When I find something I like ( especially food) I want to share my thoughts with my friends and fellow Yelpers. 4 days ago I came to the Wich Doctor for one of my favorite sandwiches I have ever eaten. The Peach Pit. I knew my wife and friends were going out to dinner in a few days . I made sure we were going to eat at the WIch Doctor. My wife and friend Cheri are both vegetarian. They both tried the TLC. Farm tomatoes and mixed greens, house mayo, smoked crunchy salt, tillamook smoked cheddar crusted sparrow bakery sliced sourdough. My wife and friend Cheri are vegetarian. They both could not believe that the sandwich tasted like a BLT. Brenda ( co-owner) said the combination of the smokey salt and smokey cheese make a bacon flavor. They both loved their sandwiches. MY friend Dave had the Peach Pit. He had the same feeling as when I had that sandwich the other day. OUTSTANDING. I wanted to try Cedar Street . Roasted tri-tip, irish cheddar, obsidian stout worcestershire shallot jam, house mayo, arugula, toasted one loaf bend bakery sourdough ciabatta. This upscale Cheesestake sandwich was terrific. The best tri- tip I've ever eaten. After eating I had to tell "Chef" Cody ( co-owner) he was batting 2 for 2 on my visits to " Wich Doctor". Both Brenda and Cody are great at what they have put together. Great food and friendly , informative service. read more

10/10 no notes. Looking for a good lunch spot? This is it. Their tri-tip sandwhich is delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and is well seasoned on a soft toasted ciabatta roll. I've tried a few different tri-tip sandwiches in bend recently and this one might be my favorite (don't come for me!). The staff are really nice too! In case you haven't been to this area, it's a food truck that is part of an outdoor pavilion area. Super fun spot to check out if you're with a group. I'll be back! read more

I have never written a yelp review before but this place was so good I have to. It is the cutest food truck located in a little square with other trucks. A ton of outdoor seating with cute string lights! My parents and I got the Cedar Street and BLT. I genuinely think these are some of the best sandwiches I have ever had. We all went to the food trucks around here as there were eight of us and we all wanted different things. After careful thought I ended up here an ordered "The Linda" sandwich. It is green chili braised chicken thighs (tender as hell), smoked chicken breast (heaven), pickled peppers , lime aioli and Swiss with a very nice habanero coconut hot sauce. My lips and tongue were smoking in the most satisfactory way. Other sandwiches looked amazing. Cooked to order! Highly recommend this place wherever you happen to find them. Located at the Dogwood at the Pine Shed food truck/cocktail bar on 2nd St. No longer at the Deschutes tasting room as this page states on the app (the business owner might want to have that updated). - Cedar Street sandwich: one of the best sandwiches I've had in years. Perfectly prepared tri-tip beef, with the proper proportion of cheese, arugula and sauces. The ciabatta from M's Bakery is perfect for this sandwich. It's not huge but is large enough that I didn't miss the fries or chips that most places offer as accompaniments. Quick, friendly service and the price is reasonable. read more

We read about this food truck and finally was able to take a road trip to Bend to try out the BEST sandwich shop in town. We were not disappointed! They truly design each sandwich for flavor profile and texture. I ordered The Linda, The Cedar Street and Three Fingered Jack. We also got a Cheddar twice Baked Potato and the House Smoked Chex Mix. Wich Doctor is a permanent (?) food truck located outside of the Deschutes Bend Tasting Room & Beer Garden. When I visited, the menu had 5 sandwiches ($13-$15) plus a few sides ($6-$7). I had the Cedar Street ($15) which has roasted tri tip beef, Irish cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, shallot jam, mayo, and arugula on M's Bakery ciabatta bread. The sandwich was very good but on the small side. The fillings didn't reach to the ends of the sandwich, so my last few bites were mostly bread. All the ingredients add up to a delicious umami flavor, which the arugula helps balance. Overall, good flavors, but size and construction have room for improvement. Staff were friendly and brought the sandwich to us as we sat outside nearby. It took about 5-10 minutes to prepare. read more

We walked pass this food truck when we visited Deschutes Brewery Tasting Room. Luckily we decided to get their food, instead of food available at the tasting room. Lambda Lambda Lambda, Spring seasonal sandwich with roasted lamb and mint sauce, is super delicious and addicting. I could not stop enjoying every bite. Stopped here on our way into town. Wish I could give them a bonus star because the food was that good. We had the Linda and the Cedar Street and both were excellent. The flavors were all perfectly balanced and the bread was both crunchy and soft. My husband prizes structural integrity of a sandwich over many other things and this place passed his test with flying colors. Definitely recommend! read more

Ok getting ready to board the flavor town express. This little food cart packs a punch that will knock your flavor socks off and daze and confuse your mind into dreaming of the sandwiches. Doctor doctor give me a reason not to eat here every day; this place this is the bomb. We had their walla walla bing bang sandwich which absolutely killed from the first bite to the last. Only which that it was bigger. We also tried the three finger jack- couldn't believe it had no meat. The food here is exceptional. I had the seasonal black sheep, which had braised lamb and collard greens plus a warm dipping juice. This sandwich was not only delicious but super comforting. I also had an iced tea with homemade mango syrup, it was refreshing and delicious. They gave me a sample of their homemade Chex mix which had a delightful kick from the black pepper, I took home a few little boxes to enjoy for later. read more

Visiting Bend for a few days from the SF Bay Area. Stopped by around 2 on a sunny Saturday to enjoy a delicious sandwich. My husband and I had the Cedar Street, and my son the Gene Parmesan. Stopped for lunch and had the Cedar Street, trip tip was perfectly cooked, bread was fresh, great mix of flavors. Highly recommend.

Excellent high quality sandwich, delicious ingredients that all worked well together. It's a food truck but located next to a nice bar that lets you bring the food inside if you order a drink. Doesn't have to be an alcoholic drink. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon! read more

The tri tip sandwich was delicious. It came with a special shallot Worcestershire jam. My wife was skeptical, but after trying it, she's a complete convert. It really pulled the sandwich together and elevated it above other tri tip sandos. Service was friendly and quick. Try it out! read more

Wow. What a sandwich. I ordered the seasonal Peach Pit. It was a fabulously imagined combo of prosciutto and caprese, subbing peaches for tomatoes. A bit of chili crisp kept it from being too sweet and a lovely chewy baguette held it all together. It was an amazing sandwich and I will definitely be back to try their other offerings. read more
