We returned to Steak and Ale, to celebrate a birthday, and we hadn't been there for awhile. We…read morewere welcomed promptly by great service, made sure we had comfortable seating, and our waitress was very attentive. There are many different options for seating, and we were glad our waitress was available to help us with the right table to meet our needs. The menu has many choices, including the salad bar as an option for many entrees. The bar menu is also very complete with interesting cocktails. The entire restaurant has a fine dining feel, quiet and upscale. I have traveled a lot, and have not seen a better looking inside venue for a classic place. The food? Many options, the appetizers which are available are various, we chose the onion rings - these are not to be missed. The batter is amazingly crunchy and the taste of these rings is awesome - I haven't seen better fried in a long time. I am thinking many might miss the appetizers since the salad bar is available, but don't miss these onion rings! I almost forgot the brown bread brought out as an appetizer as they prepare your entree - also very tasty. The entrees we selected arrived piping hot, we chose a cut of prime rib, and this looked like it was from a New York steak house. Extremely appealing with au jus available, although the meat was fork tender without it. My Monte Cristo was amazing, I have not had one in quite a while, and the crispy breading on this dish was outstanding! Even my fries were hot and crispy! This was certainly an outstanding dinner, and immensely enjoyed! We were too full for dessert, so we ordered a slice of their famous chocolate cake for dessert, and found frosting and tiny cups of additional toppings in our to-go bag. We will certainly be back to this fine dining spot!

That was an eventful lunch at Clive's! When we were there we had to do CPR on a gentlemen but we…read morewere glad we are CPR certified and were there to help! Right place right time! The response time for this emergency by the employees here was amazing so I'm glad they were on top of it. Let's talk about the food though, it was amazing! Pretzels were soft, beer cheese was strong on beer flavor. Cheese curds were probably the best there. The burger was flavorful and cooked right. The ranch was really good here! The portions are pretty big, we all had leftovers. I liked the different options of sides that come with the entrees. The drinks sounded delicious too but it was a bit too early for me to drink. Dani was an awesome waitress, very attentive and calm even through the emergency. This place gives off small town dive bar when you walk in with the bar side but the other side has plenty of seating options with big booths, it was nice it was separated and depending on what type of mood you are in you can choose to sit wherever. Plenty of parking and easy to get to.

My mother said the chicken fried chicken is the best out there. I had the blackened walleye tacos, great portion with fresh salsa and guacamole. My mom had the club which looked amazing and she loved it. Definitely want to try the country bowl which has chicken fried chicken and tri tip.

My son and I went to Brick and Bourbon this past Saturday for our 12:30 lunch. As we arrived, the…read more hostesses were seating two walk-in tables of 20. And I overheard another patron request a table for 34* (all ball teams). B&B did not show hesitation to accommodate the unexpected groups. Neither Dan, nor his servers looked panicked or even slightly overwhelmed. They were very organized, moved with purpose and showed strong teamwork. From where we were seated, it appeared everybody, ball team and the regular dining customers, got smooth and professional service. I didn't feel that our food/bev times were affected whatsoever by the large groups; and we received our usual personal, attentive treatment (shout out to Calvin) And the truly talented chefs. Plus those fabulous bartenders. Wow! So happy Brick and Bourbon is showing such success and popularity in Apple Valley. If you haven't tried Apple Valley's Brick and Bourbon you should really check it out. Tasty food, tap beers, cocktails, dessert, modern atmosphere, they are the whole package. *Idk if the 34 stayed or left

Came here with a few friends on a Thursday evening and had a wonderful experience. We ordered 2…read moreapps to share, drinks and an entree. We were seated right away upon arrival and service was good and we were well taken care of the whole time. Starting from apps, we ordered the duck bacon wontons, and the brisket poutine. The duck bacon wontons were almost empanada size and were truly tasty. The pomegranate sriracha dipping sauce was the icing on the cake here as it was so sweet and rich and flavorful. The brisket poutine was pretty solid as well. There were definitely some beautiful cheese pulls involved when pullling apart the fry's. I wouldn't have minded a little more gravy, but still this dish was still pretty good. For my beverage I had the You're my boy blue beverage which is a bourbon, agave, blueberry and lemonade drink. It was tasty and the blueberry really stood out. Lastly, for the entree I had the anytime monte which is their take on a Monte Cristo sandwich. I love this thing wit a passion. Delicious French toast bread with fried ham and bacon and cheese inside. I then slathered it in the jalapeño strawberry jam which makes this sandwich complete. I asked for the sandwich with Fries and let me tell you, they know what they're doing with potatoes. Unbelievably crispy, double battered double fried fry's. So good! I think that this restaurant has wonderful staff, wonderful food, and the one thing it's maybe missing is the interior design is a bit dreary. It's just red everywhere, lots of windows and pretty plain furniture. I think if they can add some flare to the design it would really elevate the dining experience. Still, I was very happy with my time here hence a 5/5
