Fright Fest 2016 review If you are looking for something scary as in at least more scary than for a 8 year old, the haunted houses here are NOT IT. Hungry and expect to be able to eat at some point in the evening? Be ready to wait 1 hour 20 minutes for pizza. The people working there didn't have anything in either pizza oven. Then put in four pepperoni pizzas and no cheese pizzas, then they had no cheese bread and weren't thinking ahead to keep the oven full. No pudding, no meatball subs all out. Scare zones are the only places that have good costumes for the most part but they are not truly trying to scare anyone. Cost $33 (with season pass or $35) for VIP (less waiting) for unlimited for the haunted houses for only one night. There weren't really any lines because the haunted houses weren't so hot. No option to have a pass for the whole fright Fest season. NJ Great Adventure six flags had that option and Fantastic haunted houses. Size flags St Louis has a lot they could learn from them! Haunted Houses: wreckers salvage- ride through hayride type with three fire explosions, the first two so intense it singes your hair. Pretty long ride but only 4 scare actors who are too few to scare and don't do much. This is good for ages 4 and up scare factor Blind Fury- the best of them all, still not fabulous and not many actors. Twisted toys good props. Age 8 and up still not scary Slaughter house- not many actors, walk through, not many props only good thing was a shaking cage you walk into. Age 5 and up for scare factor. Night Frights- pretty much as scary as anyone's basement with a few Halloween decorations and props. Hardly any actors to scare anyone. Age 5 and up for scare factor Kamp Kilamore- cool idea but poorly executed. Not enough people to scare. Ok effects. Age 8 and up scare factor. Blackout- pitch black maze. In a nutshell, not scary enough, not worth the money, definitely not worth the money for the speedpass if you do want to see the haunted houses. Shows were ok. Love at first fright was the best with good songs and funny show. If anything go for the shows and the rides when they are working correctly. read more

This place is a money trap, stay away. I was seriously baffled that it cost me $63 to get in, and another $20 just to park!!! They also pretty much charging you to ride some rides too, because to have to rent a locker because you are more than likely carrying a bag of some sort, and they will not allow you to bring it on the ride with you?!?!?!?! The staff and food were just as terrible as well. Workers had no idea what the hell they were doing, I waited probably 25 minutes for a funnel cake. I also ordered a Sprite and the flavoring or whatever needed changed so I went up and they offered me another drink, so I got a coke. I go and sit back down and the thing is flat as shit. I really just didn't wanna bother anymore, and I ended up just throwing it away. I must say it was nice with the lines not being too long though. I went on a Thursday. They were running two trains on most things. I was very pleased I barely had to wait for anything, even though most of the coasters and rides were subpar to me. Here is my summary of the (dry) thrill rides. Hopefully it will help you prioritize your wait times. These are in in order of quality: Mr. FREEZE: Short and sweet but definitely the most fun/exciting. Superman Tower of Power: Quick ride (one drop) but awesome view at the top and the fact that they hold you up there for several seconds adds to the thrill. Screamin' Eagle: Quality wooden coaster that's not too rough. The Boss: Modern wooden coaster that's longer than it seems. It's definitely fun but a bit jarring. Batman: Smooth ride but all the turns and loops can make you dizzy Ninja: Low on thrill and high on dizziness. Sky swing: After 4pm they swing you backwards, which is awful. I'm sure it's more fun going forwards but I didn't get a chance to try. Unfortunately I didn't get to ride Boomerang or American Thunder which both seem alright. read more

Ghetto Disneyland For Christmas we all got season passes so we went on opening day. The Park was constantly on the up sell. I brought a small backpack for water, keys and camera. Found out we couldn't bring it on to some of the rides without putting into $1 locker. Its a dollar per ride, so we put our stuff back in the car instead. Up sells on photos, food and parking all day long got old real fast. The Arcade had a bunch of impossible claw machines... and I stared at the PlayStation 4 one for several minutes before ruling it was impossible without anything for the hook to grab on. The park felt dirty and was under maintained. Cracks in the concrete didn't make me feel safe. Batman was a great ride but our favorite was the Superman. I did like the park it just needs a bit of sprucing up. The people who worked there were happy and as upbeat as one would expect from this park. I had high expectations and was disappointed, but made the best of it. Going there again because I have a season pass. read more

