Well, we went ahead and took a visit to the labs and informed the urgent care that we did the tests and they came back saying that it's not covered by insurance!!!!!! The urgent care in a matter of 12 hours went back on what they said and told us the services were not covered by our insurance!! Avoid this place, this is a money mill, they just want to tell you that you need this and that and it's covered but in reality it's not. Horrible place. They will be reported for unfair billing practices and misleading the care of the patients.

For some unknown reason I was intubated and they were so reckless, I left with fat and split lips, as if I was punched in the mouth With one notable exception the nurses were terrible they were unable to find a vein for the IV, but kept trying 4 times, until I told them to get someone else that finally got the IV started While in recovery, I was feeling poorly and asked for some juice or something to eat, the nurse told me I would be released soon and can eat at home. I told her I'm a diabetic and have been fasting for more than 12 hours she then says I don't think we have anything but I'll go check , just before surgery I saw them roll a full cart of food and drinks past my stall, that nurse mentioned they are restocking the food for surgery patients, so I know they had plenty of things to eat and drink, after awhile the nurse came back with just a sandwich and nothing else no juice or anything to drink. It's as if they don't care about their patients Additionally upon arrival I parked and followed signs through a building and down a long hallway to get to a door, which on the other side had someone sitting there saying I can't come in this way. So even though it was difficult for me to walk, she made me go back the way I came drive my car to another entrance and enter the building that way. The management thinks that's an acceptable solution. Rather than having signs asking patients to use another entry, they kept the signs up directing patients to essentially a dead end. No regard to patients with poor mobility.

The front desk staff greeted me with professionalism and warmth. They explained my options clearly--I could do a telehealth visit with a doctor or see the provider in their Van Nuys clinic. Since I was already in Palmdale, I asked about alternatives, and they offered me a same-day appointment with their Nurse Practitioner. I'm so glad I said yes. The NP was knowledgeable, compassionate, and really took time to listen. She revised my medications and gave me realistic, clear lifestyle guidance. I appreciated her genuine concern and how she educated me without judgment. Before I left, I told the front desk how great the NP was, and they mentioned they have three NPs who are all caring and well-liked. A month and a half later, I returned for bloodwork and a follow-up. This time, I saw a different NP, and the results blew me away: * Cholesterol: 141 130 * Triglycerides: 162 113 * A1C: 8.3 5.8 I was beyond happy--relieved, actually. For the first time in years, I felt hopeful about my health. As a small thank you, I bought donuts for the staff from a nearby shop. The staff are rude, are hard to get ahold of on the phone, you never get a call back when message is left both voice and text. I've been trying to get medication refill scripts sent over to CVS, CVS has messaged me manny times because they are not getting communication from the medical office. It is awful to see a great family practice go from caring for patients to a profit focus office. They need to go back to basics of medical care.
