I had a last minute need for transportation to Manchester from Nashua. I am in a wheelchair right now and they were able to accommodate me with only an hour's notice! My driver was pleasant, if not terribly talkative :) I dropped a personal item when I got out and he noticed and brought it right back to me. They do require credit card payments be given over the phone prior to pick up and there is a 10% surcharge for credit too. I'm not sure that's strictly legal, but is the reason I subtracted 1 star. They informed me they could wait to do a return trip for up to an hour without charge, but I had a longer appointment and my friend was able to pick me up. Good to know! The dispatcher was nice, an older woman by her voice. A little no-nonsense, but courteous all the same. If I needed taxi services in Nashua again, I would definitely call them first. read more

The cab driver are great, but the morning dispatcher is extremely rude and disrespectful. My child has used this company to get back and forth when I am not able to bring him and the things he's experienced is horrible. No company should be allow their dispatcher to call their female driver, the C word over the radio. He is rude to costumers as well and if you call back to order a cab he won't answer the phone. This is definitely not what I would have expected from this company. read more

I've had to use SK quite a bit over the past few months. My wife had to go out of town for work and then we had car trouble, and SK was my only means of getting around. To and from work, to the pharmacy, to the bank. They even brought my 14 year old step-son to school when he missed the bus one morning. The prices are great (cheaper than Uber) and the drivers are safe, friendly, and punctual. One time I scheduled a pick up for a few hours later in the day and the driver was a little late. They gave me the ride for free! Do yourself a favor and ditch Uber if you're in the Nashua area. My only regret is that I have but one review to give for my taxi service. read more

SK taxi is absolutely outstanding..my mother is elderly and needs a taxi quite often she uses SK taxi all the time ...Mike her driver which she asks to have by name is amazing he is so good with her ...he helps her in and out of the car always and makes sure she is always safe and well taken care of ....I have met Mike as well being an overprotective daughter and have no concerns she is in good hands always ...I would highly recommend Mike as your taxi driver....he is an amazing guy always friendly .. happy...and courteous. Disregard a previous review that wasn't favorable. They have redeemed themselves. Car broke down and had to take a cab to bring my doggie to the vets and back. Laurie was my driver and she was awesome. Very patient, not rushing us in or out of the cab. She was our driver on the return trip and she was just as professional and patient as the trip down. I will have to chalk up my bad experience to the universe not with me that day. ;) I've been using SK Taxi cab for over 20 years now, and are usually very good. It depends on your driver I guess. I dropped my car off for work on it and called for a ride home, just across the bridge from Hudson to my home in Nashua. I mean literally just across the bridge; 1.8 miles and 5 minutes travel time. They didn't show so I had to call back, and they had sent them to the address in Nashua, even though I had specified three times I was in Hudson. OK. Mistakes happen. It's easy to see the potential. So today I call SK for a ride from Nashua to Hudson to pick up my car. Same 1.8 miles/5 minute ride. I open the door so I can see when they drive up but nobody shows. I'm a patient person so I wait some more..... Now it's almost an hour and a half, so I call SK to tell them nobody has picked me up. First I was told they couldn't find me; then I was told they came but I didn't come out; and when I told the dispatcher I had been waiting at the door and nobody came and you had my cell # and nobody called, so what's the deal? I'm told they are very sorry and it's been crazy busy and will get someone out right away. OK fine. Another 15 minutes goes by and finally they show. I'm less than 5 minutes from SK's terminal to my house.... I mention to the driver what time I called and he said that he was told that someone was sent but I didn't go out. Not his fault but I told him that they must've sent someone to the wrong place, because as you can see, I was waiting at the door with it open, and they also had my cell # and nobody called. He said he didn't know about it; that's what he was told. Ok, life goes on but don't blame the customer when you F*k up. Now it comes time to pay. I wondered if they would give me a break since I had waited almost two hours to be picked up for a 5 minute ride, but NO. They charged me a dollar MORE than they did when they picked me up from there and took me home last week. I think $10.50 + tip is a bit much to pay to go 1.8 miles and after waiting almost two hours, so I will seriously rethink calling them in the future. I'm not a first time user either. In fact, I've been a customer of theirs for 20+ years, and I'm tired of them trying to blame ME, the customer, every time there is a mix up and they say them were there when they weren't. This is NOT the first time. I understand Uber and Lyft are much cheaper. Maybe they will appreciate my business. read more

