Got in just before 10AM on a Saturday and it was pretty full with around three empty tables left. What I will say and recommend though, is to come in-between the hour, i.e., 10:30AM since the seating limit is an hour and 15 minutes. At first I was worried about grabbing a table and starting that time, but the food was served really quickly. Restaurant is brightly lit as it's the corner of the plaza, but the layout was a little too open concept for me. Our two person table was right infront of the main door, and we came out smelling really strongly of the kitchen. Spicy Oxtail Stew was super hearty, had a strong kick to it although it didn't result in me having a running nose like I usually do when eating spice. Had two pieces of oxtail to debone, and the quantity of the other meat pieces was pretty good. The cappucino was with my order, not my favourite as it wasn't piping hot. Two Eggs in a Pod was the smoked salmon benny. The cucumber was a nice addition that added texture and it helped to cut through the salmon. Their homefries are unique in that they're also seasoned on the spicier side with a touch of sugar. Overall, I personally prefer a darker aesthetic like Elephant Grind or Alchemy. Food was pretty good, but I don't think I'll be driving out of the way to visit again! read more

So happy there is a Sisters and Company location in Markham! Now we do not have to trek all the way to Downtown for fantastic brunch. Only only for a few weeks now, I couldn't attend their grand opening. Since they do not currently take reservations so my and my friend Lynn went there early at 8:30am for early brunch. I also went back again a week later with another friend as I wanted to go back and try other items on the menu. This place is bigger than their Downtown location as there are more tables and seatings. Though it wasn't busy, it started to get packed as time progresses. Free parking at the plaza. Service was friendly and efficient. All the staff gave great recommendations and they made sure to check on you a lot of times and ask how the food was. One of the owners Hilary went to every table to ask how was the food and everything. This place is first come first served. No reservations for the moment. So far I have tried the followng: Bulgogi Beef Benedict - A must try for all lovers of eggs and beef. It's my first time trying out this Asian fusion dish. The salad also had great vinaigrette & their home fries had the right crunchyness (also not as spicy). Itty Bitty Wontons - Well fried cutesy wontons. I didn't wanna eat them as they were too adorable Cereal Milk French Toast - That dessert was the bomb with condensed milk, powdered sugar, Frosted Flakes and a great end to the meal . Our waitress (sorry forgot to catch her name) said it was her personal favourite & even recommended to put the order in a few minutes later so that we can finish the other items first. i saw this brunch place on tiktok and realized how close it was to me so i had to try it out! the service here is really great and everyone is super friendly. it's in an industrial area however the inside is very nice. i found the food to be pretty average, if comparing it to other brunch places in markham/richmond hill - but still worth the try! we got the char siu eggs benny (8/10) and bulgolgi eggs benny (5/10), between the two i prefer the char siu, as the bulgolgi was too sweet for me ‍ the side salad and fries were also really yummy and is a bonus since it comes with the meal! at the time, we didn't know the coffee was bottomless as the server told us it would be an extra cost. i learned after posting a review that their coffee is actually bottomless which is definitely a nice to have. read more

