Sixty Vines delivers a great dining experience with just a couple things to know going in. The bar drinks are genuinely good--creative, well‑made, and fun to try--but they are very expensive, so be ready for that sticker shock. The food, on the other hand, is excellent and surprisingly reasonably priced for the quality. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. Service is top‑tier. Staff is attentive without hovering, and the whole place has that bright, modern, relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. It's the kind of spot that feels polished but still comfortable. Overall, Sixty Vines nails the food, the vibe, and the service. Just know the drinks will hit your wallet harder than the entrées.

Ambiance: big restaurant. Small lounge seating area for waiting. Mix of bar height tables and standard tables. There is a long bar area with all the wines on tap. Open kitchen in the back. Service: always great service from the staff at this restaurant Food: awesome and large wine selection. The food is delicious. I devoured my truffled ham and cheese sandwich!!! I also had some of my friends beet salad and that was perfect for the hot weather. Our table didn't have any complaints.

Dropped by on a Friday night (spontaneous date night) after trying a few places. The hostesses here were gracious enough to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation and didn't particularly want to sit at a bar. It's a large place with a marketplace vibe--open kitchen, large family-style long tables and bar tables with stools. It's pretty loud, but I appreciate that between the beams of their high ceilings they have signs of noise control and sound design. The music was loud enough but not too loud, but the playlist varied from mood to random lol I wish they would've stuck to the more edgy songs. We had two servers, which was interesting, and they tagged teamed each other. It was interesting because they had different styles and recommendations. It is foremost known for their wine on tap, so we ordered a "wine flight", which sadly did not come in a flight or in cute mini glasses (like with beer or cider flights). I told our server what I like and he put it together for us. Out of 4 wines, I liked 3 and the last wasn't bad--just less full-bodied and more tart than what I prefer. To match, we ordered a "cheese board" with two meats and two cheeses. The prosciutto was yum. The spicy chorizo was perfect with the spicier wines. We had the house ricotta with the flatbreads, and some gouda to go with our wines. We had recommendations for these as well, but I got the sense our servers might not be wine-experienced enough compared to a sommelier at a wine bar. They seemed to recommend to please (aka order) rather than to pair. I did appreciate how the board came with snacks and flatbread in addition to the selected items. We got upsold a salad and shared a chicken pasta. Both were tasty. The house salad had strawberries and candied pecans and a very sweet vinaigrette. The chicken pasta came with mushrooms that were perfect! The chicken itself was definitely on the drier side and could've just as well been rotisserie chicken with some pesto. Overall, would return to try more wines and to give their pizza a shot.

I always enjoy coming to this location. The restaurant is known for their wines being on tap. They have a regular lunch/dinner menu but they also serve lunch on the weekend. When we came in this time, we tried the brunch board, Cabernet Brunch burger and the Braised Pork Pappardelle. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was awesome as always!

Brunch at Sixty Vines in Reston is a great experience overall. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and gives the perfect classy casual vibe. Amanda our server was so great and attentive, patient, and gave great recommendations. We felt well taken care of. The food was great! And they offer a wide variety on the menu. The only drawback for me was that we ordered a bottle of Sesanta Cava for the mimosa bar, which consists of fresh fruit and a couple of juice options, but the fruit had quite a few fruit flies hanging out so we only used the juices and not the fruit. Nothing a little food fan couldn't handle! Overall such a great time, I'd definitely go back and experience again.

Came here for Sunday brunch. Needless to say, it was such an awesome experience. The mimosa bar was GREAT!!! This was something so unique, the price ($34) was so worth it. And, honestly not bad if you really crunch the numbers. I got to drink a couple mimosas but I also got to mix and match what type of juice, syrup, and any fruits I wanted to put in it. The service was great too. My server, Heather, was so kind! She gave my partner and I really great recommendations when we asked her about the charcuterie board. The whipped ricotta was SO GOOD!!! I was obsessed with it. As for entrees, I ordered the brunch sandwich while my partner got the eggs benedict. Both were perfectly cooked and so good. I also love the vibes of the restaurant. When I walked in, it felt fresh, like a warm spring day. The aesthetic was very sleek and uniform. I loved it. Definitely check this place out!

One of the highlights of the night was meeting the owner, Jason. We bonded over our shared Cantonese backgrounds and even got to meet his aunt, who was visiting from California and happened to be sitting next to us. It made the whole experience feel incredibly welcoming and personal. We ordered the Dynamite Roll, which was a solid choice with 8 generous pieces, and the Szechuan spicy wontons, which were juicy with just the right amount of heat. If you visit, definitely grab a seat at the bar. The bartenders are friendly, engaging, and really add to the experience. We were treated to a complimentary shot of Jäger with Jason and even got to sample their Lychee Pearl cocktail because the bartender had made an extra. The cocktails really stood out. Instead of masking everything with sugary juices, they use extracts and creative techniques to build balanced drinks that complement the flavors beautifully. Jason also mentioned that their cocktail specials change every month, so we already told him we'll be back regularly to see what new creations he comes up with.

I've been here a few times and tried several different things. All average or basic. Nothing wow. I think people come here for the drinks and vibes. Which is fair. Cool ambience. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.

The free popcorn still isn't good or all that enjoyable, service can be hit or miss, drinks are expensive, and the food is very good. The Reston location does have plenty of large TVs, making it a solid place to catch a game. This was a guys' night out for food and drinks, but it's probably not going to become a regular meetup spot when a couple of easy changes could make a big difference. First, get rid of the popcorn, it's honestly laughable. Second, bring the drink prices down. A Wild Turkey and Coke shouldn't cost $14. We started with something to share. My biggest concern was value for the price, and the menu only had a few appetizers that felt both shareable and reasonably priced. The Bavarian Pretzel was good, although I wasn't a fan of the mustard dip. At $10, it's a decent value for two or three people. The chili nachos were tasty, but $18 is just too much for what you get. Even if they doubled the chips and chili, I'd still think they were overpriced by a couple of dollars. I'll definitely give them credit for the entrées. On my last visit I had the jambalaya, which was excellent. This time I ordered the Peruvian-spiced half chicken, and it was fantastic. I ended up spending almost $100. I had a good time and enjoyed the food, but Open Road has moved into my "splurge" category rather than my monthly hangout spot. Our server may have been new because service was slow, and the kitchen was also taking a long time to get food out, especially for a Friday night. I'm giving the Reston location four stars, just like Arlington. The food was tasty, I had a good time, and I'd come back, ... but.... the little things, especially the drink prices, lopsided menu pricing, and inconsistent service, keep it from being one of my spontaneous go-to spots.
