The store itself and the purchase experience were not that bad. The problem was the delivery. I spoke with 3 or 4 different people trying to arrange the delivery at the time they first promised. First, it is almost impossible to get a human being to answer their customer service or delivery department. You eventually get a voice mail saying someone will call you back. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Eventually I was able to speak with people but I got completely different messages from each person and no one seemed to be interested in actually solving the problem. Like most companies they give you a 4 hour time to deliver. I had to completely re arrange my schedule to adjust to their time and had nothing delivered, wasting my Sunday. They eventually apologized and offered delivery for another time "at my convenience" but who is going to trust them again. read more

After reading all the positive reviews we had to see for ourselves. My fiancee had done all the research prior and sure enough once we got to the store a sales associate greeted us and said Jason would be with us shortly. Who is Jason you may ask? Only the store manager and one great guy to do business with. We promptly gave our price range and a brief description of what we were looking for. The layout of the store couldn't have been better, Jason had us lay on one bed and told us to literally just roll over to the next mattress and the next until we found the right one. Sure enough after two rolls we stopped on one and couldn't leave it. We also had a coupon which typically they don't accept on grand opening stores and Jason gave us the discount. We had a great experience and are completely happy, next time your up for a new mattress go to sit n sleep and ask for Jason he'll find you the right mattress to sleep soundly night after night. read more

Having bought a mattress from Sit 'n Sleep for me and my wife at another location, I thought that I'd give the Pasadena location a try in search of a mattress for my parents. As I walked into the store, I was greeted by a nice salesman, named Larry Johnson. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating with shopping space, I was willing to give Larry a chance. After trying out multiple mattresses, he came to my aid and answered every possible question there was. We started talking turkey. Got down to the nitty gritty and negotiated a price. Not only did he surpass the prices that I was expecting, he gave me plenty of extras to supplement my purchase, such as pillows and protective sheet covers. That day was a done deal. Sale made and I walked out of there with a nice mattress and plenty of left-over benjamins in my pocket. I was so satisfied that I came back today and just purchased another mattress for my sister. Bottom line: If you're expecting the typical sleazy salesman, you won't find them at this Sit 'n Sleep. You will find great guys like Larry Johnson who will do whatever it takes to make you happy with the mattress that you want. Great store , great staff! Rafael helped us purchasing our new mattress set and a few other goodies that were recommended. I love my new Tencel sheets and healthy pillow. We spent about two hours in the store but thank goodness Bed Match was invented it really gave me peace at mind along with Rafael's expertise. BEWARE!! Bought an adjustable Sealy Foam bed from Sit N Sleep, Pasadena. The adjustable frame was defective from the beginning as it failed to raise evenly, even at installation. Called store, referred to customer service, tech came out and stated it was a manufacturer's defect, can't be repaired, and should be returned. So far, about one month later, we don't have resolution and we're getting the run around. It needs to be returned to the manufacturer and we need to replace it with something different. DO NOT buy from Sit N Sleep as there is not good customer service responses. Also, the store was NOT helpful. I would purchase from a reputable store and not one that doesn't handle the problems. I'm still waiting for the product to be returned. Bad service. read more

My husband and I had a great experience here! Michael was our sales associate and he was great! He showed us a number of mattresses that would accommodate both of us (he likes a firm one, I prefer a softer one). After that he let us be for awhile to try them out on our own. He wasn't overly pushy at all, it was fantastic! We walked out with a great mattress, that we both like, at a great price!! The first one we choose was out of stock, he worked with us on a price for a different mattress that was in stock. Michael was great all around. The mattress was delivered right at the beginning of the four hour window. Upstairs with a king mattress and it took them about 5 minutes and they were done! Great store, great people! read more