Came here on a bank holiday in hopes that there'd be seats available after being told to wait an hour and 45 mins on a weekend. Although, I still had to wait for a table, it was around 30 mins instead. The restaurant is convenient located in the intersection of Birchmount and 14th avenue. The open space is inviting and bright. The staff were friendly and approachable. I was also impressed and surprised to see that the service was quite prompt and efficient. They would rearrange tables and reseat customers in order to accommodate more people in line. However, I did find the corner seat to be a bit crowded and uncomfortable for my family of 3. We only had one small table and couldn't even put our glasses of water down when food were here. I ended up placing the waters at the wobbly corner ledge. Even though the line was long, but surprisingly the food arrived quickly. We ordered the spicy ox tail stew and it was delicious! It came with three toasty bread slices and a fried egg on top. The spiciness was addicting and the ox tail was super tender. Just wish there was more meat. The char siu Benedict was nice. But from the name, I was expecting some sweetness from the the char siu honey sauce and found it more like regular pulled pork. The portion was good as it came with salad and crispy home fries. Also tried their coffee and taro latte which was a pretty purple colour. The final bill came to about $60 something. So a friend and I decided to grab brunch and beat the rush at 9:30am and we heard sisters & co finally opened close to us. We got to the resto at 9:20am and it was already slammed! The hype was real. The place is in a very unassuming plaza in markham. Plenty of parking because not much happening at the plaza. We put our names down and was told a 45 min wait with like 8 other groups of 2 infront of us. Luckily for us they called us back within 20 mins and we were seated before 10am. The place is bright and modern with lots of natural light. Staff was extremely friendly. We ordered the Gojuchang fried chicken and waffles and the bulgogi eggs Benedict which were both extremely delicious. I had high expectations for this place and it really lived up to it. We also both got a drink. My friend got a regular cappuccino and I got the viet coffee latte which was very tasty as well. The interior is fresh, modern, and clean. Their service is impeccably friendly and efficient. Foodwise, we opted for their Avocado Benedict: perfectly put together and delicious. Char su Benedict: Do wish it had a more Asian flavored flare to it as it just felt like pulled pork byt nonetheless tasty. Came here with my bff to catch up over the holidays. As always for brunch, this place was packed even during a weekday. We ended up waiting an hour for a table for two, which was actually pretty nice because we got a chance to run some errands locally. The servers here were excellent and you could tell they loved their workplace. The Chai latte and Taro Latte were excellent. Finally made our way to this breakfast place which opened up a week ago. What a pleasant surprise!! Food was delicious, piping hot, plentiful and unique. All the meals had a unique twist to them, not your typical items. I wish I had taken photos! Service was on point. Stopped in here around 9am on a Saturday and was quickly sat as it was just myself. The place was very full already maybe two tables left open and those were quickly taken as well. Everyone working here was very friendly and moved quickly and attentively. There was a lot of team work here and you don't see that much in restaurants anymore! This place was close to my hotel so that was the first reason I ended up here second was the menu was very unique. I was stuck between probably four things before I decided on the bulgogi beef Benedict! The portions here definitely give you your $ worth. The food came out very room temperature which seemed kinda odd, was it because of the salad? Not a huge deal but definitely wanted to eat faster before it got truely cold. The potato's were good I liked the seasoning, had a little kick. The eggs Benedict was just ok, just a lot of sweet between the sauce the meat marinate and nothing to break it up. Maybe onion, pepper some other element was missing. Also very hard to cut to eat with a butter knife only?? The whole thing became deconstructed each time before I could actually eat it. The salad was very refreshing and I enjoyed the dressing as it was light in flavor. This is a cute and small breakfast spot. It's open with lots of windows. It was a tad on the chilly side, but we were there shortly after opening. It might get warmer later in the day. When we were seated, we were told we could not linger longer than 90 minutes. So we assumed the service would match that directive. It did not. We recommend that you hold off ordering until you get all the condiments you will need for your meal FIRST - and only THEN place your order. The empty plates were not cleared timely, our water was not topped off, and we waited a long time for our bill. Now for the food: AWESOME!! The Korean BBQ Beef Benedict was superior! I highly recommend it. It was savory and flavorful, but not too spicy for a breakfast dish. The eggs were perfect. I don't normally like Hollandaise sauce, but this one complemented the dish perfectly. The dressing on the salad was delightful. The spice on the potatoes was fine, but there was just a bit too much salt for my taste. The pancakes were hearty and flavorful. The melon adult beverage was delightfully refreshing. Went for a lovely brunch on a Sunday morning around 10:30. When we arrived, the place was hopping and was at full capacity. The lovely hostess told us to expect around 30 minute wait, and they can call us when our table was ready, however they preferred if we waited in the car, as the restaurant entrance was a bit tight. No issue for us, so we went back to the car. 5 minutes later we got our call to be seated. In terms of ambiance, the venue is bright, open and airy, but understandably a bit loud given how busy it was. The clientele was a wonderful mix of friends and families getting together for a lovely brunch, including lots of kiddos of all ages. The menu also includes 2 kids options; a chocolate chip pancake and mini traditional eggs and bacon option. Unfortunately my kids wanted the strawberries that come with the regular earl grey pancake, so we opted for that instead. In addition to the earl grey pancakes, we ordered the ox tail stew and chicken and waffles. Let's start with the earl grey pancakes. They are cooked to a perfect golden brown and are delightfully fluffy without being hollow. There were 3 pancakes, served along side a VERY generous scoop of earl grey compound butter, dark amber maple syrup, and the aforementioned strawberries. Everything was DELICOUS, the only thing I could want for, would be maybe more strawberries. The spicy ox tail stew; FANTASTIC! I feel like this is a sleeper item on the brunch menu. Maybe it's not what most people are thinking when they're going for brunch, but if you typically like stews, definitely give this one a second/third thought if you come to Sisters! It's served with a few slices of rye and a perfectly fried egg overtop. The stew itself is great! Just enough spice to warm you a bit, the sauce is rich, flavorful and has body to it that deserves to be mopped up by the rye bread. The rye bread is also not just your ordinary rye bread. The crust is not too hard and the crumb of the bread has amazing density and bounce. If you're a bread person, you'll love this too. The fried egg overtop is just that, over the top. Great compliment to the stew. Lastly was the gochujang maple chicken and waffles. Firstly, you have to take my review with a grain of salt, because I requested the gochujang maple sauce on the side as i had to accommodate for the kiddos. If you do the same, this modified version of the dish was served with the waffles and plain fried chicken overtop, with a small bowl of gochujang and a small bowl of maple syrup on the side. The best part for me was the waffles. I've had my share of waffles, and I have to say these are above average. Most places waffles are pretty hollow and tasteless. Not at Sisters! Similar to the pancakes, the waffles have a denseness, chew and the contrast of the slight crisp of the outside crust. Great waffles. The chicken i would have to say is the low spot of the entire meal. I believe they're hammered out boneless thigh meat, battered, fried and sliced. I presume, because we didn't get it coated in the usual maple gochujang, our chicken was just plain. While I can't comment on how it's normally served, the 2 separate side bowls of gochujang and maple syrup were also just that, plain gochujang and maple syrup. Sure I can dip into both, but what would the original product be like? Hopefully more than the sum of its parts. Lastly for drinks, we ordered a brewed coffee and latte. Brewed coffee is served in a large mug that feels like you're getting a big warm hug. Refills were included. The latte was tip top. This was my first visit to Sisters & Co., but definitely won't be my last. I'd love to try the other items on the menu, and I would expect that they would be just as wonderfully executed as my meal today! 4 STARS. read more

What an amazing hidden gem! We rate our experience a 5/5! Everything was phenomenal! The matcha latte and London fog were both perfect and delicious!