I've been going here for over 25 years and still do because it is close. I'm a huge amusement park fan and have been to some of the best parks for coasters in the country, so I may have my expectations too high. I don't often get a chance to ride any of the big rides, but if I did, I would get bored fairly quick. Six Flags St. Louis is in desperate need of a top steel coaster. They have several woodys that are decent, but the newest steel coaster they got this year was recycled from another park that was popular about 20 years ago. They may claim to be the coaster capital of Missouri, but there isn't a lot of competition. If I was out of state, I would not make a special trip to come here. So the lack of quality coasters is my major gripe with SFSL. Now, I do like the water park if you can get past the ickyness of waterparks. You know, the occational fake fingernail, floating band aid or a kid vomitting in the water. They have pretty good slides and the kid section is nice. I actually like hanging out there because the water is always cold even on a hot day. The park is clean and is great for people of all ages. I have young children and there is plenty to do with them. The Looney Toons section is enjoyable to hang out with the kids and has a lot of shaded areas protected from the hot sun. I continue to get season passes here because they are affordable and I just enjoy the atmosphere of a theme park, however it is time for some of the older rides to move on and they need to invest in a great coaster that will draw people in from out of state. read more

I've been to several parks across the US, Six Flags, knots berry Farms, etc. this is definitely the best and cleanest that I've visited. Most employees you come across are super friendly (almost to the point of annoyance... Probably me being grumpy). They have hurricane harbor water park which is a huge water park. Almost like Big Surf at Lake of the Ozark, but you can ride the normal rides as well. They now have a paint ball area as well. It's $20 to park and most things are expensive to buy. This place specializes in finding ways to rip you off when you arrive with children who are expecting to go to six flags. They have gotten me two years in a row now. Last year, I forgot our season pass cards, and they charged me $20 each to 'replace' them for the day. This year, my wife bought new 2018 season passes in the fall of 2017, with the promise of free parking. I arrived today to use them, and it turns out there was some kind of fine print that we didn't get the free parking unless we came out to pick them up in November 2017. I pointed out to the manager that I have young children, and ripping me off for $25 today probably wasn't a revenue maximizing decision. He said "That's our policy." So, wow! Now, I can either choose to pay $25 for parking each time I go this summer (and be annoyed and feel ripped off each time), or I can not go (which is my plan), and have my last memory of six flags be getting ripped off. Either way, what might have been a $2,000-$4,000 net revenue stream over the next 6 years just collapsed to zero. Its a really strange business decision, but that is just the way they do business. I've said it before and I'll say it again. It sure does help to have low expectations. I must preface this by stating that I am a complete coaster geek. I never would have expected to enjoy the coasters at SF STL as much as I did. We arrived at the park at 6pm - only four hours until closing. It currently costs $20 after 4pm, so arriving late was always the plan, just not that late. I wasn't worried, though. I was counting on the lines being short and boy were they ever. All of the coasters were one or two train waits. Ironically (for me anyway), the longest line was for the Superman freefall ride. We were able to finish all of the coasters plus a couple of flat rides in a little over three hours. There was also a glow-in-the-dark parade around 9pm. It was somewhat fun to watch, but something more aimed at the kiddies. Finally, I avoided spending any extra money at the park, but my cousin got a couple of turkey legs and they were absolutely delicious! On to my coaster reviews. As usual, I rode every coaster in the back row. I just prefer it. Evel Knievel - An extremely fun compact woodie. You'll love its relentless speed throughout the course. A great start to the evening. Mr. Freeze - An aging LIM-launched coaster that's somewhat fun going forward, but a bit of a headbanger in reverse. I appreciated the design of the dual-loading station. I also like the set of LIMs that give you that necessary extra bit of height on the vertical spike before dropping you in reverse. The Boss - A large woodie with good length. This coaster is boss! I absolutely loved the first drop; you get a nice little surprise at the bottom. Yes it is a very bumpy ride, but that did not detract from the experience for me. I even rode it two more times at the end of the night. Screamin' Eagle - An aging woodie that still provides a fun ride. I appreciated its simple but elegant single out-and-back design. Because there are minimal turns, the train maintains a good constant speed throughout. River King Mine Train - Your basic mine train ride. This ride is pretty horrible, but what park is complete without a run-of-the-mill runaway mine train coaster? Ninja - A sad remnant of the late 80s/early 90s when Arrow Dynamics seemed to rule the roost. I say avoid this ride. At least with Viper at SF Magic Mountain, you get speed and height. All you get with Ninja are four lousy inversions. There is a cool ninja statue outside with some interesting Heinz Ketchup signs in the queue area. Batman - The classic B&M inverted coaster clone. If you haven't ridden one of these, you must have never been to a Six Flags park; you should ride this coaster. If you're like me and know exactly where each element is during the ride, you can probably skip it. Tony Hawk's Big Spin - A fun spinning coaster. I've actually never been on a spinning coaster before and I really enjoyed this one. The ride itself is pretty tame, but a great group activity! As far as the flat rides go... Superman: Tower of Terror - Your basic freefall ride. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Rush Street Flyer - Not even sure why we rode this. read more

