn't stop thinking about after tasting it. Overall, such a calm, lovely experience. Gorgeous resort. The room we stayed in was absolutely a 10/10. We never wanted to leave!!We stayed in the Club Villa with a perfectly heated private pool on the balcony. Everything was so clean and taken care of, so many great details throughout the room. Close to downtown Paso and many wonderful wineries. We were greeted with a glass and friendly service, but throughout our stay we felt like the only ones there. The tasting room which serves as check in closed unexpectedly early one night at 4pm without any alert. Because there wasnt a lobby, it felt like if we had a problem, there wouldnt have been anyone to assist. More communication on "after hours" issues should be outlined. That being said, we would definitely come back. No food, but you can request breakfast. Just make sure to ask what's on the menu as it seems to change. read more

Found this place from an Instagram reel, and my sister and I had been intrigued to check it out. It was not quite what we were expecting from what we had seen though. It is a beautiful country road to drive with stellar views of the vines. I think it would be a cool place to stay with a group of people, we found a fire pit behind the tasting room and near the rooms which would be a lovely evening sipping wine with your friends around a fire. It was a small premises to adventure and look around. There was another building further up the hill and I assume that would be where room check-in is and maybe the pool. We came for a tasting on Sunday, and it was really quiet, we were the only ones for a while. They offered a red and a mixed tasting. We all really enjoyed the sparkling wine, it was sweeter. And I purchased 2 bottles of the Tempranillo, it was really smooth. Those were the only two wines I had really liked here. We had picnic supplies and were able to build our own charcuterie to snack on which was nice. read more

I stayed in the Santorini Room (#3) at Sirena Resort for my wife's birthday, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to ongoing noise issues that made it hard to relax. The room didn't seem well soundproofed, and I could clearly hear noise from nearby areas and other guests, especially in the evenings and early mornings. For a resort setting, I was really hoping for a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, but it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. The property itself has a lot of charm, and the location is great, but the noise level really took away from the overall experience--especially given that we were celebrating a special occasion. If you're sensitive to sound or looking for a tranquil stay, I'd recommend asking about room placement and potential noise before booking--especially if you're considering the Santorini Room (#3). I hope management looks into improving soundproofing or addressing noise concerns, as it would make a big difference for future guests. read more

Beautiful scenery, but that's about it. Came for a birthday wine tasting and the experience was disappointing. Our server, Ruby, was rude from the start--made us feel uncomfortable for taking photos out front even though no one was around. She started out saying "do you guys mind? We have guest coming in" we are guest... first of all especially with that price. Each wine pour felt short, and there was about a 20-minute wait between pours. The $40 tasting is paid upfront, and the service reflected that. Very little explanation of the wines, no offer of the fire pit or food, and the charcuterie boards looked like pre-packaged grocery store boards sitting in plastic in a fridge--not worth the price. They seemed understaffed, but other wineries in Paso Robles offer far better service and value. Come for the views, but don't expect a great tasting experience. They wines tasted bad, they only offer one white wine along with 5 red for the "mixed". One last I would add the bathrooms.... Say goodbye to warm water with that broken handle. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience was disappointing enough that I feel it should be shared. Our group made a reservation expecting a wine tasting experience that included some level of customer service and wine education. Instead, the server simply dropped off bottles at our table without explaining what each wine was, its characteristics, or any tasting notes. We ended up having someone from our own party pour and serve the wines despite being charged a service/gratuity fee (luckily he had some knowledge and skills to know what the wines were about) . It left us wondering what exactly the service charge was for which honestly should be reimbursed. As an avid wine enthusiast who has visited more than 17 wineries, I can honestly say this was one of the most disappointing tasting experiences I've had, especially considering it is located right in our own backyard. While the views were beautiful, the customer service fell far below expectations. What made the experience even more frustrating was the payment situation. When making our reservation, we specifically asked if we could pay with cash since it was a big party. We were told over the phone that cash was accepted and that the bill would simply be provided as one receipt. We agreed and planned accordingly. However, when it came time to pay, an employee whom I believe was named Alicia informed us that cash was not accepted. There were no visible signs indicating the establishment was cashless, and this directly contradicted the information we were given when making the reservation even though cash is a legal form of tender. Additionally, our group was told to quiet down at approximately 2:00 PM on a Friday afternoon while seated outdoors. We were not being disruptive, and the request felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, the overall experience left us feeling as though we were being treated differently than other guests. We observed a nearby table receiving significantly more attentive service, while our group felt largely ignored throughout our visit. Whether intentional or not, the difference in treatment was noticeable and disappointing. After being made to feel unwelcome and disrespected, our group decided to get up and leave rather than continue spending our time and money at an establishment where we did not feel valued as customers. We took our business to another location and had a much more enjoyable experience. The scenery was beautiful, but customer service is just as important as the view. Based on our experience, I would not return, and if a zero-star rating were possible, I would seriously consider giving one. I hope management takes these concerns seriously, addresses the inconsistencies in communication, and works to ensure all guests are treated with the same level of professionalism, respect, and service. read more