How to Lose Customer.... I have been a Customer, for about 15 years. I always paid in cash, until my last ride, the Saturday night, after Thanksgiving. I needed a ride to Lowell General Hospital, Emergency. I was in anguishing pain, with a Migraine. The driver, Pierre, was late. Once we hit the road, he announced his phone GPS was not working. He clearly did not know how to drive from Nashua, to Lowell General. I tried to help him, but in the dark, we missed one sign. Got lost. Pierre, from the islands, barely speaks English, but became verbally abusive and angry. He frightened me. I had to use my credit card to pay $70.00 for a 12 mile ride. I contacted my credit card company, right away to dIspute the charge. SK TAXI took 2 months to only send the receipt to the card company. I was re-charged. The fact that I paid Gordon, for the return ride home should have shown it was the horrible experience, with Pierre, that caused me to file the dispute. I will continue to dispute the charge, with the credit card company. They advised how to do this. If the owner does not remove the Bogus charge, in a few days, I will also file a Complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Zero Stars! On a stormy day, it only took ten minutes for our car to arrive. I don't often have friendly, fun drivers when getting cabs but this is the exception. She was quick, professional, and the price was more than reasonable. Nashua is known for terrible car services but these guys definitely stand out as the ones to use. read more

I have had good luck with S K Taxi. The operators were friendly and on time. It was my first time living in a remote place like NH (remote compared to NYC), but these folks made me feel welcome. I got to know them pretty well until I got my own car. The only thing to work on would be to have the operators not smoke inside the vehicle. A few times the smell (and leftover smell) of cigarette would be so bad that I'd have to breathe through my mouth the whole way. About twice I was given similar rides despite me asking for a smoke-free cab. I myself smoke in the car when I take long drives over the weekend, so I get it. But I still manage to keep the car smelling minty fresh. Once again, they are good people and have fare rates. So I'd definitely recommend them. They also accept credit cards, just make sure to ask for the final price when you call, because a few times there were surprise fees that do make sense but wasn't mentioned during the reservation. read more

I like to try to support local taxi as I know they can't compete against Uber and I wanted to support a licensed company. I use them to go to downtown Nashua and have no problem paying the extra couple bucks. Tonight I used them to go 2.9 miles to go two exits home and it was $18 because of their insane zone system. I tried to support you, but refuse to be ripped off. Avoid them. Get an Uber. Would've been half price or less. $6.21 per mile is pathetic. read more

I used them for a cab ride that was 12 miles, door to door. The fare was $50. To put this in perspective, Yellow Taxi fares in Manhattan are: Upon entering the taxi, you will be charged the standard City fare rate of $3.30, which includes a 50-cent State surcharge and a 30-cent Improvement surcharge. Additional charges also apply: 50 cents for every fifth of a mile. 50 cents for every minute the taxi traveled less than 12 miles per hour. So, 12 miles X 5(fifth of a mile) X 50 cents = $30. Plus standard fare rate of $3.30. I think there were 2 traffic lights. I don't remember if we stopped, but let's add another dollar to make it $34.30 for the same ride in Manhattan. Why is the fare in Cow Hampshire almost twice that of Manhattan - one of the most expensive places on earth? It's insane. I should have asked what the fare was upfront; the dispatcher told me when I entered the cab. If I didn't have a foot injury, I would have walked. They are never getting another dime from me. read more

Ask for James, nicest guy every, polite, understanding, all of their drivers are great drivers. I own cars so normally I never need a cab but in a pinch they are a great service to have on your phone. read more

What a rip-off! The hotel made the arrangements. And, I needed to get to the airport. So, I paid.. But, imagine my utter shock when I was told that the fee for the 12.5 miles would be $50 and I needed to pay up-front - before the driver would leave the parking lot. It took 8 minutes (I timed it) for the driver to call the office and make the payment. So incredibly glad I called early for a taxi. Imagine how horrifying to be charged an excessive amount AND be late to the airport. They get one start because the driver was prompt and a nice person. (Although, the driver didn't open the car door or the trunk.) If not for the driver, there would have been no stars. But really, NEVER use this company. They are a huge rip-off. (I never thought I'd say this: You could even use Yellow Cab for better service. At least they use meters.) Oh, and I'll never trust the Crowne Plaza in Nashua, NH, to arrange taxi service for me again. read more