I get pumped evert time I go to Six Flags. I also recommend Hurricane Harbor, Six Flags' free water park. My favorite ride is The Joker. I would recommend it if you are staying in St. Louis for vacation. Also stay in Jellystone Park next door. I have so many childhood memories there. read more

Perhaps I should start this off by saying that I have been a fan of of this place since I was a child and would go to the park all the time with my family (of course getting a season pass!). However, I think it started to change as a I got older and discovered that this was a money pit and I could spend it elsewhere. Now, I still do like this place but I've begun to find that if your going to nickle and dime people it starts to lose it's lusty shine. The good: -The park is clean and well maintained! -The workers that I have seen for the most part of friendly, there are some whom could take a few classes and not be so snotty to people when they don't know the rules. However, that is easily overlooked in the grand scheme. -The rides (while, i realize this is Missouri) are as good as we can get. I like most of them. (there are some that i refuse to get on because of how I feel after getting off of them. I'm taking about YOU Xcalibur!) -The water park is good too, even if I don't really go to the park to use it. The bad: -The nickle and dining of people. Seriously why can't everyone just wait in line like the rest of us. Sorry, I'm not forking out another 40 bucks on top of the expensive food, parking and goodies. I know that is my fault and I guess I'll just wait in line. Visited: August 3rd, 2011 Rob and I went this Six Flags location with his brother Michael and his family, Kayla, and Petey. It was hot on the day that we went with a peak temperature at 96 degrees with a heat index (humidity) of 102 degrees. I made the mistake of wearing pants and layered tank tops that day. I felt miserable as soon as I entered the park. The park looks small from the freeway, but really isn't as soon as you enter the park. The admission for the park is as follows: general admission - $46.99, children under 48" - $36.99, and children 2 and under - FREE. The Six Flags Los Angeles (in Valencia, CA) that I've been to countless times has the same admission prices for the 48" and under and 2 and under children, but is $15 more for the general admission. The rides are slightly different than the ones at the Six Flags near me, but still pretty fun. The St. Louis location is a much cleaner and well-maintained park and has friendly staff than the Los Angeles location, which makes it worth the money spent in terms of experience. Overall, I had a good time at this park, and I cannot wait to go back. Next time, I will wear shorts. Lesson learned. :) read more