ZERO stars if I could. My stay at Sirena Vineyard Resort was an absolute disaster. For the insane price they charge, you'd expect at least basic comfort -- but instead I got one of the worst nights I've ever had in a hotel. They put us in a room with a mattress that squeaked with every tiny movement, and I mean every movement. Sleeping on it was impossible, and within a couple of hours I woke up with painful body aches. The level of "service" was just as disappointing. Nothing about this place matches the price or the hype. I left exhausted, annoyed, and honestly shocked that a resort would let guests sleep on something so uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This place is extremely overpriced and completely overrated. Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews -- my experience was awful, and I wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone. read more

My wife and I were here hosting my mother-in-law and we also met a couple of friends for wine tasting and checking out Paso Robles. We are Sirena wine members of the highest level and enjoyed a FREE night's stay in their pool villas. SO INCREDIBLE !! That's right, FREE night when you buy bottles in a fantastic room with SPECTACULAR views!! What a gem Sirena was for us, gorgeous "Greek Island" vibe, super friendly wine personnel and staff, and the views and surroundings are so peaceful, relaxing and calming after the trek from the L.A. area. And the wine is just delicious and tasty. We always order big and are NEVER disappointed with their reds, white and sparkling varietals. Highly recommended! Even if you only drive through the area once in a while, come check this place out and buy some wine! Become a wine member or just buy some wine and they offer superb free perks in their renovated mansion and we have never had a bad experience there. What a disappointment! Made a reservation back in February for Mother's Day weekend (2.5 months in advance). Received an email 2 days prior to my stay letting me know they had to make some unforeseen repairs to the specific room I booked so they had to cancel my reservation. The email was supposedly sent by the property owner and signed John Whitener. He offered a complimentary stay of booked within 6 months. I have emailed him twice with 0 reply. It was very stressful trying to find a hotel at the last minute on Mother's Day weekend but I get it John, that's not your problem but sending a fake offer is extremely dishonest. Stayed at Sirena for the weekend. Before choosing this location, I thoroughly looked up information about the property and its amenities. I did see very mixed reviews. My experience was great here. Guests get 1 complementary tasting for the stay. The ladies in the tasting room were great. Super friendly and although they were busy, they communicated this very well. I can appreciate a smaller operating business. I forgot to call in the day before for check in instructions but the morning of, I was able to call. I was coming from so cal and arrived earlier than anticipated. I was able to check in early, no problem. Upon check in I was also offered breakfast for $18 the next morning. We declined only because we had plans to dine somewhere but the food looked really tasty when we stopped by the next morning. Many people have left reviews saying that they didn't get the service they wanted from staying here but it is vey clear that there is not housekeeping on your stay daily. This is not a hotel type of stay. I would say staying here is more for a chill couple experience. The rooms are designed in a way for you to enjoy your partner. It is important to note that the tubs are in the bedroom area and the shower does not have a door or curtain. It would not be an ideal stay for a friends. For us, it was perfect and exactly what we were looking for as an anniversary trip. While I mentioned there is no daily housekeeping like you would get at a hotel, the room was very clean and if we needed more towels it was an easy call to the ladies in the tasting room. The views were amazing. The room we stayed in did not have a private patio or pool but it had a common patio area. It was quiet and pleasant. The only complaint that I have is that the description when booking states there is a television. The room did not have its own television. The television is in the common kitchen and dining area. It was not a big deal but this should be known when booking. So do not expect there to be a tv in your room. Also there are lots of lizzards, spiders and bugs outside. If that bothers you, I would not stay here but it's up in the hills of a vineyard, wild life is expected. It wasn't a big deal to us because we knew that. And again, the inside of the rooms and common areas were clean. Also I'm pretty sure when I booked the image was a rustic looking room so I expected that but my assumption is that they have finished renovating the rooms. I really want to like this resort and give it another shot but there were some things that really bothered me about it. I called here 1-2 months in advance asking for a renovated room from someone named Jake. Jake and I had many conversations regarding this room and once we got there they told us we were not staying in the renovated room. One of the girls (I think her name is Ruby) showed us to the room but I did not like the old style look and there was a spider . She said there's another option in the renovated side but it's small, and boy was it small. I appreciate her accommodating us to a renovated room and I said okay to that room because it was renovated and she was nice enough to accommodate us but I was upset to learn that there was a couple staying there who told us that they actually booked there (really nice upgraded renovated room the night before!!) This is what really upset me. I had been speaking to Jake about this more than a month in advance and someone got the renovated room just 1 day in advance. It made me feel not heard. Another thing was, roaches. There were dead roaches in the shower! I was extremely upset by this. I really want to give this place another shot but I don't know, I am not happy with the room situation and don't know if I can trust them again. Ruby did provide us with a free bottle but I don't think that makes up for the situation we were in. I'm giving this place a 3 star because the servers were amazing (2 sisters) and ruby and her sister were really really nice, brought up a charger for us also and the view was epic. We love Paso Robles and have stayed so many airbnbs and the hotels, Sirena Vineyard Resort turns out to be the best. The newly renovated place is very stylish, clean and comfortable, we loved the breathtaking vineyard view from the top of the hills. The tasting room was welcoming and relaxing; service was excellent: Stephanie was very warm, kind and patient, she accompanied us to our room and showed us the property. Friendly Athena served us with their great wine and shared her knowledge about different grapes. Our breakfast was so delicious, the kitchen staff was really accommodating to our special food requirements. We also met their manager Jennifer, she was preparing a surprise party for the next guests. If all you need is a GORGEOUS B&B then this place is 5 stars! If, however, you want many of the amenities they advertise...then this may not be the place for you. We recently stayed for two nights and were blown away by how beautiful it is there. Stunning views and sunsets, lovely white and blue Greek vibes. Surrounded by tranquil vineyards and soaring condors above you. However, we felt misled by the website, images on Google reviews, their instagram, and the hotels.com description into thinking we were getting a lot more than what we actually got. We stayed in one of the five Santorini Suites, but per hotels.com this one was of just two rooms. We thought we were actually booking one of the Sirena rooms, which have in-room soaking tubs and private dipping pools. Huge let down upon arrival, but ill chalk that up to my mistake. The suite itself was lovely, had AC and a fireplace, and a peaceful view of the vineyard. It felt very private. Our Complaints: - The pillows on the bed were overstuffed and killed our necks. - Absolute lowest quality toilet paper that hurt to use. I had to go buy a better roll at the store! - in-room coffee pot and creamer BUT no coffee grounds provided to make coffee - Screen door was ripped - Ants in room - No tub even though says "full bath" and "bathtub" on room description - No EV charger on site despite being advertised. - Pool was not filled - Hot tub was cold and dirty - No dinner or lunch on-site options despite advertising 2 "restaurants" - No bars, just a single tasting room that closes at 5pm. - Misled to think the villa is the same as the suites - Gorgeous outdoor patio with fireplaces and views for everyone to use closed until further notice? - Apparently not all 5 Santorini suites are white/blue themed yet. Some are still southwest. I was in the first one (Hopi) and it was Greek but be warned! - No extra lock on door. The doors are code entry which means anyone with the code can come right on in! Daily breakfast is $15/person and SO delicious. It is custom made, no buffet or menu, and the cook comes out to make sure you love it all. read more

