I ordered the Avocado Eggs Benedict and a latte. It was presented nicely and I loved the home fries! It does have a Cajun spice flavour to it, which was unique. They offered the Tiramisu Pancakes as a special, but I didn't order due to wanting to cut down on sugar. I also liked how the menu included Asian fusion items such as char sui eggs Benedict, Korean fried chicken, Thai iced tea, taro lattes. Love the creativity and variety of options! Finally got to try Sisters & Co! Ever since the opened up their downtown location, we've been wanting to try their food. Since they don't take reservations on the weekend and we don't live in the area, it really didn't make sense for us to go most of the time. So when they opened their Markham location, we were super excited. Definitely gave us a higher chance of us being able to try their food. We got their around noon on a Saturday to put our name on the waiting list. They said the wait was around 30-40 mins, give or take. They took our number down and we just did some errands close by. They called us 30 mins later to say our table would be ready in 10 mins. We really appreciated the 10 minute warning as we had time to wrap up what we were doing and head over to make it on time and not lose our spot. This place is very cute inside and is perfect for a brunch date with friends, your SO or anyone really! Ordering was super easy and quick (especially since we looked at the menu ahead of time on their website). We got the bulgogi fries, gochujang chicken and waffles and the spicy oxtail stew. Everything was delicious. The bulgogi fries were perfectly seasoned and every bite was perfection. We liked the gochujang chicken and waffles, but it's more of a saucy chicken on waffles. For us personally, if it was a more dry and crispy chicken, it would have been chef's kiss. The spicy oxtail stew was a nice surprise. We didn't see any pictures of it, so didn't really know what to expect. It's similar to shakshouka with a tomatoey base, but the egg is fried and it has oxtail. It's served with sourdough bread, which paired so nicely. It was spicy - the spiciest of the three dishes! We love spicy so we thought it was really good. Portions were generous for the price. Since it was just the two of us, we had leftovers to take home. Service was good. Water was always refilled, we were check on a couple of times during our meal and we never felt rushed even though there is an hour and 15 min seating time. Came here on a Monday afternoon. Surprisingly busy. I know this place is very popular, but Monday?! On my server's recommendation I ordered the Sweet Tooth Special which was Apple Crumble Pancakes. I love pancakes but I was a bit hesitant because I don't like overly sweet toppings. He assured me he thought it was the best thing on the menu. They were so fluffy and not too sweet. Fresh apple topping with cream. Not enough syrup, but that's a small thing. I had a Vietnamese iced latte which was average, nothing special. Flavour not intense enough. I got their gochujang chicken and waffle and their Vietnamese iced latte. It was just okay, the chicken consisted of separate chicken thigh pieces together and it was kinda hard/dry. The server never came to check on us after they had dropped off the food, service could have been better. They don't take reservations (on the weekend anyway) so we had to wait about 45 mins on a Saturday afternoon. The service is great and very friendly. We ordered the bulgogi benedict, traditional breakfast, chicken and waffles, thai iced tea, coffee and a mango cocktail. Total bill was about $120 which i thought was a good deal given the quality of the food. Everyone enjoyed their meals- it was hot, tasty and the home fries are so delicious! I've been wanting to try Sisters and Co. for a really long time. Never tried the downtown location so I was excited they opened a location in Markham. They took over the old Milliken Restaurant space and remodelled it into a bright and modern space. I was immediately greeted when I entered the restaurant and told to sit anywhere. The service is impeccable and attentive. I was told the sweet tooth special and had to definitely get the Tiramisu pancakes which are only available the month of June. I also wanted to try something regular so I ordered the Traditional breakfast and substituted the eggs for Avocado. I was surprised they charged me an extra $2 for the substitute but I guess it's okay. I also ordered a cappuccino. Cappuccino came out first followed by the traditional breakfast and then the tiramisu pancakes. The food was hot and presented perfectly. They obviously take time to make sure everything looks perfect, from the perfectly sliced avocado to the perfectly arranged toast. Each dish is perfect and attention is obviously given to each dish that comes out of the kitchen. The homesfries are nicely fried with a nice little kick to them, the bacon nicely cooked and the toast is lightly toasted perfection. Overall a nice, beautiful and tasty traditional breakfast, not greasy, just yummy. The tiramisu pancakes are just as perfectly presented. Topped with mascarpone and lightly dusted with coco powder. First bit, it tastes like tiramisu. My only issue are the pancakes are quite chewy, and not light and fluffy. Overall, it is a perfect sweet tooth option and worth a try if you are