Local beers

Great atmosphere on a Friday evening, the place is pretty full. Neighborhood friendly service with great vibes, a few TV sports channels on display. Great variety menu selection of beers, wine, burgers and sandwiches, salads and a few pasta dishes. We had the Gyro with Onion Rings and the Fish and Chips that came with half a plate of salad , what a pleasant surprise!

Tasted like FRESH AIR

The customer service was cool had a few beers that was pretty good but the pizza was trash. The pizza had no flavor at all! It tasted like FRESH AIR‼ I know I'm buzzing a little bit off the beers and all. I just wasnt satisfied! I'm Just being honest. I know the people who work here are kind ..good customer service BUT..the pizza was just not hittin" 8 wings is like $15 so if I know the pizza wasn't it I definitely know what the wings taste like.. I just Wasn't satisfied with it I only ate it (left 3 slices) because I was buzzing / hungry trying to satisfy my hunger.. don't believe the hype of the 5/4 stars for the food .. sorry but I won't be back.. respectfully.. to be honest I haven't had any good food in the area in this northern VA area. the Chinese food out here is trash too.

Super fun place if you do it right!! We visited in November (I'm way behind on reviews!) We brought our two kids. The downstairs bar and outdoor space (tented on a deck adjacent to the building, picnic tables) seemed really fun. They were blasting indie rock circa 2012 and the vibe was somewhat like a frat party before anyone showed up. (It was like 11 AM-noon.) Since things were pretty ok with covid then, we thought it'd be better to sit inside. The bar didn't have great seating for a family, so we headed upstairs, which is confusingly a separate--but related--restaurant. The vibe was entirely different in a senior citizen kind of way. They were blazing cheesy music (think: when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie). We made the executive decision to rejoin the frat party. We were so glad we did! (All of us except our three year old. She just kept saying she was cold. There are heaters over head, but I think she wanted more heat, lol.) Good pizza, good beer selection. I really liked everything I got. It's a fun spot and I bet in the summer that deck is super fun. Stay on the ground level unless you're in the mood for some cheesy times.

Menu for happy hour.

Great beer bar with fantastic happy hour menu and eats. Chicken Margarita Flat Bread is exceptional from what friends say and can't wait for it to arrive! So it was delicious. The crust was lightly toasted and flaky with hint of garlic. Cheese melted delicately over grilled chicken, tomato, and onion bites. Each mouthful had the perfect garnish of basil. Paired with the Hardywod Peach Triple, my experience was over the top! The Belgian Ale was spicy with subtle hint of pepper, honeysuckle, apricots and peaches. Amazing pairing of tastes. Early evening patio seating on a balmy afternoon and slowly puffing on a NUB cigar. Doesn't get better.

Fun little hidden spot in Herndon to grab a few beers. It's small, but cozy and the staff are not only super personable but they're very knowledgeable about the beers they have on tap. Would've liked to have seen some more rare stuff on tap but overall, I can't wait to go back. Very nice view from the outside seating area. Perfect to catch a sunset with a few brews!

Mile20 is practically our home away from home. Amazing craft beer selection and beer tenders that have become more like family than friends.

She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. Great service can elevate a meal, and Maria did exactly that. The food was excellent. The paella was delicious, the patatas bravas were flavorful, and both the pork belly and bacon-wrapped dates were standouts. The sangria was also fantastic and paired perfectly with the meal. Now, I've had Spanish food in places where it's a little more authentic and refined, so this wasn't necessarily the best Spanish food I've ever had. But considering we're in Virginia, Barcelona absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, the patio setting, and especially the exceptional service combined to create a five-star experience. If you're in Reston and looking for a memorable dinner, Barcelona should be at the top of your list. Ask for Maria if you can she is fantastic.

