My favorite noodle dish is Pad Thai flavors shrimp Shrimp in lobster sauce was a little soupy, good flavor, omitted peas, added mushrooms. Zucchini beef in garlic sauce, spicy, ratio beef to zucchini is 1 to 5 tender good flavor size of broccoli beef :( Jade garden spring roll is the size of lumpia, my finger, I don't t think anything compared to finger size is a good thing, lumpia is 20 for $5 this $1 per finger roll Combination Spring roll cabbage veggies normal size large finger to thumb size Egg drop soup is , wonton soup with marinated pork is wonderful makes me want the fried wantons, Sweet and sour soup tofu, no meat They will not make fried eggs over easy for your fried rice. Got takeout at Jade Garden. It's very close by and in a convenient location. There is lots of parking. Recently, they must have changed owners or something because the decor completely changed. We ordered the chicken and broccoli combo and beef and green beans combo. I was very disappointed with the wonton soup because it lacked flavor. It was just me slurping egg whites. The hot and sour soup had more flavor and kick to it. It had mushrooms and tofu too. Overall, the main dishes could have more seasoning or flavor. The gravy for chicken and broccoli was lacking and could have been thicker. I also think there was more rice than main dish but maybe that was the shape of the container alluding to that. read more

They lost my first order when I called in, so did the order again while there, no other customers were in the establishment so not busy , ordered again while there and still got it wrong , wrong soup given, then my main dish which was Shrimp with cashews was mainly diced carrots and celery with maybe 15 very small shrimp and 2 tablespoons of cashews. Very disappointed and will not be back soup was very bland , and as I said wrong , I had ordered egg drop and wonton mixed and only got egg drop. Plus charged incorrectly and had to pay an extra 5.00 because of the wrong price which I didn't mind, mistakes happen but when I pay close to 24.00 for chopped up carrots and celery then I have a problem. Impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. We both had versions of garlic sauce (a sliced chicken with added vegetables and a shrimp/eggplant) so I'm looking forward to trying more items next time. They have a pretty decent buffet with quite a few American food choices, Asian (of course), fresh salad and a dessert table. I've never had a bad meal from here, nor have I ever gotten sick from food borne illnesses. The service is, sometimes, a bit nonchalant/laid back. Just here for one year, love Chinese food. Jade Garden is my go-to Chinese dishes spot which is much better than any Chinese restaurant in this town. First, in terms of food, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes, which are sorted according to their origin. Flavors are on point. I like this restaurant also because of its environment. whenever you go to there it is clean as always and various Chinese traditional decorations are always thoughtfully arranged in different places. Nonetheless,the service there were pretty outstanding in my opinion. They were pretty friendly and funny sometimes. and finally when it comes the price,it couldn't be more reasonable. Nicer than your typical take-out joint, you'll always find elderly folks dining in from the Inman Grove Senior Citizen Residence right across the street. They have great lunch special deals. I loveeee jade garden not only are the SUPER quick they veggies are SUPER fresh!! I lovee the shrimp in fresh garlic when I want to be healthy! As others have said this is pretty much your a-typical american style chinese joint (and those of us with a jewish upbringing know it well - ahem, for occasions such as Xmas). Nothing spectacular and nothing bad - very much well executed food just sort of ho hum (They never make anything spicy enough (when requested) so just prepare to add your own heat if that is your preference). Service is always good and usually pretty swift (they can get mega busy in the take out arena at times). I usually go with the Jade Garden Chow Mein - unlike many places it isn't onion mush, lots of good crunchy veggies and a nice mix of proteins. read more