All I can say is I LOVE the MR FREEZE ride. The atmosphere is good and enjoyed the park. I did get yelled at by some old geezer that worked there for going out the wrong exit... I should of slapped him off his stool but I was tired and just walked away. All he had to say was, "Excuse me ma'am" but know he felt the need to yell. But he was old and worked at an amusement park so I let it go. Other than that I do like the parking. It's easy to get in and out. read more

It's been nearly a decade since I have been here and I visited the park on Saturday with my 10 year old daughter. All in all, we had a good time, she loved the variety of rides and coasters that are here but we were both disappointed in the rough condition the three wood coasters were in. Mind you, were are both enthusiasts and have been on wood coasters at many different parks, so we understand they will never be as smooth as a steel coaster - but even with that in mind, they coasters here were quite jarring. We love the Sky Screamer swing ride, Batman, and most of all Pandemonium - we rode that one multiple times and laughed all the way. We utilized the Flash Pass option (costs $94 total for two people) and were able to virtually skip all the lines for the "big" attractions. The lines were (as expected) long when we went (almost all coasters were well over an hour). If it was my home park, I'd never pay that much for the use of a flash pass, but when I only have 5-6 hours at a park that I don't get to but once in a decade, I reluctantly plopped down the cash to be able to hit all the rides in that amount of time. All the ride operators were friendly and the park was very clean. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY !!! A Terrible, Terrible Disappointment. Six Flags in Eureka has truly gone to hell in a hand-basket. Several of the rides are closed, and even the ones that are open - such as roller coasters - only send out one car at a time instead of two. This of course means the lines are twice as long as they should be. Apparently, the owners are far too cheap to keep their park maintained properly, or to keep an adequate staff on hand. (The park is ridiculously under-staffed. Many of the kiosk and carnival games were closed too, because they were no employees there to even wait on anyone). As if all of that wasn't bad enough, apparently, if there is even so much as a rain shower anywhere between St. Louis and Kansas City or Springfield, they will use that as an excuse to shut the whole park down. Seriously, the day my family was there, everything shut down for over an hour, for a phantom rain storm that never came (there wasn't even a cloud in the sky - literally !!!) It's sad to see how much this place has deteriorated in the last few years. I for one, will never go back, or waste a dime of my hard-earned money there ever again. read more

We have Six Flags season passes, and if you plan on getting some yourself, pick them up here, as it's almost half the price of getting it at Six Flags Great America. 6 of us went to Fright night on Sat, Oct. 19 we went to the ticket window to purchase 2 tickets, the rest of us had season tickets. We asked for the 2 tickets was told it was $109.??, Gave the cashier a 100.00 and a 50.00 bills, watched the cashier use a counterfeit pen on the the 100.00 only, seen her lay the 50.00 on top of the drawer and only got back the coin change, she short changed us $40.00. Called for a supervisor her name is Dawn, asked for a count down on the till, they wouldn't do it then, said they could later and call us either way to let us know how it turned out never got that phone call. Called back 3 days later was told they would investigate the situation and call me back either way, never got that phone call either. Called back 10 days again explained the whole story again was told they were not going to argue about it there tills were all correct that day! Amazing how they can rip you off just like that! HOT MESS! The 2 stars are given to just the rides which are top notch and it was good to see how many exciting rides have been added since I was there last 8 years ago. If you are going just for the rides and can wear blinders for everything else it's 5 star. The only good thing is the rides. The bad... what the heck has happened to the park??? It's dilapidated, weeds taking over, and pavement cracked. The place looks like a dump. I remember how nice it used to look waiting in lines and daydreaming staring at the pretty plants and flowers. There is zero resources being spent on the park itself. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Theme park bathrooms aren't expected to be sparkly clean but these bathrooms were just gross. Its sad when a 9 year old kid is horrified. And the food service and arcade staff don't even want to be working. It was a challenge to get any of them to get you food or darts for a game. The fudge shop may have been the worst with 3 workers standing around chit chatting while a line is forming. New management or maybe even some management is greatly needed at that park. It's starts to make you wonder how safe the rides are when the park isn't even being taken care of. Silver Dollar City isn't that far away and I hate to say it but The entire day I kept comparing how "let go" Six Flags looks as compared to SIlver Dollar City. read more

