Definitely my go to place before or after picking up a friend from the airport since it's really nearby, loving their specialty cocktail drinks I might've tried all of it before but my favorite is the Paloma Quick late dinner

Poppers off the happy hour menu. $9, apparently only served during the week...

Fantastic service and the food is outstanding. I ate jalapeño poppers. I wish I had ordered a dozen of them! I'll definitely be back on my next trip to MSP

I always enjoy the food at this Hazelwood location. Came with a group and got a few appetizers and the salmon entree. Great service, tasty apps, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The server paid attention to people's special requests and got things out very quickly, including the check and boxes. It was a little loud because of how busy it was, but we could still talk to the people sitting closest to us.

This rating is for their brunch. I'd love to come back for dinner and try some menu items. Came on a Saturday and made reservations. It started getting busy around 10:30-11:00 on a Saturday. Prices are average, service is great. My friends loved their meal, I liked mine. I ordered the prime rib hash and it had great chunks of beef and two perfectly poached eggs. However I felt that it was a little too greasy for me. Thank goodness that I asked for the hollandaise sauce on the side, otherwise with the grease, it would have been way too rich. Some parts of the beef were chewy and some gristle. One friend ordered the strawberry French toast and it was HUGE! They were generous with the whipped cream too. Another friend ordered the roasted vegetable omelette that came with a side of hash browns and toast. They enjoyed it but it was on the smaller size. It's a large restaurant with plenty bar seating and clean restrooms. There's a shared small parking lot with the hotel but there's also a parking ramp too. It's right across the street from the MOA.

I've been to Hazelwood Food and Drink a couple of times, so I already knew the vibe was solid, but this last visit? Yeah... it did what it needed to do. Let's talk about that cranberry walnut salad because WOW. I switched out the blue cheese for feta (because... priorities), added blackened salmon, and baby--when I tell you that combination was working. The sweetness from the cranberries, the crunch from the walnuts, the saltiness from the feta, and that perfectly seasoned salmon on top? Heavenly is not an overstatement. It was giving "I made the right life decisions today." Hazelwood in general just knows how to execute. The space is always clean, a little upscale but still comfortable, and it's one of those places you can pull up to for a casual lunch or a dressed-up dinner and not feel out of place either way. Service has been consistently good every time I've gone--attentive without hovering. If I had to put my Yelp Elite hat on for a second, I will say this: it can get busy, and when it does, the energy shifts from chill to a little more lively than I personally prefer. Not a dealbreaker, just something to note if you're going for a quieter experience. But overall? Reliable, flavorful, and clearly not playing about their menu. Will I be ordering that salad again? Without hesitation.

I come here often for business meals. They tend to be busy so a reservation is recommend. I've tried several items on the menu and have never been disappointed

Stopped here for HH w/ no reservation. Was told upfront that they could seat us (party of 2) but would need the table back at 5. Gave us almost an hour to dine. They have a few HH specials but I always hear good things about the food. I did stick to appetizers, I got the sticky chicken skewers and two chips, two dips. The sticky chicken was good, the chips and dips were simple but good. My friend got the truffle fries which were good. I also tried the blueberry lemon drop martini, which was good. It was pretty busy but service was good enough. the vibes here are very lively! Cute restaurant.

I have been to Hazelwood many times over the years and I have never been disappointed. From breakfast to dinner, their food is amazing. Recently went with a group of colleagues for dinner and had the Short Rib Linguine and it was amazing. Everyone else finished all of their food and we had a great time. Nice server who was knowledgeable on the menu. Whenever I visit Minneapolis for work, this is a place I always enjoy visiting

Kayla took good care of us! We shared a Sausage and Wild Mushroom Pizza, really hit the spot - always can count on Hazelwood! Love the floral accents for a feel good atmosphere.

Hazelwood always has pretty solid food. Today we had a reservation at 1 pm and our table wasn't ready till about 1:20 pm, which I did expect to an extent as it was busy, but when you have a reservation you seem like you may avoid having to wait that long. (We were offered a dessert for the wait but it was brunch and we didn't want dessert after) Another unfortunate thing that happened is that everyone got their food besides one person at their table and it came about 5-10 min later which seemed rude to do. I'd rather we all get our food at the same time as it felt like they forgot about someone at our table. The breakfast burrito was okay, but not something I'd be dying to go back for. The eggs Benedict were solid, and the side of Gouda hash browns was amazing. The French toast was huge, the outside was crispy and the inside was soft. Also pretty solid. The chicken biscuits and gravy were very flavorful, chicken was crispy, the bacon on top was very good. Monkey bread is a fun treat to share.

