KAT WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH!!! Shopping for a new mattress can be daunting to say the least. For me, it is my least favorite thing to do. I would probably rather put pins in my eyes! In many other mattress shops, the experience felt sleazy, like I was being conned by an old school, greasy, used car salesman. Not to mention that the mattress business is dominated by men, so if you're a woman shopping for a mattress you might find yourself condescended to, oversold or flat out ignored. So while I would normally give this and all of the other Sit n Sleep shops a 3 star or less eating, my experience shopping at this store was made EXPONENTIALLY BETTER by the excellent customer service I received from Kat. She was patient, respectful, informative and funny. She helped make our initial purchase almost enjoyable. Cleat and Patricia hit it out of the park for me and my fiancé!!!!! This was the most amazing experience we've ever had shopping for ANYTHING period!!! As if apartment hunting/moving into one isn't hard enough, shopping for new furniture is equally exhausting and can be very confusing and overwhelming...especially when it comes to a new mattress! Me and my fiancé both have bad backs, and required the perfect/close to perfect mattress in order to not wake up with severe back pain and to get the rest that we need after a very long day of work. After visiting several other mattress stores/testing out more than 30+ mattresses, we had narrowed down the exact mattress that we wanted. However, only one of those other stores was able to give us the lowest price! We thought that no one else could beat this price, until we decided to visit sit n sleep and test out their slogan (Sit n sleep will beat anyone's advertised price or your mattress is freeeeeeeeeee! Lol) and to see whether or not they really stand behind that! Well, let me tell you, not only did they beat the lowest price that we had found ($400 discount on a $1,600 mattress), but from the minute we walked in, we were taken care of like family! We first met with Cleat who came up to us with a warm and genuine smile, and truly addressed all of our questions and concerns! He even had us do the mattress test on this cool machine they have which narrows down the exact mattress that you need based on your height, weight, sleeping position, etc...and also a combination of me and my fiances sleeping styles/position/requirements! You could really tell that he truly was concerned not just about selling us any mattress, but helping us find the right one!!! Then we dropped the bomb on him about the price that we had been quoted from another store for the mattress we wanted. After speaking to his manager Patricia, they surprised us even more by BEATING that price!!!! We stayed there for hours shopping for other things, pillows, covers, etc... We even ended up ordering pizza together and having lunch like one big family!!! Patricia and Cleat were truly amazing!!!! Both sweethearts, genuine, caring, attentive and just awesome!!!! I will never go to any other mattress store...or any other sit n sleep store except this one! I can truly say, also speaking on my fiances behalf, that a major reason why we purchased our mattress here and not anywhere else was because of the treatment and the type of customer service that Cleat and Patricia showed us!!!! Even if they weren't able to beat the price, we would still buy it from them because we just loved how genuine and awesome they both were!! I purchased a mattress from this store 3 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately, the mattress had a defect. From the time I called to notify, to the time it was checked was just 4 days. I went into the store and was immediately greeted by Peter. He checked on the credit I was to receive and then assisted me in finding the mattress. Naturally, the price of the mattress had increased substantially. I told Peter I was a teacher on a limited budget and half jokingly asked for the "poor teacher discount." My wife and I came in just to see what we could be considering for our new mattress, not expecting to buy, and Wayne was more than happy to just give us information, and help us know what we should be looking for in a mattress. He invited us to the Bed Match scanner, which was a very cool way to easily narrow down what you should even consider. We were so impressed by Wayne, and so pleased by what we had learned, that we bought our new mattress right then and there. Joe Romero (Store Manager) was very helpful and honest when it came to finding me a new mattress. He wasn't pushy at all and was very patient. If you have the time, see Joe and let him give you the run down on all the mattresses they offer in store. Make sure you get what you pay for and if you are on the cusp of getting a better quality mattress tell Joe what you want and he will make a deal with you. This was one of the better mattress buying experience for me. I walked into sit 'n sleep and was fortunate enough to be the only customer in the store, so I was immediately greeted by Wayne! I knew I needed a new mattress, but wasn't sure what I wanted/needed since it was my first time buying my own mattress. He walked me through the process of how we pick out the perfect one with me starting off with the assessment test machine. From that point on, he showed me all the mattresses that fit best for me and explained each one very thoroughly. Of course I fell in love with one and my mind was set so he explained all the different features and additions I could add.
