Incredible experience. The service was phenomenal and you cannot beat the stunning views of Cayuga Lake. Very peaceful and comfortable winery. The complimentary charcuterie board with the tasting was a beautiful and delicious touch. Excellent wines and very knowledgeable staff. Very unique experience overall and extremely glad we stopped here.

We stopped when we were in the area and it's definitely a different kind of wine experience for several reasons. One is that they use a combination of material and vessel types to process the wines which offers much different and unique finishes than other wineries. These processing methods represent more of the old world/ ancient wine making flavors. Another cool thing here is that they make a wonderful artisan, locally sourced charcuterie/ snack board included in the price of your tasting which is a nice bonus. They were able to accommodate gluten free as well which was also a plus. I will say that their experience is meant to be chill and not rushed. If there is no one there you would need to plan at least an hour to be safe. It was nice to not be rushed but I am a slower eater/ drinker and 45- 60 minutes to enjoy 5 wine samples and a snack board was too long, even for me. Our server would stop by every so often and then we would just be sitting there waiting for quite while until she came back with our next glass. We got a little antsy in between tastes. If you went with a few people and planned for the time you needed and weren't starving you could treat it like a mini dinner party. Our server was very sweet and friendly but she did not give us a lot of insight about the wine. It would have been nice to know more about them since they do things differently here. I was with my significant other and we were able to try a total of 10 wines which was a treat. Some of them were definitely more off the beaten path and that was fine with us. However, I will mention the server's expression and comments about some of the choices didn't set us up with imagery for a great new wine. For example one she said something along the lines of this isn't what you would just hang out and drink on the couch, it kind of smells like a barn. I totally get what she meant but it wasn't the best sales pitch of the products and who wants to ingest the aroma of a barn? The Pet- Nat's were a neat thing to try when you visit. During nice weather there is indoor and outdoor seating.

Such a cute winery with beautiful views of the lake! For $25 you get 8 wine tastings and they throw in a free personal charcuterie board as well!! I love the modern feel inside of the winery and the fact that there is plenty of seating inside and outside by the lake as well. Our server was very nice and attentive as he explained the different wines we tasted. Overall and great and relaxing experience. Will definitely be back to pick up another wine bottle from them!

My husband and I happened to be in town when the new tasting room opened. We actually learned of Six Eighty Cellars from a blind tasting we did at Once. The tasting was more expensive than many, but included a nice charcuterie board and a diverse menu. My husband and I split 2 tastings so we could each try much of the menu. My favorite by far was the Cab Sauv Pet Nat. Our server was nice, but didn't go the extra mile, which is what sets some FLX wineries apart from others even when the wine is on the better side (as is the case here). I would've loved to hear more about the winery and wines from her vs reading on my own from the materials provided. I'd definitely be open to trying this winery again on a future trip to see if I have a different experience.

Look how they make the wine!

So we did a wine tour. This was our favorite place. The decor is awesome. It's such a cool looking place. We got to sit in the back where the magic happens. Our guide dazzled us with all the different ways they were making the wine. Explaining all the materials they use and why. They explained what grapes are used when and why and how both things effect the taste. This place had the most knowledgeable staff of all the places we went that day. They were prepared and knew their shit. You have to go there to see the vessels they use. Now they don't do sweet wines, so if your my mom and you just want some adult Welches you won't like it. If we venture to the finger lakes again we probably won't do a wine tour. We'd just go to this place.

Ambiance fantastic. Food limited choices but good. Worst service ever- took over an hour to prepare and serve four drinks!

We went to several wineries in the area while on vacation in the Finger Lakes and this was by far the best.
