Very accommodating. The store closes at 6 on saturdays and my husband and I had been shopping for hours for a mattress and we walked in at 5:50... yeah, we were those people. Bought an adjustable bed and hate it. Salesman didn't tell, explain or really have an interest in explaining anything nor question why I wanted to downsize. ME, not knowing Cal King to Queen is a huge downsize. Called to explain spoke with store manager, she said come in and she'll work a deal with me. I call BS, not only did she not allow me to return the mattress and pay the difference to upgrade to something I would like but she never tried to work anything out and also had little to no interest to help me. We said let's go for it and purchased the new bed. I had explained to the sales person that we lived in California. He said no problem we deliver there. I said cool. Well to make a long story short. They didn't come to Palmdale area. We didn't find this out until after we got back home. Oh they go to the Valencia area. It's only about 20 minutes up the road from Palmdale . So we went to Sit & Sleep told them what we wanted. We got it. Oh a better mattress plus a much better adjustable Cal King split mattress frame. My husband and I went in to purchase a Tempurpedic neck pillow as a replacement for one that he had had for over 10 years. The salesman (who was also the assistant mgr) pushed the new Symphony style as "the best one out there" and "everyone loves it". So my husband bought it, after specifically asking about exchanges, and was told that it could be exchanged for the other style since they were the same price. He used the pillow for about 2 weeks; it was OK at first and then began to cause serious neck pain. So we tried to exchange it and was told flat out "we don't take returns" by the manager. We were referred to the fine print on the paperwork which did say they didn't take returns, but which was never brought to our attention when we made the purchase. By the way, this was a $130 pillow. I called and spoke with Sit N Sleep's corporate customer service, who evidently spoke with the store and discovered that the person who sold us the pillow is "no longer employed there" so they couldn't verify anything--but they did agree to give us half credit back. Bottom line, make sure you read the fine print and don't assume that anything you're told by the salespeople is accurate or honest. Definitely not impressed and would not buy anything there ever again. read more
