The store manager (can't remember his name) assisted us in finding the right mattress. I've been shopping around for hybrid mattresses for some months now and haven't really found anyone to help me out in making a decision. He was helpful and informative. At first he suggested a tempurpedic but neither of us liked how it felt. He was not only helpful but he would also give us space and time in order to discuss the other options he suggested. He never seemed pushy. When we finally did make the right decision for the mattress we purchased, he assisted us in finding a mattress cover and the sheets that would fit because the mattress is 16 inches deep. Do I think that I needed to purchase those items from the store? Prob not but it was easy to have it be a one stop shop. Sit and sleep does offer a 10 year warranty on the mattress as long as there are no stains at all. Even if it's a sweat stain or water stain that leaves a small drop he said that the warranty would be invalid, which is why we purchased the mattress cover from sit 'n sleep itself. read more

We fell in love with a Tempur-pedic mattress with adjustable base and ended up purchasing it. Monday we went to the Studio City store, I was expecting pushy salespeople, so we were just going to look. We entered with our masks in place, they had hand sanitizer on a table upon entering. We were lucky to have Wayne welcome us, and take us through the shopping process. We were given many options, and he did not push the most expensive beds. Very professional, calm, and kind. He explained the pros and cons of each mattress we tried, but the choice was ours. The Labor Day Sale price is great, we purchased our mattress, box spring, protective covering, sheets and pillows. Again, our choice, no pressure. The whole process was 1/2 hour! We arranged delivery for Wednesday, and that went perfect. The delivery men called before they came, took the old mattresses and set up the new ones, applied the protective cover, and took away all the wrappings. They were very professional, careful, and pleasant. Last night was our first on our new bed, what a joy! So comfortable, great choice. The experience was WAY better than I expected, and I would recommend the Studio City store if you need bedding, and if you can work with Wayne Hargreaves you will be happy. read more

I've been looking for a Queen size mattress all over Southern California. I was supposed to go the LA mattress store next door but went here instead. I won't lie, the mattress we ended up with is very comfortable. That being said, the experience of buying it wasn't great. We felt very pushed towards the more expensive models, despite saying several times we liked a cheaper one. And they were very big on the upsell for the mattress protector and ventilation boards. As it turns out we don't actually need the ventilation boards, and their return policy for everything but mattresses is no-returns. My husband and I came back to sit and sleep today to replace our almost 4 year old Aireloom. We love love love our aireloom, but for whatever reason, the mattress sagged in both sides. Thankfully, we passed the warranty inspection and were given the opportunity to pick a replacement. Kat helped us pick the exact same mattress lolll but it was helpful for her to validate the reasons we loved it so much. She also educated us on the mattress adjustable expander which we didn't know about. It adjusts your mattress up and down to relieve pressure off your body.
