Buying a bed is a weird experience, curling up to go to sleep in a store surrounded by strangers. BUT Lori Mitchell made it a pleasant and enjoyable experience. We were purchasing a bed for my daughter who has a very specific disability to her joints and finding the right bed was essential to her qualithy of life and well being. Terrible shopping experience. It started off fine until I actually needed to receive my mattress from the warehouse. 1.) My salesperson calls me and tells me that my mattress is not in stock so we would need to reschedule my delivery date. 2.) When my mattress finally arrives they send me the wrong one. When I call my salesperson he tells me that there is nothing he can do for me because he is already losing money on the sale and I'm just going to have to wait on the exchange. 3.)The night that they are finally supposed to exchange the mattress out for the correct one I paid for, they are over an hour late AND they only come to pick up the wrong one without giving me the one I paid for. the only reason i am giving it a 2 star was because the place was clean, I walked in with my husband around 4 PM. There was no other customers but us shopping. We walked around and not a single employee came up to us. Not even a welcome or could i help you with something. They were to busy talking to themselves (not work related) We are all about customer services and this place sucked! Bought my mattress somewhere else and glad i did. They lost a potential customer! Horrible customer service! Was greeted by some grumpy old dude who made us feel worthless. When I asked him about a sale price I saw on line, he told me some excuse about how the price could not be accurate because it would mean the owner would be competing against his other 20 something stores. Huh, you ask? Exactly. No idea what that meant either. I thought they price matched. He started showing us other mattresses that were over our budget. Ended up going to Sleep Train in Rancho Cucamonga. 100% better. Sit n Sleep needs to invest in training as much as they invest in commercials. read more

I did not have a good experience here and would not recommend it to anyone. I needed a low profile box springs and was told they could order it and have it in a couple of weeks. I needed this item for a sick person who has trouble lifting herself up into a high pillow top bed and they just could not help me. I hate the commercials anyway and only came here out of desperation but when they could not help me I found Mattress Liquidators in Ontario and they were great and I got what I needed and even looked at a new mattress set for my husband and myself at a quarter of the price with a ten year non prorated warranty. So ditch sit n sleep and go to Mattress Liquidators first and see the great mattresses and get the best customer service I have seen in thirty years. I have been shopping around for a mattress for myself and my son. I had went to 3 previous places one of which was a sit and sleep in another city. The sales woman was getting me a quote when a previous customer came in wanting to purchase a mattress. The sales woman ensured me it would be quick. An hour later she returned to me tribe me a quote on a mattress she knew I fell in love with. OUTRAGEOUS!!!! She was trying to make her whole years pay on me. We're pretty happy with our bed, however, they suggested we get that $130 mattress cover. Don't buy it, it feels like plastic and makes the bed feel like a babies mattress. The bed sheets are constantly slipping because it's practically plastic. When we called about the return they said all sales are final, really!, I suggest going to Macy's for a better quality mattress cover. read more

My father-in-law was shopping around for a new mattress to help his back pain. We live in Baldwin Park and drove to the near by Sit 'n Sleep in West Covina. The costumer service there was just ok. We then decided to drive out to the Sit 'n Sleep in Ontario. I'm glad we did!! We met Michael Matter and he was wonderful! He has great costumer service and explained everything very well! He had my father-in-law try out different mattresses and explained the differences between each one. He didn't pressure us and gave us plenty of time to make our own decisions. It has been frustrating and deceitful having to wait for almost 3 weeks for a warranty answer in a more than $2,700dlls mattress bought in 2014 just for to get a NO, I am suffering with my neck terribly my husband everyday he doesn't want to go to sleep because he knows he isn't going to have any rest. It is so crazy because I didn't use the warranty in the first place I was looking to buy a new one, but we forgot the place we bought the bad one and we ended in the same place and the manager ask us about our mattress and we said it cost a lot and it was pretty much a new one, so we figured and remembered we bought it in that same place and he told us : the mattress it was really expensive and you are under the warranty, and then we made the proceeds to validate the warranty and I had to call after 3 weeks and they said no, they only make us lose 3 horrible weeks that we had to sleep in that awful mattress is sad because we were already buying a new one they only made us suffer more time in that horror mattress read more

What made this such a great experience was the revolutionary Bed Match System that Sit 'n Sleep has deployed in all its stores to help determine the right bed for you. You put some basic info into the computer then you lie down on the "bed" as you would if you were sleeping. The computer runs scans using that info to give you a color coded result. The sales person then shows you the beds that match that color. Art was my person and he was great. He explained the differences between the different price points and answered all my questions.
