Brought Jetson bike in for battery related issues. They replaced the charging port. When I picked it up the bike would not power on and then they indicated it needs a new battery. Terribly disappointingly. No accountability for not completely fixing the bike. I would not recommend. read more

Repaired my sons 26" Accolmile beach cruiser bicycle a while back.installed and repaired brake system,no one else wanted to look at,the old story we only work on what we sell,he did it,no promises but he tried and repaired it perfectly,good price,quality service etc. Still riding it today, he will if ever needed get my other 2 bikes to repair if needed,a Fucare gemini x and a phatmoto gas bike,they are the best around.I will always recommend them.thanks guys. Sixth City Cycles is such a great space and a cool vibe! Prior to my first visit, I'd never been to a combined bike and plant shop so it was definitely a unique experience. The staff has always been personable and helpful during my visits. Berto is great! He has provided me with various suggestions and tips throughout the years and he also assisted me with purchasing my first road bike 3 years ago. I purchased a State bike and although the price range was more than I would normally pay for a bike, I do not regret the purchase at all. I also purchased a bike rack for my car and Berto showed me how to install the rack. In addition to purchasing my bike for Sixth City Cycles, I have also taken it in every year for maintenance and have received top quality service. Sixth City Cycles always brings a smile to my face. What a cool concept mashing together two things I love: plants and bikes! I have not utilized any bike services so far, but they have an awesome selection of unique bikes and tons of accessories to add to your ride. They have a great selection of plants that changes regularly. They carry some plants you can't find elsewhere in the area. I find them to be extremely well priced and healthy. They sell gift cards, one of which I recently purchased for a plant loving friend. They also have a selection of eclectic finds near the counter, such as ceramics and glassware. What I am most excited about are the new mushroom grow kits. I purchased one this past week and am excited to harvest! read more

Welcome to Old Brooklyn, Sixth City Cycles! Sixth City Cycles is located inside Coffee Coffee Coffee and really enhances the identity of this shared space. I met the owner, Norberto, and he was such a cool and passionate person! If you're a cyclist, you can roll your bike right on in for a tune-up or repairs (as I watched one guy do). Norberto also restores bikes and even had a selection of bikes for sale high up on the walls of the coffee shop. I took a look thoroughly at them, and they were awesome. The prices were fair and each bicycle had a unique and colorful personality. There's also a giant wall of cycling accessories and maintenance supplies at reasonable prices. Norberto's workspace is an open concept set amongst the free-flow of the coffee shop, so you'll see him working while you're grabbing your coffee. Go say hello! He knows a lot about bicycles and really cares about what he does. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or just a casual rider, this stop is worth the visit. I came in today after being referred by a coworker. I hadn't been able to get air in my tires for the life of me. Mason helped me out and got my back together in no time. Of the many bike shops I've been to for tune-ups and gear, this is by far the best. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and conscientious. I brought my beloved bike in for a tune-up and new brakes. It was returned to me in perfect riding condition and sparkling clean, far exceeding my already high expectations. The staff also talked about how they build bikes, and if I weren't so attached to my 20+ year-old bike, I would have commissioned a new one then and there. We heard about Sixth City Cycles from a neighbor and it sounded very interesting. My 13 year old grandson loves to work on bicycles, fix and repair them. I asked him if he would be interested in checking it out. He was looking to purchase a set of disc brakes for his bike, let's go grandpa. So we went last Saturday the 19th. We looked around the coffee shop and spoke with artists who were selling various products then ventured to the rear of the shop where the bicycles were. Berto the bike repair man and the owner were there and we began a conversation that was very friendly. My grandson inquired about disc brakes for his bike and they told him the options and prices and delivery time. I was impressed with their helpfulness and no pressure to buy. We ordered the brakes and they came in when they said they would. Today we went to Sixth City Cycles to get the brakes installed. Berto was just as friendly as when we first met him. He was very efficient and informative. We will continue to do business here. PS: the coffee is great and the pastries too. read more
