Emmy is very high maintenance but Amanda will do everything and more with no complaints. And for a very fair price. Emmy loves going to Amanda's because she knows she will be cared for and attended to. Amanda knows each dog by name and personality, and she is always patient, attentive, and professional. She will send photo updates throughout the day so I can see our little Emmy having fun with the other dogs. Amanda's space is clean, safe, and spacious for all dog sizes. Emmy always comes home tired but happy which is great for her and us. I can't recommend enough.

They were not even…read moreaware of the incident until after my girlfriend picked him up too which would mean there is a lack of supervision or they just simply chose not to inform me during his stay. If I had picked him up myself, I would have examined him before leaving Pamela's place. However, my girlfriend, who does not own any pets, was doing me a favor and picked him up and didn't think to check him before leaving. Once I found out what had happened, I promptly addressed the situation with Pamela. To which Pamela offered to dress the wound and provide a refund, these things I would have been perfectly fine with. However, as you can see from our text message exchanges, it's clear that bringing my dog back to her care is was not a viable option. Accusing me of harming my own dog is an outrageous claim that no one in their right mind would tolerate, and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable entrusting my dog to her again. She made it seem like I don't care for my dog to the point I would intentionally worsen his wound. If I didn't genuinely care for my dog's well-being I wouldn't have chosen what I believed to be a highly-rated dog daycare (based off other Google reviews). And while I understand that accidents can happen, especially among dogs, what truly disappoints me is the lack of accountability and the absence of any apology from Pamela or even the owner of the dog that attacked mine. It is also baffling that I had to even raise this issue with her, considering that supervising the dogs should have been her responsibility. It's literally what she's hired to do. Additionally, Pamela's attitude throughout this ordeal has been quite unpleasant. She kept throwing a personal situation I was going through that even required me to rely on her services for an emergency in my face which was quite unpleasant. Especially when she didn't even know fully what was going on and that it was a baseless claim. Additionally, the owner did provide $100 towards the vet bill, but there is still an outstanding balance. As the wound required dressing and my dog had to be given medication to prevent infection. These additional expenses were not covered by the amount offered, further adding to my frustration but at this point its no use in pursuing further and I had wanted to give her time to rectify the situation before resorting to a negative review. But unfortunately, she has chosen to ignore all my messages, leaving me with no choice but to warn others who may find themselves in a similar situation and need an emergency dog sitter. It's important to know that not everything is as it seems, and there may be a lack of proper procedures in place at Pamela Loves Pets.

I contacted Dog days & Cat naps. I was surprised when the owner JP answered the phone. After a long conversation , all he had available on short notice was a 30 min drop in session with Lora. I couldn't be happier with her services. She was on time and followed what we talked about to the exact point. Because we had back to back trips I had to schedule a 3 hr in house pup- sitter. This time we had Kourtney she was always on time. She played, walked and gave Solo hugs and cuddles for their time together. Both Lora and Kourtney were great with Solo. I wouldn't hesitate to use either one for future sitting or walking. After each visit we received a report along with pics. I have glad to have found this company!!! Thanks JP and your staff!! I called my vet only to find out they no longer do boarding. But they recommended Happy Hounds. After checking out Happy Hounds online, I called and had the pleasure of speaking to the owner, Brian. He explained I needed to create an account online and once established, I could make a reservation for Molly (THE sweetest Yorkie ever!)..Brian further advised that the first visit is always free! Now that is a real tail-wagger lol. I also told Brian that Molly is a little shy around other dogs and he said he'd keep her up at the front counter with him. The next morning I woke up before sunrise to what sounded like giants stomping on my roof. Molly started a barking spree which I knew would not stop until my roof my done! So we headed to Happy Hounds on Beach Blvd. Brian and a very friendly dog greeted us. I could see and hear many dogs just having a great time in the open area. You have to smile when you see dogs running around like kids on a playground at recess! Brian reassured me he would keep Molly up front with him so she'd be close to a human. (I don't know if it's a Yorkie thing, but she likes to be near or on a person at all times!) I noticed that Happy Hounds is arranged in such a way that you don't need to worry about your precious pup escaping and exploring while there. The neat thing is, you can still see the dogs while they are kept safe. I picked Molly up around 1 PM and there she was, still safe behind the counter - happy, and hanging out with a shy Poodle. Happy Hounds entrance has fencing and a gate similar to what you see around swimming pools...the open metal bars and you have to push down on a knob for the gate the open/close. The gate automatically swings shut once you are inside. I was a little concerned about the location as it's right off of busy Beach Blvd. The fenced access is a great touch. When we were leaving, little Molly did slip through the bars and so she was outside while I was still inside the gate. But I had her on a leash, so everything was OK. Just wanted to mention this in case you have a 10 pounds or less pooch! Thank you Happy Hounds for taking such good care of Molly! You saved her (and me!) from what would have been an extremely stressful day.
