BLT Fries Pancakes Short Rib Benedict
    Noah

Seating outdoors on a great summer day, wait staff extremely helpful for my first visit to Traverse city. We ordered the BLT, short rib benny, as well as a 1/2 order of fries and 1/2 order of the pancakes! Excellent brunch option for those visiting downtown TC!

We wanted some brunch and stumbled across this restaurant on Yelp. This place seems very popular! When we arrived there was a good amount of people waiting for a table. We put our name in for 3 and was estimated 45 mins. We waited maybe 20 mins. Not bad! They don't do text to let you know the table is ready so you have to stay close to the restaurant. I like the text option so we can roam and shop while we wait. But we didn't wait long we just walked down the street to get a coffee, came back and the table was ready. We got the Chicken Benedict and the Regular Benedict. Both were super yummy! The friend chicken one was so good it was on a potato. There aren't any kids meals, but they do sides of most things. We did a side blueberry pancake and eggs, she loved it. Our server Lauren was really friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our brunch here. It's not super loud in the restaurant either so you can relax and eat your food with your family. We saw people order the Grilled Cheese and we kept eyeing it! We want to come back to try that!

Beautiful courtyard feel outdoor seating as an option. Tables are far apart which is nice. Food was so good! Loved that everything was different than what you would usually see at a brunch place. I wanted to order everything. Also our server was so kind and gave us his favorites. We had questions about the beach too and he answered all our questions. Will definitely be back when we visit again. I got the short rib Benedict. The twist was instead of an English muffin it was fried polenta with horseradish sauce. The horseradish was not overpowering. I also had a bite of the surf and turf. Delicious and interesting!

    Root Vegetable Gratin

Brunch here was awesome. Hubby had the pulled pork in puff pastry which was so delicious. I had the root vegetable gratin which was basically like a veggie lasagna. It was one of the best brunch dishes I ever had. Service was 10/10. Friendly and attentive staff. Atmosphere is casual, no frills ambiance. We will be back for sure!

We ate here for breakfast, and it was amazing! It's our first time visiting traverse City. We asked our server at dinner (Taproot Cider House - definitely recommend!) last night where to go for breakfast, and she suggested here. We love a good local breakfast and brunch eatery, and this place did not disappoint. We had wonderful service, and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We sat outside in their beautiful courtyard. I definitely recommend eating here!

My boyfriend and I were up in Traverse City with my dog for a weekend, so all the Google searches for food had a requirement of "dog friendly." This place was an incredible find. No wait for a table. Service was absolutely top-notch and so kind. Food was incredible as well. My Tasso Benedict was a generous portion and incredible quality. My boyfriend is still talking about the gnocchi that he had. We will absolutely be back.

    Veggie Omelette with sausage patty.

This is a good combo. There were a lot of veggies in the omelette and the sausage patty had a sweet/salty taste. The bib lettuce was a refreshing in between bites. The outdoor patio was perfect for a summer morning.

We loved The Towne Plaza. This was our first stop when we made it to Traverse City for a long weekend. We had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes, but considering the time of day and being on a weekend, we were sat quite quickly. The inside of this restaurant is small with pretty limited seating. They do have a very cute court yard with tables which is where we opted to eat. Our server, despite being obviously very busy, was very good and attentive to us. We got the traditional eggs Benedict, chicken and potato waffles and shared an order of the French toast. Everything was amazing, we especially loved the potatoes for both dishes. The French toast was delicious! It was something between French toast and bread pudding. It had raisins and cranberries and was the perfect amount of sweet. Just delicious!

Omelette, fruit and yogurt, and a side salad

I love a good breakfast spot, and a local we met at dinner the night before recommended The Towne Plaza for their Benedicts specifically. Nate and I wandered down from our Airbnb and got one of the last open tables on the big patio. The patio is so lovely! It was mostly shaded when we were there, and it was fun to people and dog watch. (The patio is dog-friendly.) The menu had lots of great sounding items, but I wanted some healthier options, so I ordered a side salad and fruit and yogurt. (Note that fruit, yogurt, and granola are all sold separately for $6 each. The menu is a little bit confusing on that.) Nate got the omelette with bacon, ham, steak, and mushrooms. The food was really delicious! We asked for hot sauce for the omelette, which made it perfect. The side salad was a large portion and dressed nicely. The yogurt was some of the most delicious yogurt I've ever had, but the fruit was just okay (some of it was overripe). I had several bites of the omelette which was so savory and tasty! I really loved this place and even though it was a little bit pricey I'd definitely go back. The service was great too.

