This is by far a very unique situation/transaction (in a great way)! I stopped at a place in Fort Worth to get a quote and possibly leave out as "same day service available" was advertised. When the associate mentioned it'll take 24hrs, that wasn't gonna work as I was making my way back to GA (not a TX resident). I then came across SK Repair and called and Scott mentioned he can get it done that day. Like others mentioned, he said he will be at the starbucks and I can meet him there to drop the device. Within a few hours he was able to work on my cracked iPad screen, kept me posted on his progress, returned my device while meeting me back at starbucks within minutes of him letting me know it was ready, swiped my card and emailed my receipt. This has to be the smoothest, most convenient transaction ever! At first I was kind of skeptical and questioned myself as I just handed my device to a stranger but after all, Scott is very trustworthy. Great price and definitely beats other quotes I've received. This is my first review in Yelp! I was skeptical at first because Scott only works by appointment and has no shop. I was very pleased on his quick response & communication. We met up at Starbucks & he fixed my water damaged iPhone within 20 Minutes as he promised. The price was very reasonable. He will tell you what to expect after the repair. My phone had pretty severe water damage. The Apple Store was not able to fix my iPhone, so there was no where else I thought I could go. I told Scott that my only goal is to have my phone turn on so I could do an iCloud backup to retrieve my baby's pictures. He replaced the battery and gave me a new screen for me to able to back it up in iCloud. Thank you for the help!!! read more

I had a great experience using SK Repair Studio. My phone needed two things repaired and both were done for me at a price that saved me a lot of money. I mean, a lot compared to other repair stores or anywhere else I could've taken it. I requested a quote and shortly after he responded with a reply. Easily, I set up an appointment with him on a Sunday. He met with me exactly at the time he stated and I gave him my phone after he explained how long it would take and other details. It took him the time he said it would take and he even was nice enough to drop it off to me. He may not have a traditional store since he works out of his home, but wow the quality and service is amazing. My phone looked brand new again! So happy with my phone repair!! Scott replaced my iPhone 6s Plus screen. He did an excellent job. Fast and so reasonably priced. He was able to fix my external speaker also which I had previously brought to have diagnosed at an Apple store...Apple told me it couldn't be fixed and I needed to buy a new phone. If you are looking for a quick , easy and inexpensive fix don't go anywhere else but to Scott he's absolutely amazing. I asked for maybe 5-7 quotes for a iPhone 7s craked screen. I got a range from 80-120. Scott had the best price. I messaged him late at night and he responded fast and gave me the best quote. He said to meet him at a Starbucks near his home office and he would do a 30 minute repair. At first I thought he was going to need longer than 30 minutes but that was going off of the fact that when I went to the actual repair stores they always said that it would take about an hour or two and they would call me. We met at 2pm and he left at 2:04 and got done with the repair at 2:19 and then got back to the Starbucks at 2:23 it was a very good experience and great customer service and he even left me with a phone that was already broken just so I can watch something or call someone if I needed too. read more

I've worked with computers for decades but was flummoxed when my laptop developed a screen jitter that caused the image to jump around erratically. Before calling Scott at SK Repair Service I tried the updates and settings recommended on the Internet, but none of these worked. When I called, Scott suggested I try one more setting that sometimes helps. This also did not work, but Scott's immediate knowledge about related problems and willingness to share his recommendation made an excellent first impression. Since I needed a more complex repair, Scott came by to pick up my laptop that evening. He kept me up to date throughout the process with the diagnostics he'd done and repairs needed, and returned the laptop less than a week later. I found this remarkable, since repair required opening the case, removing the screen and replacing the failed parts - including the time it took for Scott to order the parts and have them delivered. I messaged SK Repair Studio yesterday for a quote on a grievously shattered iPhone7 screen and a possible screen replacement for my 6s. Scott got back to me within minutes, with a very reasonable quote and due to the positive Yelp reviews, we set up a time to meet. He actually came to my office at the appointed time, diagnosed my 6s as just needing a new screen protector ( and the honesty and ethic was most appreciated- he could have said I needed a new screen and I would have been none the wiser) and returned with the phones within an hour, keeping me apprised the whole way- the problem was that he wasn't satisfied with the new screens performance and had a new set immediately ordered and installed. Did I mention this iPhone 7's screen was all but obliterated?? I came in to work with two wrecked phones and left with two practically new ones for a good price and excellent customer service.
