This is a nice breakfast/brunch place off the strip. If you are into mimosas, then this is the place for you.

Cute little diner vibe. Food was great. Fruity pebbles shake tastes just like milk and cereal. Chicken and waffles looked amazing. Niece said chicken was amazing. And she eats a lot of chicken. I had the Carolina it was good but I wouldn't get it again. Unless I got a different meat, pretty sure that was what made the bottom soggy as heck (see my picture). The egg was also too thick (see picture) definitely should have been half the egg that was there. But the jam was AMAZING!!! They should sell it!!! Tatter tots were tatter tots lol. But the potato casserole was really good!!service was good. Would go again.

We were within walking distance from where we were staying and said we have to try Sisters. Menu looked great and it did not disappoint. Old school diner vibe with awesome service. I went with the number 17 which is a skillet with a side of sourdough and a homemade jam and applesauce too. Portions are huge and I barely finished mine. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Well worth the stop in!

Perfect retro decor with big front wall windows gives Sisters a very appealing vibe. Different seating, from high bar tops to booths and two tops make it easy to accommodate different parties. Simple two sided menus, with drinks on one side, including breakfast/brunch appropriate cocktails, like mimosas and Bloody Marys, and food on the other. Ordered the Eggs Jenni with tots and it was excellent. Kind of dish I'll be craving. Service was perfect, attentive without hovering. Very clean as well. We were here previously with the fam, and everyone was happy then too. No reservations, so if you're coming on the weekend, or during tourist season, be prepared for a wait. Weekdays off season, easy to get a table. It is really a lovely place for brunch, especially if you want a cocktail. Not too many places like this in town. Worth the wait on weekends.

Sisters is a quaint breakfast/brunch spot located in Traverse City. The place is hopping, so be prepared to wait a bit for your table. We waited about 40 minutes on a Sunday morning, 10am. The restaurant does close at 2pm! The place is cozy & the server was super kind. The portions were large to match the item prices. Everything was scratch made, and very delicious. We started with the breakfast poutine, which was a special. Wow! Very flavorful & different. I opted for the ever famous crunchy crispy French toast. It was dessert for breakfast!Topped with roasted strawberries & a dollop of homemade cinnamon butter- yummy! My family ordered the spicy chicken & jalapeño cornbread waffles- amazing, and the biscuits & gravy, also delicious. We will definitely be back.

Our meal here was one of the best our whole trip! We had a very short wait and visited the courtyard to the rear of the restaurant for a selection of drinks and enjoyed classic mimosas while we waited. Once seated inside we started with another round of refreshing mimosas including the Princess mimosa, Meet at the peach Pit and one night in Paris all of which we loved. For starters we ordered That's My Jam-fried goat cheese topped with wild berry jam and it was tasty and a side order of praline bacon and after one bite we immediately ordered more bacon because it was so amazing! Our group tried the Charlotte sandwich (which has Monte Cristo vibes), Eggs Benny and the Big Cheesy burrito. These were all delicious and huge portions that we definitely should have split but overall this was a perfect brunch to kick off our day in sunny Michigan.

I came here with my family yesterday and it was such a great experience that we decided to come again today! Yesterday, Ethan G. was our server, he was really charismatic and really has his charm. It's really sweet that one of their walls is decorated with various family photos is sisters, we love the dogs too. This morning I ordered the Sweet & Spicy Chicken and Waffles and it was phenomenal! The idea of adding diced jalapenos to waffle batter is genius and they executed it perfectly. If we come back to Michigan, we'll stop by.

Great breakfast spot in Traverse City. Fresh quality ingredients, homemade mixed berry jam, darling ambience, and great service from Megan! An A+ experience- highly recommend checking out Sisters when you are in Traverse City.

Nice restaurant right on Front Street. Friendly staff. Good menu. Good portion sizes. Parking is either on the street, or out back. We will definitely be coming back.

Fantastic breakfast spot with a variety of morning alcoholic drinks and unique breakfast options. We gave it a shot and can't wait to come back.

Tried the biscuit basket as a starter. The biscuits were a little dry and cold but the gravy, cinnamon butter, and jam was really good. The best part of the veggie scramble was the chimmichuri sauce. The cheesy potatoes had a good flavor too, not too salty.