This resort is very much giving "ran out of money". We stayed in the villa, which is beautiful and has SUCH potential but really is bare bones. The grounds themselves are very poorly maintained. The vibe is that this once may have been a very nice place but no longer is. There is dead foliage, bushes falling over, weeds, etc etc. I don't believe anyone is maintaining the vineyards as they do not look pruned and the weeds are overgrown. The outdoor pool is filled with muddy water and judging by past reviews it has been this way for some time. We did not bother even going to the tasting room or restaurant. The sheer lack of attention this property gets was very off putting and did not make me want to explore further. One positive- The views from the villa are incredible, as they overlook other properties which ARE impeccably maintained. read more

Had an amazing time at Sirena; it was a last minute plan and cannot emphasize on how accommodative the staff of Sirena were to ensure our special occasion trip was made comfortable. Kudos to Jennifer who kept in contact constantly until we checked in (since it was very late in the night) and ensured everything was set for us. I made a reservation for a staycation in this resort. I made the reservation through their website. I waited to receive an email and never got one. So I called that day and it was after hours, then I called again the next day to be told the reservation wasn't confirmed, when I try making a reservation again they said that room is booked. It clearly was a system glitch. It's ok, I made plans somewhere else. Then came the day I wanted to be there a very lovely receptionist called me to ask my ETA, I was confused and explained what happened and she said she will have her manager call me. Then the manager called, this man was externally rude and unprofessional. He kept asking me who I talked who said my reservation wasn't there and a condescending way explained the room wasn't able to be rebooked because it was me who booked it. I told him I never received the confirmation email and he told me it was send twice... where sir? Then he was extremely aggravated and said he will refund and hung up on me. I called back to let him know about his unprofessional behavior and he said "i have attend to my guests, I didn't hang up on you" I really wanted to experience this place and rebook it for another time but with this nasty man running this spot I don't think I want to come in. Me and my friends love this winery, the place is very very pretty, you can enjoy the whole backyard with out any extra cost, the staff was very nice, and we the big surprise is that they also have a tequila tasting besides their good wine tasting. We love it. read more

What an incredible hidden gem! Like a little slice of the Mediterranean in the middle of the central coast. The rooms are immaculate and the wine incredible. I can't say enough about the service. Every single person who works there took the best care of us. Can't wait to go back! read more