We bought our $1450 bed in 2012 and for the last 4 years I sleep like I am going downhill on the side. There is a huge sag where I sleep and where my husband sleeps with a huge mountain in the middle. We are average sized people, not obese. I have tried memory foam pads, each time getting thicker ones. No help. For a mattress that costs so much (Sealy) I would have hoped it would have been better quality. I had called them around 90 days in and they didn't want to do anything about it. They said the warranty had expired which was not true and they could do nothing about it. The bed was also on sale. I will never go there again. They then had an independent company come out and check the mattress. They did find that it was not right but they denied the claim because of a missing tag. The mattress had the tags it came with, I did not remove any. That is probably why it was on sale. So, now I will let all of my family and friends know not to go there. They are like a meat market for beds. read more

I'm relocating from Orange County and was in the area around 8pm last night and decided to drop by after my roommate informed me of a great deal she had gotten at another location. I'm the type of person who feels bad about going into places an hour before they closed, but I figured I'd stop by quickly just to check out the deals they had. In less than 30 minutes I had walked out of the door purchasing a mattress, box spring, and bed frame with delivery & tax for close to $500!! As a graduate student I was thrilled, you can't beat prices like that. Jose helped me last night and was fantastic. He had the store all to himself and still managed to provide superior service to the four different groups that were there late last night. Had a great experience buying a new mattress here, helped by their assistant manager, Joe Ryan. I'm not sure of any other mattress store that would first have me and my wife lay on a test mattress filled with scales and sensors to determine our individual sleeping needs. From there Joe was able to determine the best possible mattress and bed type for our posture and body weight distribution, and showed us several options that would suit our sleep needs and budget. While the bed set we ended up going with was above what we had hoped to spend (like double, ha ha), Joe did give us a great price for what we got . Did online comparative shopping while in store and found Sit n Sleep was offering the bed set we liked several hundred dollars cheaper then anyone else. We also got free delivery and haul away for our old mattress. I would highly recommend anyone in the market for bedding to visit. A very informative and pleasant shopping experience. read more

My husband & I, are so satisfied with our New King Mattress, Adjustable Base, Headboard, Sheets, Mattress protectors and GEL Cooling Pillows!!!! And it is all thanks to Jose Gaeta! When you are there, you Must ask for him!! He was so helpful in recommending & showing us all the beds their Test bed recommended. Gave us a lot of useful information on each one and he took his time. We did not feel pressured or rushed to buy at all, we actually left and came back a week later to do our purchase. He gave us a great deal and even called a week later to see how everything worked out. I did tell him about a small issue with the adjustable bed and headboard, but he emailed CS and they called me right away to send another tech to take care of the problem. The CS was just as helpful and resourceful as Jose! CS made sure to take care of our minor issue and the tech that finally installed our headboard was amazing as well! My first review! I'm more of a foodie and techie but I wanted to review Sit 'n Sleep first. I went in, to be honest, to just try different types of beds, memory foam v. latex v. traditional springs. I was hoping to find the best deal at a small, local mattress store or Costco, maybe Amazon, but turns out Sit 'n Sleep fit my needs perfectly. Much of my positive experience had to do with my salesperson, Ila. She was extremely patient with me. I came in 3-4 times looking, trying multiple beds, etc. I just think mattresses are expensive and I just wanted to be sure I made a good decision. I had a great experience with Pasadena SitNSleep on South Lake. Last year I went to the store, wanting to replace an old mattress. I was overwhelmed by the wide variety of brands and choices. The Store manager, Vicki Rogers, was fantastic to deal with and helped me through the whole process. I went into the store three times and tried a zillion mattresses and she never got tired of me once. I finally decided on an Aireloom Plush. Over the past 9 months, it was definitely the wrong choice for me as a side sleeper. I noticed some marked depressions and had the mattress inspected and the manufacturer worked with SitNSleep and I got my money refunded through a very hassle free process. I went back to the store last week and Vicki once again was fabulous to work with; she instantly gave me store credit for the Airelooom and guided me though buying a firmer product that (hopefully) will give me comfort and ease. She also gave me a great deal on in introductory adjustable frame. SitNSleep is a great company to deal with and Vicki is the person to see. Highly recommended...... read more