Such a great breakfast spot! We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we got seated especially on the 4th of July weekend! The food was delicious, I got the Eggs Benedict ... omg ... incredible, and the fried goat cheese was absolutely to die for. My husband got the sweet & spicy chicken on a cornbread waffle. Not what i was expecting with the whole corn kernels in the waffle but still delicious

The Michigan Benedict ($16) was extremely well-made. The thick-cut bacon was crispy and stayed crispy even at the end, after being soaked in hollandaise. It just had that simple balance of fatty fragrance and crunchy bite. The Seafood Omelette ($26) was also really, really nice. The portion of seafood was genuinely generous: I counted at least three scallops, four shrimp, and mouthful after mouthful of lobster folded into a provolone béchamel. Scoop up a piece with the toasted focaccia and it's hard to imagine a better way to start the morning. Service was prompt and the room was cozy and unpretentious. We'll definitely want to be back to try the lunch and dinner menu.

That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow roasted with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious. the gravy was perfect without overpowering. The carrots and onions were a great compliment. Plus the real mashed potatoes were made to perfection. Smooth, yet still had the potatoness to the texture. The taste was one of the better mashed potatoes I've had in TC. I don't know what they do th their TC Cherry Coke, but it is spectacular. Lastly for dessert I got their Lava Cake ($7), it was fine, but disappointing after such a great meal. I don't know if it was from frozen or what. However the texture was a little off andvthe taste was only okay. I wouldn't get it again. The service was very friendly and super helpful. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. I had a wonderful first visit to Sugar to Salt and will definitely be back…read more I ordered the breakfast risotto with a side of the cast-iron cornbread. The risotto was outstanding--loaded with incredibly fresh vegetables, smoky tasso ham, creamy raclette cheese, and one of the best pestos I've ever tasted. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about risotto for breakfast, but it absolutely worked. The cast-iron cornbread was also excellent, especially the honey butter glaze and the whole kernels of corn throughout. The service was warm and friendly, even during a very busy brunch. This is definitely on the pricier side, but I felt the quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the menu, and the care that went into every dish made it worth it. My only food-related criticism was that my poached egg was just slightly overcooked, but it was a very minor issue in an otherwise exceptional meal. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the acoustics inside the dining room. When the restaurant is busy, the noise level becomes overwhelming and takes away from what is otherwise a fantastic dining experience. I ended up sitting outside, and the patio was peaceful and relaxing. I hope the owners consider adding some acoustic treatment because the food deserves an atmosphere that matches its quality. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying several other dishes on the menu.

We got to skip the wait and I just grabbed my order from the shelf. I did have to wait at the counter for them to fill my coffee cup, but I appreciated that it was hot and fresh. The Sausage Gravy omelet, with the house-made sausage gravy, rye toast, and the homemade strawberry jam was terrific. The omelet was not only super tasty, but it was enormous! It was extremely filling and the strawberry jam was excellent! The Chimichurri omelet with gluten free toast was equally flavorful with loads of prime rib and chimichurri sauce both inside and on top. It was so big, it could have been 2 breakfasts. The Chimichurri sauce was spot-on, the prime rib was tender and well-seasoned, but had just a bit too much fat on some of the pieces. The GF toast was far better than most places (it was actually the size of a normal piece of toast, not like the dinky gf substitutes you normally get) and accentuated with that same strawberry jam, took it up a notch! The Avocado Toast (also on GF toast) was good, but the avocado mash had just a tad bit too much lemon in the mix that made it a little cheek puckering; however, the tomatoes were fresh, the goat cheese was generously portioned and tasty, and the egg on topped was cooked to perfection. I'd certainly give this one a 2nd chance. The star of the show? The fresh squeezed OJ! Perhaps the best OJ any of us have ever had...seriously. Everyone in our family agreed, and we all went ham on our glasses of juice (LOL). The outside of the building doesn't lead you to expect the amazing level of food that is coming out of the kitchen. Don't get me wrong - the inside is bright, quaint, cozy, and super clean, but the food speaks volumes at a much higher decibel. Our server, Annika, was utterly outstanding! She was funny, personable, engaging, and informative. She made great suggestions, had great stories, and knew how to sell (she sold us on the OJ by sharing how it was made, how much she liked it, and how it was worth all the work they do to make it because of how good it is). Thank you, Annika, for keeping us laughing and making a normal breakfast an unforgettable family outing! We're already making plans for our next visit when we're in TC again.