I never went so often in a month until I started going with some school friends almost once a week... The daily pass prices got to me and I finally got a 2011 season pass for less aggravation from me and friends. It's a win-win. :) So this October was the first time I have been to Fright Fest EVER and I have enjoyed myself immensely. I love hanging out with my friend who's scared of clowns and having a clown creep up on her in front of the haunted house, only to have Thriller playing and they end up dancing where they are. I never laughed so hard. Am I terrible? All the staff I have interacted with, from the season pass processors to even the metal detector technicians are very nice and helpful if you have a question. If anyone is lost in the park I suggest asking anyone with a uniform on, and regardless of what they were doing at the moment will stop and make sure you find your way to The Boss of Mr. Freeze; Whatever I think the reason why I didn't give the park a full 5 stars is because I am not a huge crowd person as far as no social interaction goes, but other than that I think Six Flags still deems perfection 13 years after my first visit! read more

This is probably the smallest 6 Flags I have ever been to. They are starting to expand but it's still really small. I'd suggest getting a season pass if you're gonna be going there more than twice. Also, get a flash pass so you can skip in front of people. It'll cost more but you can ride more coasters this way. Also, if you are driving here, pay the extra $10 at the gate so you can park closer. It's so worth it. Especially during the summer when there are a ton of people. There are some pretty good rides. The water park is tiny. If you like the thrill of rides, there are only a couple good ones in the water park. The wave pool is pretty fun too but the time that the waves last is really short and the water isn't that deep at the back. The coasters are pretty good but they aren't as big as other Six Flags. Nor is the quantity of rides the same or even close to other ones. My favorite one is probably Mr. Freeze because you get launched forward, do a couple twists, then go all the way up a tower where you eventually come to a stop, then you do the whole ride backwards. It's really short but a ton of fun. Make sure you sit in the front for this one. Superman Tower of Power is your regular dropping coaster where you go up and they drop you. The Screamin Eagle is probably one the of the longest coasters I have ever ridden. If you look on the map, it pretty much runs the entire length of the ride. The Batman ride is not really good at all. Did it once and was vastly disappointed. Tony Hawk's Big Spin will make you sick. Did this one after a rough night of partying and almost puked. You sit in a tiny cart which turns you around and around as you go through the ride. At the end, as you are waiting to unload, they spin you around and around in a circle. Do not do this one if you are hungover! Overall, this will satisfy your roller coaster fix if you are in need of one. However, do not prepare to be blown away. read more

