One of the local foodie pages recommended The Well Oiled Machine Delicatessen as the place to get a good pastrami sandwich. The sandwich was well made on a very good roll. The pastrami was thinly sliced and nicely spiced. My wife commented that the more she ate of the sandwich; the more she like the sandwich. We also purchased two big candy cookies that we had to share because of the size. Thanks to the cookies, we spent more than we would like to have spent. The rest of the menu looked so inviting that we will be back for more sandwiches and cookies. read more

The Well Oiled Machine is a new semi-fast, stand-alone drive-through serving sandwiches, wraps and soup out of a small building in a parking lot off Canal Street. It's a new operation run by two sisters. - Cheesesteak: a Philly-style cheesesteak, ordered with provolone (you can get other cheeses), made with Big Ed's bread. This is a good Philly. I don't know if it's 'authentic' - don't care. Nice cuts of steak. The 'whole' size is 8 inches and will definitely be enough for most folks. - Baked potato soup: the 'soup-of-day' when I was there. Pretty darn good, maybe not as heart-attack inducing as I expected but I probably don't actually need a heart attack. Per their FB page, they sold out soon after I left, so it's popular. I was a little skeptical of the drive-thru format, thinking it might not work for busy times given that their menu is not fast-food. Still, they whip up the sandwiches pretty quickly. The building (the size of a coffee shack) is arranged such that cars can pull up to either side, so two orders can be filled at once. The sisters running the joint are super friendly. Their choice of business name comes from when they were both worked a previous job and were said to put out product 'like a well-oiled machine'. Based on my one visit, I'd say the name is apt. I love this little shop. Family owned business. These ladies make amazing sandwiches, wraps & coffees. And soup during soup season. Have not had everything yet but I'm working on it. I love the Italian in a wrap. If the line is long it's wort the wait. These gals don't just stand around so they are pretty quick. Give this spot a try. I musta hit this place on an off day ( I'm hoping so anyhow) or else people in Redmond don't know what a good sandwich is. Service is great and is fast HOWEVER.... This is an $8.00 sandwich??? This place is a hit! It's owned by two local sisters who are the SWEETEST people. I come here almost daily, the coffee and food cannot be beat. They have sooo many lunch options. Their infused red bulls are so good. I love that they give you a hard plastic straw! The Salted Carmel Iced Breve is to die for. Discovered this place on Yelp. Gave it a try. Food was pretty good. Service was good. We were able to just wait for our food but there is not much parking if you have to wait very long. I think you could use 3 spaces near the food cart. Server should ask if she can add a tip to credit card. We will try it again. read more
