Coinciding with a recent visit to Deception Pass for the low tide in June, we decided to visit the actual farm stand up in Mt. Vernon on the way. This location consists firstly of a little building in front with a drive through and walk up window serving freshly made fruit smoothies, coffee, and ice cream. The only menu with pricing is located on the drive through side so it's a little inconvenient for walk ins! But at least for strawberries, they get fresh fruit right from the farm (we saw them walking in several flats of Rainiers as they opened up in the morning). Otherwise, the main store is in the barn-looking building behind that. When we visited in Mid-June, they were selling tons of different plants (50% off!), lots of freshly baked pies, and tons or strawberries! When we first walked in at 9:30 AM, the strawberries had literally just been brought to the stand; they were fresh as fresh can be. They had two varieties for the day: Albion (as with most Day-Neutral varieties, these are mediocre, but still better than grocery store varieties), and Rainier, one of the most flavorful varieties grown in Washington. We picked up a half flat for only $20, and would have bought more if not for the fact that we had already purchased 8 pounds of Upick Puget Crimsons from another farm just the previous day. We opted to also hit the little cafe to pick up one of Schuh Farms famous strawberry milkshakes. Strawberry Shake, 20oz ($8.50) - So delicious, the decadent dessert and ridiculously thick, rich, and creamy. Does this milkshake consist of strawberry blended with strawberry ice cream to amp up that fruity flavor? The strawberry is exceptionally jammy and it stays jammy even when the drink warms up. It somehow never gets watery like melted ice cream! (5/5) I've been buying from Schuh Farms ever since moving to Washington and I plan on continuing to be a customer in future years. Now I know there's a big advantage driving up to the farm instead of just stalking their stands at the farmers markets in town!

Guaranteed for cute backdrop photos, great for kids/families and it's such a big farm overall! Such a variety of pumpkins, squash and gourds! They have delicious hot apple cider and pumpkin donuts. Fresh produce and fruits, and honey too with apple cider available for purchase! They have a cornmaze for $7 admission, sunflowers and just a cute vibe all around. It is pretty popular too! The pumpkins are reaosnably priced if you're getting small and medium sized ones (not sure about the big ones). There were a lot of ppl with wagons purchasing big pumpkins so expect a line if you're visiting this month!

Parking was okay; there weren't a lot of spots, but it's very close to the farm. The farm was nicely decorated with different types of gourds and pumpkins, and they even had a giant talking witch! My Groupon suggested to call ahead and make a reservation, which wasn't a problem at all. The person at the Berry Barn where you check in was very friendly and informative. The maze itself went by fairly quickly, but it was fun to have an interactive trivia aspect to it. I also enjoyed a raised platform at the center to see over the whole maze. It was a lot of fun, and a family-friendly activity you can do in an hour or two.

Bring a cooler as you're going to buy a lot. The shop carries a lot of great products like wine, meat, soup bones, phenomenal salami and of course cheese. I loved it so much, I made a second trip just before heading back to Seattle. As much as I love a quick jaunt from Seattle, they do sell their products at two of Seattle's largest farmers markets and you can place orders online. The Gouda is next level!!! Run don't walk. We enjoyed the ice cream and waffle cones but did find the "farm stand" portion to be lacking. Not much produce, they did have lots of canned items. I purchased pickled okra (which tasted great) and later read the label to see what they pickled it with. That is when I saw it had yellow dye as an ingredient. I thought that was odd for a local farm to put in their canned goods. Then I saw on the front of the label that said they were pickled "for" the farm. Something to consider if you factor that into a purchase. Either way, a worth it stop for a sweet treat.

The berry flavor shone through super well and it was really balanced with nice berry pieces dispersed within. The chocolate brownie was nice and rich, and I loved the brownie pieces inside too. Geoduck is something every non-PNW person asks you about and I can finally say I've had it - I say go eat it because you'll not have anything like it. It was a ceviche style snack and it wasn't rubbery or fishy at all. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to say they ate the massive mollusk. It's off the side of Chuckanut drive down a pretty steep and skinny hill, so take care. Parking can be tough during peak season but it's worth the drive. I am a road warrior for work and get into my fair share of sandwiches during a work week. So worth the stop. It was perfect and came with a side of potato salad which didn't disappoint either. Definitely top sandwich I've had this year. The poke was on point and instantly reminded me of being in Hawaii getting my poke to go out of the deli at Foodland. We've been going there for years. Sadly, they no longer offer ice cream cones (just ice cream in pints and quarts) - they explained to me that they were overwhelmed by people who just wanted ice cream, and that it made it hard to sell fish. The penalty of popularity. If you need fish, whether to consume nearby, or to take home on ice, this is a great place to buy it - conveniently located on route 20, not far from I-5.

This place really does hold a special place in our hearts! We came for the first time while I was…read morepregnant and then again when our baby was just barely standing and then again with our toddler who runs the apple orchards like he owns the place. Apple picking is my favorite here! Apples are wonderful and they have corn for sale too! The sweetest corn we've had all year! Activities and ambiance are always wonderful! During fall, we absolutely love the cider donuts, roasted corn, and cider drinks! The pulled pork sandwich is solid, I just wish they would toast the bread so it wouldn't be so cold and dry. Corn dog was pretty good! They have lots of seating around the farm which is great and we appreciate that bathrooms are clean. The duck race was really fun to watch and all of the staff and team members at the farm looked happy and helpful! We've definitely noticed that over the years it's gotten a lot more busy! Activities are worth it but can be pricey! To take advantage, we started early and stayed the entire day! We had a blast and so did our son!

We visited Swans Trail Farms for the first time to check out their Great Harvest Glow and had such…read morea wonderful time! We weren't too sure where to get our wristbands at first but when we asked one of the staff members they were super helpful and pointed us in the right direction. There are soooo many fun things to do here! There are tons of activities if you're bringing kids, including zip lining, a maze, gem mining, and so much more. You can also hold the cutest little chicks, hang out with some adorable little goats, see the other farm animals, check out the Cidery, gift shop, apple orchard, pumpkin patch, or grab some donuts or roasted corn! I highly recommend checking out the Great Harvest Glow if you're visiting during the season. There are so many amazing light up pumpkin setups and it was such a fun way to experience the farm at night! If you're purchasing a Great Harvest Glow ticket, you can come to the farm as early as 5pm to explore before your scheduled wagon time :)