I was a frequent flyer here before moving out of the metro, and hopefully my tips allow you to have a better visit. - Make sure you buy for STL if shopping online. I felt bad for the person ahead of me at the gate who bought for Great America (Chicago/Gurnee), and she had to take her voucher to the Guest Relations line to fix it. - Many times it is cheaper to buy tickets online, but double check the only processing fee to ensure that you are paying less than you would have at the gate. Some ticket discounts are only available in park: under 48", military, and Coke can (must have a Coca-Cola product that states it). These discounts unfortunately do not extend to the season passes or memberships. - The best deals on Season Passes and Memberships are found over Labor Day weekend. The lines are longer at the tickets booths and everywhere in the park. Other promotions occur throughout the year: Black Friday, Mother's Day, etc. - Children under 48" can be measured at Lost Parents near the Bugs Bunny National Park. Bugs has many rides appropriate for smaller children. - I was hesitant about the finger scan (not fingerprints), but it is more secure. My younger cousins have pictures on their passes because they are still growing. - The best spot in the park to answer questions is Season Pass Processing. They have maps and A/C. It's a small building located above the entrance of Thunder River and right beside Xcalibur. - The employees are another thing. It took me awhile to realize that if I expected young people to work here, then I should expect a young management team too. For many, it's clearly there first job. I regularly ask myself what level of professionalism do I expect vs professionalism that's seen. The experiences vary, but that's to be expected. - Rider requirements like height are briefly highlighted on the maps, and a more comprehensive document is available at Guest Relations. That document outlines for example what is considered a "leg" according to the ride manufacturers (third party). - Screaming Eagle is grandfathered into ADA compliance. There are only stairs leading to and from the loading doc. Aside from checking the phone for social media or work emails, check out these suggestions. - Ask questions from Trivial Pursuit, Jeopardy, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader, etc. - Play I Spy, True or Dare, 2 Truths & a Lie, Would You Rather, etc. - Use an app like Tiny Cards, Kipsu, etc. to play something - Call a family member or friend to check-in on them - Listen to a podcast or YouTuber (with headphones please) - Network, or just talk to someone new in line - Tell Halloween stories (during Fright Fest of course) - Sing winter songs and spread some cheer (Holiday in the Park) - Plan what ride you'll ride next - If waiting for food, decide what to eat and find a table (large portions) - Register online the Thrill/Season Pass read more

Can we give less than one star . First ,eight rides were closed , with no one working on them , they blamed a rain storm from the day before . You could tell staffing the park is a on going issue with Middle age security guards picking up trash long pinchers instead of high school kids that have always been here in years past with many of the workers having a ho hum attitude , it kinda gone downhill over the years . On the website there are videos of all the rides , but don't let the kids see them or they will be disappointed upon finding out most of the good rides are closed after paying . Park also seems in dis repair , lots of old paint peeling , everything just seemed old and outdated with well worn themes , no management in sight , guest relations girl can do nothing but smile and say sorry . read more

My 200th review goes to Six Flags!! Having gone to Disney World this year, I had this feeling that going to Six Flags might be different. We opted for the deal they had with the season pass for the rest of this year and for next year, went for our first time last weekend and I was wrong. It was very fun! Obviously the park doesn't change very much year from year but knowing that I might actually get to go to everything now makes it a bit more enjoyable. Not to mention free parking!! Crowds are always there, be prepared for that. The food still smells great and the rides are quite the thrill. Can't wait to see how many times I visit with this pass! read more

I grew up near Cedar Point, so honestly, there is not an amusement park that comes even close to the place, so no amusement park is going to get more than four stars from me. But, this is a place that is for the season pass. Get the season pass, get the parking pass and get the souvenir cup, especially for days you go to the water park. If you go at least three times, you largely break even and should come out ahead by going more often than that. The water park really is the place to be on the hot days. Definitely get your own water tube so you can do all of the tube activities when you want and how much you want. The line for the lazy river is ridiculously long on hot days and you only get to go around once before you get forced out, if you don't have your own tube. But, be wary of the kids running around the place unsupervised, especially on the weekends. Overall, it is not a bad amusement park. They have some nice rides, a decent water park (although if they add a few more things to it, it would be much better) and it is a good place to just kick back and relax with family and friends. read more

Love six flags, but the St Louis extension seems to get the worst rides... The people are definitely friendly, though they are really absent minded half the time, being that it's 99% staffed by 15-19 year olds. I just got a free ride pass, and we were really disappointed that the new Justice League ride wasn't included. Having seen this in fine print after walking all the way to the destination, we decided to just stand in line anyway. The line projected an hour long wait, so we didn't expect to get on quickly, however we ended up waiting upwards of three hours just to get on this 3 minute ride... It's definitely cool and worth checking out, but wait until this ride is a little older and has less of a line!! Not to mention it kept breaking down as we were in line, and thus had extended our wait period dramatically. As far as the food goes, don't even think about it. Nope. Not even that funnel cake. Everything costs triple what you would reasonably pay elsewhere due to the continence factor of having you trapped within their walls. Expect to pay $40 for a pizza easily worth $8. Yes, those are the actual numbers. Even getting a dining pass isn't worth it unless you plan to come out here every weekend. However, if you feel desperate, getting food here is a hassle. The lines are even longer than the ones for the rides, and the 15 year old stuck in this tiny stand will usually get your order wrong and won't know what to do when you confront them about it. The games are pretty cool though and definitely worth trying. Especially the ladder climb. It's just a fun challenge, and you can definitely win huge prizes! read more