visiting the restaurant in June. The cappuccino is more of a latte, which is typical of most establishments as they tend to make it more of a latte than a traditional cappuccino. Overall, an elevated brunch experience. However, I wish it did have a bit more beef, did feel like they skimped out a bit especially for the price. The house fries that came with the benny had a mildly spicy kick to them, which was actually quite delicious! My friends enjoyed the Char Siu Eggs Benny and Ox Tail Stew as well, both of which were a huge hit. The service was quick, and the staff were very friendly. Really nice to see more brunch spots opening up in Markham and I like the cute menu design (both the art and the food options). We came for boxing day and called ahead to be added to the wait list. Thank goodness we did because there's not a lot of room to stand and wait and of course there were quite a few people. I ordered a lavender latte to start which tasted nice and floral. My parents ordered a coffee and flat white - and they both sorta tasted similar. I am no coffee connoisseur though. We tried: Char Sui Benedict - lacked char sui sadly.. But the poach egg was amazing. Bulgogi Beef Benedict. - also lacked bulgogi texture. It was more like a ground beef but I thought the flavour was pretty decent. Again, the egg was perfect. Mushroom Truffle Benny - very mushroomy, but also very wet and slimy. It is best eaten quickly I suppose? Gochujang Chicken & Waffle - it came with a kimchi that was pretty spicy. Both the chicken and the waffle were good. Over all, the food was good, but I think they could do a bit more with the meat - and also better portioning. All of our bennys had just the smallest pile of meat on it. But that egg was perfect every time! Given we have a lot of similar restaurants now in the neighbourhood, this wouldn't be my go-to. Wanted to order chai latte but they were out so I got the matcha latte, it doesn't come with sugar so they suggested adding some condense milk which I was fine with (I didn't realize they charged $0.75 for condensed milk, I don't mind, but the waitress should have been upfront about the cost). My friend had the iced Thai tea which looked good too! My friend ordered the guchujang chicken and waffles. The chicken wasn't that spicy. I thought it looked better than the taste. I guess by the time I had it I thought the chicken wasn't crispy enough. I liked the cucumber kimchi though. I ordered the beef bulgogi Benedict, it was tasty and the beef was sweet. Their taro latte tasted like the powder that bubble tea places use. They have some asian inspired dishes which sounds good. The table next to us got the pancakes which looked so good so maybe will try that if I'm looking for a sweet breakfast. Perusing the menu, I was excited to try some of their unique offerings, including gochujang chicken and waffles, or the bulgogi beef eggs benedict. On my visit to the café on a Saturday morning, the place was packed at 9:30am. My server Maya was delightful. Her genuine smile and ability to make customers feel welcome are a definite asset to this establishment. She took my name and phone number and I waited in the car for about 10 minutes until a table became available. Upon being seated, I ordered a flat white as well as the Bulgogi egg benedict. My food came out quickly from when I ordered it. My flat white was okay, but was a bit on the acidic side. The latte art was on point though. My bulgogi beef eggs Bennie was delicious. I enjoyed how the sweetness of the Bulgogi beef went really well with the eggs and the salad, and was complimented by the spicier and crispy home fries. The aesthetics of this café are really cute. We entered the restaurant and we still had to wait another 15 minutes. First, we ordered the hojicha latte. They use tea bags for their lattes and there was barely any flavour because it was steeping in warm milk. So not worth $5. Next, we got the Gochujang chicken waffle. We decided to try this place out after seeing Keith Lee's review of it. We've always lived nearby and this place replaced the Milliken Restaurant that used to be here. We came at around 11:30 on a thursday and the place was completely packed, although that may be because of the Keith Lee review. The place itself is fairly small so if you are going to have a large party, make sure to call and make a reservation. Despite it being so busy the service was still good as it didn't take long to get our orders and meals. We ordered a pair of cappucino's and the taste is about what you expect from a cafe (good but don't expect a roastery's level of quality). As for our meals I had the gochujang waffles and my wife had the avocado benedict. Both were very good and the gochujang waffles was a nice fusion approach to chicken and waffles. The waffles themselves were definitely the highlight and I'm sure anything on the menu with the waffles will be good. The chicken was good, but I've had better quality chicken at other places, the gochujang sauce though definitely made it better, and if they had used a more korean fried chicken style of chicken it would have been great. The avocado eggs benedict was definitely very good by benedict standards, although since this restaurant specializes in fusion cuisine I think the bulgogi or char siu benedicts will be better. They not only refilled the