Wow! Sooo delicious! First of all, we chose this place because it had better/easier parking. The one downtown has construction right outside of it. They have such a big selection on their menu! We went with a cinnamon roll (so fluffy and good and not too sweet), Eggs Benedict, and a Chimichurri Omlette. The Omlette was soo flavorful and good but the dairy (the cheese) affected my stomach after. The pancake was made well but the portions are so huge, I couldn't finish it! I definitely recommend sharing if you don't eat a lot. The service was very friendly! The restaurant is also right next to a Wild Birds store.

This is your basic diner. Decent food. Super helpful staff. Nothing to blow you out of the water but food tasted good. Their cinnamon rolls are really good and plenty of icing which is helpful. Our server was patient and helpful and even engaged us around why we were in town and so on. Restaurant is dated but functional. They do the business because I came back the next day to a shop a couple of doors down and people were waiting outside to get seated. Definitely worth a stop if you like the Mom and Pop type places.

Tomato soup and loaded grilled cheese (what was left of it!)

We loved this place so much we went twice!! What a great experience. The staff is young, hard working and very polished. The food choices are varied and everything we had was delicious. The loaded grilled cheese with smoked cheese, avocado and tomato was the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The tomato soup isn't your typical tomato soup. It's more like a vegetable soup with potatoes, tomatoes and vegetables. The flavor is wonderful. This place is busy but very organized and clean. Wish we had one of these close to us in Orlando.

We decided to carry out The Omelette Shop for breakfast in Traverse City. We were not greeted when we came to pickup our order, but we found it on the pickup table. As someone who used to dine-in every family vacation, I was excited to try it again. The food was a bit lackluster, as it felt like we had to add a lot of salt and pepper to each side dish.

The service at this Omelette Shoppe was phenomenal. Emma went above and beyond for our group of 14 people. She was extremely kind, and had such amazing attention to detail, even with several in our group having dietary restrictions and 5 small children. We all left there with fully bellies and thoroughly enjoyed delicious food, feeling well catered to, and all of our needs met. I would definitely return and ask for Emma again when we visit Traverse City in the near future. 10/10

Great local place. The diner feel is good. The "early bird special" for $7 is worth every penny. My personal fav is the Irish Omlette - Swiss, sauerkraut, and really good corned beef brisket. Barbara, Julia, and Josie are fantastic and somehow always in a good mood. G

I got the cinnamon roll French toast and it would have been amazing but the bottom was so burnt on the bottom. Service was very slow for late morning. Nice diner, good lighting, large parking lot, great for breakfast just wish mine wasn't burnt. Waitress didn't come around much so just ate the top.

Sausage Gravy Omelette

Stopped in for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning. Had to wait about 30 minutes. There was a whole section of the restaurant open, however no tables being sat :( I ordered the sausage gravy omelette. It was filled with sausage, eggs, and cheese. It was smothered in a delicious sausage gravy! I paired mine with sourdough bread The waitress was attentive and we had food service.

Get on the waitlist ASAP, this place fills up fast. Not an overly large place but plenty of seating. Service was good, never ran out of drinks. Food was top notch too. German omlette was done well, fluffy and great fillings. The pumpkin pancakes had a pumpkin cream on top. Pancakes were a bit dry, but I didn't want to drown out the pumpkin flavor by pouring syrup over them. A solid choice while in the area!

Goat Cheese Omelette

Visited this restaurant back in January. I read multiple reviews about the place and decided to check it out. It reminds me of a old diner inside. We didn't have reservations and the wait was a bit long. The restaurant was packed to the brim which I always think is a good sign that the food is good. The food was good. The goat cheese omelette was amazing and the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes were even better. First time eating pancakes like that and now I order blueberry lemon ricotta everywhere I go.

Side Chocolate Chip Pcakes & Eggwhite and spinach frittata.

So, I was expecting the food to be slightly overhyped. But, I was definitely wrong. I went with a colleague of mine and we were lucky enough to stop by during their happy hour so, we went all out on the appetizers. We ordered their calamari, the sliders, the beef Korean tacos, and the flat bread. Immediately I was blown away by how fresh the food was. Particularly the Thai calamari. As for the Korean beef tacos- the beef was so tender! The protein on the sliders was tenderloins and those were equally delicious. The flat bread surprised me a bit! Ingredients include hummus, feta cheese, spinach, tomatoes and an additional assortment green veggies. So I was expecting it to be a cold dish but it was actually warm. The bread was exceptionally soft. There was not one mediocre thing that we ordered, everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. The interior isn't much to look at, like I said the restaurant is located inside a hotel. However, with food that tasty who cares about the interior design of a restaurant! If you are ever in traverse city, NOT dinning at the Reflect Bistro will be doing a massive disservice to yourself!

That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow roasted with carrots and onions and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic. The meat was tender and delicious. the gravy was perfect without overpowering. The carrots and onions were a great compliment. Plus the real mashed potatoes were made to perfection. Smooth, yet still had the potatoness to the texture. The taste was one of the better mashed potatoes I've had in TC. I don't know what they do th their TC Cherry Coke, but it is spectacular. Lastly for dessert I got their Lava Cake ($7), it was fine, but disappointing after such a great meal. I don't know if it was from frozen or what. However the texture was a little off andvthe taste was only okay. I wouldn't get it again. The service was very friendly and super helpful. Overall a 4 1/2 star review. Since I have to round, I'm going to forgive the dessert and give a full 5 stars. Would I return? Absolutely. Especially if I'm craving Pot Roast.

I had a wonderful first visit to Sugar to Salt and will definitely be back…read more I ordered the breakfast risotto with a side of the cast-iron cornbread. The risotto was outstanding--loaded with incredibly fresh vegetables, smoky tasso ham, creamy raclette cheese, and one of the best pestos I've ever tasted. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about risotto for breakfast, but it absolutely worked. The cast-iron cornbread was also excellent, especially the honey butter glaze and the whole kernels of corn throughout. The service was warm and friendly, even during a very busy brunch. This is definitely on the pricier side, but I felt the quality of the ingredients, the creativity of the menu, and the care that went into every dish made it worth it. My only food-related criticism was that my poached egg was just slightly overcooked, but it was a very minor issue in an otherwise exceptional meal. My biggest suggestion for improvement would be the acoustics inside the dining room. When the restaurant is busy, the noise level becomes overwhelming and takes away from what is otherwise a fantastic dining experience. I ended up sitting outside, and the patio was peaceful and relaxing. I hope the owners consider adding some acoustic treatment because the food deserves an atmosphere that matches its quality. I'm already looking forward to coming back and trying several other dishes on the menu.

My belly was so happy. The side of Turkey sausage was so good. It's not your basic sausage. They are homemade with roasted onions, leeks, and herbs. This changes every season, which is so exciting. My husband's toast was made with brisket. I tried a bite. The combination of fresh veggies, homemade bread, and brisket was so good. Vanessa was our server. She was so great! So friendly and helpful.