Been here all day and they are intentionally slowing down rides in order to sell more fast passes. Outrageous price on parking and tickets. Multiple rides shut down. This place has really gone down hill. read more

This park is such a disappointment. It used to be beautiful and family oriented, now it is just tacky. They need to CLEAN & MAINTAIN the park extensively. Paying the employees a fair wage might bring more dedicated workers or just workers at all. This place is poorly managed and it shows. They need to spend less money on new rides and more on the existing rides and buildings. The landscaping is a disgrace and needs to be a priority. Maybe someday it could be the PARK it used to be with serious owners. read more

Don't get me wrong with the 3-star rating....this is still a good park. But I have pretty high standards when it comes to coasters, and having grown up with The Beast at Kings Island....well, this just doesn't compare. But for what and where it is, it's good. You can get passes here pretty cheap (just check your Coca Cola cans!). And they have a pretty cool water park that's included in the ticket price (could be better, but for the price, it's good). One good thing is that I've never experienced any really long lines, like you'll find at many parks. I'm not really sure why, since the rides aren't bad, but I'm not going to complain about not having to wait! read more

Things we liked: trees, friendly security cards asking frequently if they can be of help, and their smoked turkey legs. Things we didn't like: parking in BFE at high prices; high ticket prices; mostly gross and grossly overpriced food with an extremely limited selection (I hope you love gross pizza and a sorry excuse for burgers--and omigod avoid that greasy sad-ass oblong object they call corn on the cob); mediocre rides with long lines; meandering pathways making it difficult to get around or find anything; and a map with two sections using green markings and the greens are nearly imperceptible. One can expect exorbitant prices in the shops, but it's still always shocking. Overall we were not impressed enough that we'd ever go out of our way to visit again. Missouri's Coaster Capital! Go during the week on a hot day. Believe me, you will get your moneys worth because there will probably be barley any lines due to the heat. Just remember to stay hydrated! All the food places give out free cups of water if it is hot out. Don't bring any bags because they will make you rent a locker. I would recommend leaving your stuff in your car. Food is expensive in the park, so I also recommend packing food in the car (Btw, you can re-enter the park anytime during the day you entered, just get your hand stamped at the exit). Buying a season pass and parking pass would be a good bargain if you plan on going atleast 2-3 times. I would come to the park with a positive attitude and try not to read much into the negative reviews, because SFSTL is a lot of fun. My favorite rides are American Thunder (awesome airtime), Screaming Eagle, and The Boss. read more

Six Flags is a nice park, restrooms are hit or miss. Too many teen agers working there and not enough adults.

Six Flags St Louis is a great place to take your family and friends. Roller coasts, Water rides, food, and water park. They have something basically for everyone. There is even a kids side for the younger kids. There is nothing else like it here in St Louis. read more

Rides were great, lines weren't too bad. However a ton of rides we're closed as well as drink and snack stands - on a Saturday in August?! New battle for metropolis ride was AMAZING! DO NOT eat at colonnades if your going to eat at the park. Food and service we're both horrid! Over priced, undercooked, no organization. If you are going to eat at the park get a hotdog from 1906 or whatever it is or go to one of the actual restaurants .. like the new smoke house or Johnny rockets. Skip the burgers and chicken strips - especially at colonnades. Waste of 30.00! read more

There was only one spot open to get drinks. It's 75 degrees and the wait was at least 45mins. Holiday world will be our choice next time just because of the beverage availability read more