Decided to grab dinner Thursday evening 12/11/25 close to 5pm after a visit to MOA. We approached the hostess desk to request party of 2. No we didn't have a reservation. One of the employees informed us that "they would need the table in an hour and twenty minutes for a reservation."Really, that's how you want to welcome someone in. Very disappointed! We have been to this location several times and never received a rude greeting. Someone needs more training.

    Cheese pizza

Not a bad place. My coworker suggested it so I tagged along. I'm not one to spend money and personally it's a bit too expensive for me but they had a happy hour menu so I was able to afford it. I ordered their cheese pizza (only $9) from the happy hour menu. I didn't think it would be that big but umm, I was definitely wrong. It was a very nice sized personal pizza. It was a thin crust and I actually ate the entire thing. But in my defense, I only ate a gutted out bagel and some snacks that day so I was HUNGRY. And it was thin crust so......but it was GOOD!! Lots of flavor. And that cheese.....best part! Our server was AMAZING! We had Gabby. Such a sweet person and she came to our table multiple times to make sure we were good. She refilled my water without me even asking. She was on her game! My bill was only $9.81 and usually I think that would be under a $2 tip but I left a $5 which is half my bill cause she was so good. My friend even let a manager know cause she definitely deserves praise. Even tho it's a bit expensive for me I think I would put some money to the side and go back if I'm ever in Minneapolis again. Two thumbs up from me.

    Parmesan Crusted Walleye
    Alexandra A.

My friends and I went to Hazelwood to celebrate a birthday, and it was such a great choice for a fun night out. The atmosphere was lively, and even with a busy crowd, the staff made everything feel smooth and enjoyable. Our server was incredibly kind, and we had multiple team members stop by to refill drinks and check in! I ordered the parmesan-crusted walleye, and it was absolutely amazing. I swapped the side for mashed potatoes, and it made the dish even better. Everyone at the table loved their meals, and Hazelwood definitely knows how to make things feel special. To top it all off, my friend got a free sundae for her birthday, which was such a sweet touch. The only downside is the parking -- it can be pretty rough, especially during busier times, and the walk from the ramp can be a bit long. But once you're inside, the food and service make it well worth it!

Best cheese curds in MN. No need to argue either! The Brie on the inside is a unique touch paired with the house made lingonberry ketchup.

Do you have a private room that would be good for a group of about 10?

Yes they have a ballroom. It should hold around 500 people. They also have a private room that could probably hold around 30. You should be fine

The inside is beautiful and made for a really nice dining experience. We started with the Eichten's cheese curds, and they were excellent. They were soft on the inside, some had a great cheese pull, and the spicy dipping sauce paired really well with them. I ordered the Flat Iron Frites. The steak was seasoned well, cooked nicely, and didn't have much fat, which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. I usually don't even like ketchup, but this one was actually really good. My partner ordered the deviled eggs as his appetizer, and he enjoyed them so much he finished them in no time. For dessert, we had the Strawberry Shortcake Crème Brûlée, and it was fantastic. I've never had crème brûlée like that before. It was a unique twist on a classic dessert and ended the meal perfectly. The only small downside was that the complimentary water tasted clean and fresh. But it was warm instead of cold. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great experience, and I'd happily return. Glad i was able to cross this one off of my list.

The quality of both the food and beverages was outstanding, and the service was great as well. We were all starving and this just did not hit the spot. Fries were just decent, not the best I've had. I did enjoy the thin onion rings the best though. I tried the combo that came with the shake and was disappointed there was barely any strawberry flavor to it. It looked white still, also it took so long for the shake to come out my food was almost gone and I almost forgot about it. Prices aren't bad though, you can get a whole combo for less than $20. There's no need to come back here when shake shack is right upstairs and that is a much better burger. I would still buy the walhlburger patties they sell at hyvee and make it myself. If you want a nice quiet place to sit in the mall you can come here for that.