water and coffee, but just as our hands were getting messy with the food the waiter took initiative by coming by with extra napkins within 5 seconds. When we walked in, they told us it would likely be about a 15 minute wait but then my mom spotted an empty table near the back corner and I inquired about it. The pancakes are large, and come with more than enough earl grey whipped cream, with a tiny bit of syrup with a few strawberries. For the price, I didn't expect anything less from a modern establishment; however, I knew it wouldn't fill me up. I'm thinking.. well, i'll get eggs and bacon. for $7.50 before tax, you're given a few pieces of bacon that aren't crisp, and about 1 scrambled egg from the looks of it? Crime. My girlfriend didn't touch the fried chicken pieces. and barely ate the waffle since the sauce was all over it.. We noticed no one else was eating this meal either. Opened their first location in Toronto of 2019, the group of best friends now brings their brunch menu to Markham. Sisters & Co offers a variety of egg Benedict dishes, waffles and many fusion options with an Asian twist - like bulgogi and char siu. One thing to highlight was their food came very quick, which was wonderful. First dish we had was the gochujang chicken & waffle. Gochujang is a Korean chili paste, in which the chicken was tossed in. The chicken was served in strips, which personally I found it less juicy. The waffle was good, soft and pillowy. Second dish we had was the cereal milk French toast - which was made with fried milk bread topped with whipped custard and Frosted Flakes. The custard was tasty, although the cereal was subtle. We also had the Vietnamese iced latte, which the coffee flavour was nice and strong. Got in just before 10AM on a Saturday and it was pretty full with around three empty tables left. What I will say and recommend though, is to come in-between the hour, i.e., 10:30AM since the seating limit is an hour and 15 minutes. At first I was worried about grabbing a table and starting that time, but the food was served really quickly. Restaurant is brightly lit as it's the corner of the plaza, but the layout was a little too open concept for me. Our two person table was right infront of the main door, and we came out smelling really strongly of the kitchen. Spicy Oxtail Stew was super hearty, had a strong kick to it although it didn't result in me having a running nose like I usually do when eating spice. Had two pieces of oxtail to debone, and the quantity of the other meat pieces was pretty good. The cappucino was with my order, not my favourite as it wasn't piping hot. Two Eggs in a Pod was the smoked salmon benny. The cucumber was a nice addition that added texture and it helped to cut through the salmon. Their homefries are unique in that they're also seasoned on the spicier side with a touch of sugar. Overall, I personally prefer a darker aesthetic like Elephant Grind or Alchemy. Food was pretty good, but I don't think I'll be driving out of the way to visit again! read more

We love this spot! The food and service are great. Beware of long waiting times - it can get very busy. The espresso drinks and coffee are all fantastic. The food is hot and fresh and delicious. Definitely our fav brunch spot. We also really like the vibe and decor. read more

So happy there is a Sisters and Company location in Markham! Now we do not have to trek all the way to Downtown for fantastic brunch. Only only for a few weeks now, I couldn't attend their grand opening. Since they do not currently take reservations so my and my friend Lynn went there early at 8:30am for early brunch. I also went back again a week later with another friend as I wanted to go back and try other items on the menu. This place is bigger than their Downtown location as there are more tables and seatings. Though it wasn't busy, it started to get packed as time progresses. Free parking at the plaza. Service was friendly and efficient. All the staff gave great recommendations and they made sure to check on you a lot of times and ask how the food was. One of the owners Hilary went to every table to ask how was the food and everything. This place is first come first served. No reservations for the moment. So far I have tried the followng: Bulgogi Beef Benedict - A must try for all lovers of eggs and beef. It's my first time trying out this Asian fusion dish. The salad also had great vinaigrette & their home fries had the right crunchyness (also not as spicy). Itty Bitty Wontons - Well fried cutesy wontons. I didn't wanna eat them as they were too adorable Cereal Milk French Toast - That dessert was the bomb with condensed milk, powdered sugar, Frosted Flakes and a great end to the meal . Our waitress (sorry forgot to catch her name) said it was her personal favourite & even recommended to put the order in a few minutes later so that we can finish the other items first. Lattes were well made, whether it was cold or hot. I ordered their cold Vietnamese Iced Latte & loved that we could customized the sweetness Earl Grey Pancakes with Mascapone.. I had already had my main and couldn't resist so I ordered and finished all the pancakes to myself as my friend was full. Spicy Oxtail Stew ..indeed spicy.. wish it had more meat but definitely very comforting dish with the cooler weather - only exclusive in Markham.