Barcelona Wine Bar serves a variety of authentic Spanish tapas and plates along with a large wine selection. My mom and I were super excited to dine here as we both love a good tapas meal! The restaurant is in a great area but you do have to pay for parking (they should validate your parking though). The interior is lovely and the ambiance is unique with a rustic-chic vibe. The service was good and our server was attentive. She offered us some guidance on the menu and some recommendations as well. The workers did a great job grabbing finished plates off tables and were super friendly. Some of our food took longer to come out, specifically the charcuterie board. Each table starts with fresh, warm bread and Spanish olive oil. Some tables got balsamic vinegar added to their oil, but we didn't. They do offer refills for the bread as well. For tapas styled dinners it is recommended to order a couple of plates at once for the table to share. We started with the Aperitivo Board which included an Jamón Serrano, Chorizo Soria, Idiazábal, Manchego, Eggplant Caponata, House Marinated Olives, Pickled Guindilla Peppers, and Patatas Brava. This was a huge board with a little bit of everything. Ordering this allows you to try some charcuterie and tapas at once for a great price. The meats were lovely and the Manchego cheeses were bold. Both paired well with the olives too. The eggplant caponata had a slight sweetness to it, which I liked. And the patatas bravas were easily some of the best I've had. The crema atop of them was to die for, these are a must order! Like I stated above, our board took a while to come out. This wasn't a huge deal, but it definitely took longer than it should have and I wish our server had checked in on us during that period. Next, we order the beet salad, albondigas, and the jamón & manchego croquetas. These dishes arrived quicker and all came around the same time. The beet salad consisted of pickled beets with a Skordalia garlic spread on the bottom. The sweetness of the beets complimented the Skordalia nicely. The albondigas included 5 Spiced Meatballs in Jamón-Tomato Sauce. With a little bit of a kick to them, these meatballs were fantastic! The sauce was extremely flavorful and I thoroughly enjoyed these. Lastly, the jamón & manchego croquetas which were served with the same garlic aioli that was atop the patatas bravas. These were rich and really creamy with lots of manchego. The breading was light on the outside and the inside was packed with mostly manchego and some jamón. I didn't like these as much as I thought I would, but they are definitely worth a try. Overall, all the food was amazing and we both really enjoyed our meal. The service was decent and I thought they did a good job taking care of us. They are very friendly and will help you navigate the menu if needed. The interior is such a vibe and I really loved the ambiance. While our charcuterie seemed to take a while to come out, all the other food arrived promptly. Everything is served made to order and arrive hot to your table. The Aperitivo Board is definitely the best bang for your buck. I would 100% order this if you want a little charcuterie and some of the tapas. Could easily be a meal for two people. I would return to try more tapas in the future and recommend if you are in the area! Aperitivo Board - 10/10 Beet Salad - 7/10 Albondigas - 8/10 Jamón & Manchego Croquetas - 7/10

The young seater proceeds to seat us in a section with 9 empty tables, completely removed from the rest of the restaurant. Weird choice on her part. Husband can see the rest of restaurant/tvs in his view. I can see a wall column and windows. ‍ Server was super laid back. Ordered the Open Table burger with fries and the French onion burger with sweet potato fries as well as a take out order. Server opted to put the take out order in once our food came. Burgers came out quickly. They were cooked just as requested. Food was ok.. nothing special Server kind of disappeared so drink refills were hard to come by. I think because we were so far away from all of his other tables it made it difficult for him to get back to us. Manager (?) came by and offered to refill drinks and bring a box. Take out order came out right on time. No dessert was offered or suggested. Would we come back? Probably not but we gave it a try.

It's a nice atmosphere, not too stuffy but elegant enough for a nice dinner. The drinks are good, well mixed, and nice options whether you drink wine, beer, cocktails, or non-alcoholic options. The food, however, is very mediocre. They started with an amuse-bouche that was a fruit tart with cheese. Nice, light, and well balanced. We ordered the tuna tartare, along side a Japanese sweet potato dish and a salmon tartare that were both specials. The tartares were fine. Something you would get anywhere. The presentation was nice but their crisp or cracker was kind of useless as it doesn't have the structural strength to use as a vessel to eat the fish. The sweet potato was probably the best in terms of flavor albeit very rich. The main course is well things really fell apart. The beef dishes people ordered were either under cooked or over cooked. I got the grilled prawns which were limp and mushy. The veggies were underseasoned. The braised beef was small. I think everyone was underwhelmed with the main course. It's fine as a after work dinner spot but if you care about food, there are better options nearby.