I've always heard good things about brunch at the towns plaza- but honestly, I could kick myself for not going sooner. Delicious! The chipotle Bloody Mary had a smooth, Smokey taste to it- and the garnishes were great. The meat omelette was superb- the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the steak in the omelette was cooked to perfection. The seasoned potatoes and dressed Bibb lettuce was a great side dish as well. Wonderful service, and even though it's a little small on the inside- the staff work hard and efficiently to get guests in as seated. A must stop in the TC area.

My love! Patiently waiting for his food!

    O. My. Gosh. This place is one of the BEST places I've been to for breakfast ever. The grilled Romaine is incredible. The homemade sausage and bacon is amazing. My husband had the stuffed pepper. He liked it a lot but would have liked more chorizo. We also split the vegetable gratin! So delicious! I would recommend for anyone who is in TC to come here for breakfast. Truth be told, we came two mornings in a row! It was wor

We tried this place, had Short Rib + Filet Egg Benedicts. Filet Benedict was fabulous- a must if you are not a vegetarian! We had to try it again today, with different items to make sure it's not a fluke. Had the salmon cake Benedict and egg omelette with wild mushroom & bacon. This place is legit (4 out of 4 items ) and we will be back here again during next trip.

As local area residents, this wasn't our first visit to Towne Plaza, I believe it was our third. On weekends, you'll more than likely have a wait time, but it's definitely worth it. The inside isn't huge, but it works. There is also bar-top seating. Service was as fast as it could possibly despite it being taxingly busy; the staff is obviously used to it. We didn't have to wait too long to have our order taken; it gave us time to look around and see what others were having. Next to us I saw the Grilled Cheese, which isn't what you think. It's a baguette concoction of cheese and deliciousness you MUST try, and I did! It was fantastic, but I recommend splitting it with a few people. I also saw on their table and then ordered The Benedict, which was absolutely scrumptious--the Hollandaise sauce was perfect: not too much or too little. The potatoes and Bibb lettuce that accompany it were also wonderful. My husband ordered the beef and pork belly burger, and he enjoyed it along with a side order of fries, which he enjoyed very much. The service was fantastic, and our service was very sweet, and said she appreciated our patience throughout our visit. We have never been disappointed with a meal here. If you live here, you should definitely make your way downtown and treat yourself. If just visiting, DON'T miss it!

So, I was expecting the food to be slightly overhyped. But, I was definitely wrong. I went with a colleague of mine and we were lucky enough to stop by during their happy hour so, we went all out on the appetizers. We ordered their calamari, the sliders, the beef Korean tacos, and the flat bread. Immediately I was blown away by how fresh the food was. Particularly the Thai calamari. As for the Korean beef tacos- the beef was so tender! The protein on the sliders was tenderloins and those were equally delicious. The flat bread surprised me a bit! Ingredients include hummus, feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes and an additional assortment green veggies. So I was expecting it to be a cold dish but it was actually warm. The bread was exceptionally soft. There was not one mediocre thing that we ordered, everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The interior isn't much to look at, like I said the restaurant is located inside a hotel. However, with food that tasty who cares about the interior design of a restaurant! If you are ever in traverse city, NOT dinning at the Reflect Bistro will be doing a massive disservice to yourself!

That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow roasted with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious. the gravy was perfect without overpowering. The carrots and onions were a great compliment. Plus the real mashed potatoes were made to perfection. Smooth, yet still had the potatoness to the texture. The taste was one of the better mashed potatoes I've had in TC. I don't know what they do th their TC Cherry Coke, but it is spectacular. Lastly for dessert I got their Lava Cake ($7), it was fine, but disappointing after such a great meal. I don't know if it was from frozen or what. However the texture was a little off andvthe taste was only okay. I wouldn't get it again. The service was very friendly and super helpful. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Since I have to round, I'm going to forgive the dessert and give a full 5 stars. Would I return? Absolutely. Especially if I'm craving Pot Roast.
