One had wheels that were slightly out of round. We called Lectric Bikes, they told me to take it to any of several shops. We took it to EMOG&B. Lectric Bike told me they would reimburse us. Extra Mile told me it would be ready the next week, Friday, I think. It was ready early. They did more than we expected. We purchased a bike rack on Amazon (more later). We are RVers and went on a road trip. Our bike rack broke, it was a bad design. Got authorization for refund from Amazon, since a replacement (like for like) or refund only options. So I called Extra Mile. Ultimately Caleb told me about Hollywood Racks and quoted me the same price that they sell for online. I ordered the Hollywood RV Rider from Extra Mile and Caleb estimated a delivery for the next Wednesday. He called on Tuesday and when I got to the store, they had assembled the rack, put it on our truck and showed me how to use it. That to me and my wife is home run! If you are shopping due , to street construction you need to be creative to get there, but if you want great service, give them a try.

The guys give great personalized service. They remember regular patrons' names and always are friendly and pleasant. The employees are all hockey players and are always happy to answer my dumb newbie questions. I took up hockey a year ago and they outfitted me in gear without trying to up sell. They could have talked me into a bunch of expensive stuff, but instead they sold me just what I needed. For a small pro shop, they have surprisingly good prices and selection. We often see gear at prices that match the biggest online retailers. If they don't have what we are looking for, we ask and Steve has ordered it.

I have no clue how the Allen screw loosened, but they kept rotating while he was riding. So after getting an ice cream we rode over to Mountain Rentals and I sent him inside to ask to use an Allen wrench. He came back out a minute later and said he couldn't do it. So I went inside and smiled and said, "Hey his handlebars are loose and we would like to just borrow an Allen wrench. We can stand right there by the front door and it will only take like 3 seconds." The dude refused. He said, "The shop tools are only to be used inside the shop, and we don't work on bikes." I'm honestly floored he would refuse. I bet you could walk into 49 other shops with tools and they would gladly offer goodwill to a community member in an awkward situation--potentially dangerous, even.

Because of that completely wrong assumption, I never bothered to go in. Fast forward a few years and after reading the reviews here in Colorado I finally decided I had to see it for myself. Yesterday, March 6th, the weather was miserable. Cold, windy, light snow and rain. Not the kind of day you want to be outside, let alone skiing. So I figured it was the perfect day to finally give Scheels a try. I ended up spending five hours in the store and taking more than 250 photos, and this place absolutely blew my mind. There were sports and equipment sections I didn't even know existed. The store truly has everything you could possibly need and then some. What impressed me most was the staff. They were knowledgeable and helpful but didn't hover every five seconds like some stores do, which allowed me to really explore and absorb everything. The shoe selection was outstanding with every kind of running shoe, ski boot, work boot and outdoor footwear you could imagine, and the shoe staff were clearly well trained helping customers. I also spent about 45 minutes in the luggage section, which was surprisingly impressive. It's clearly a curated department run by someone who truly understands travel. I spoke with a luggage specialist who I believe is from Asia and a serious world traveler herself. She was incredibly knowledgeable and immediately understood what I meant when I told her I was tired of hard-sided luggage and wanted something built for an active lifestyle. She introduced me to a beautiful 100-liter Patagonia rolling duffel with durable wheels, strong zippers, and soft-sided construction that can actually handle real travel. These types of bags come with lifetime guarantees on the wheels and zippers, and now I'm officially saving my pennies to buy one. The store itself was alive and buzzing with families, couples, hunters, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts everywhere. The only section that felt a little thin was the women's golf apparel where most of the XS sizes were gone, while the men's golf section was very well stocked. Parking was plentiful and easy. Scheels isn't just a sporting goods store. It's an experience.

Colorado gifts, Denver broncos, nuggets, and avalanche collectibles. Hunting, fishing, guns, ammo, knives, barbecue supplies, a sportsman's dream come true. I was blown away by the customer service, kindness, and kindness professionalism of these owner-operators. I just wish it were a little closer to my house.

In todays visit we picked up a leotard. Carol went out of her way to order a leotard for my daughter and picked out a few others just in case. my daughter is tall and slender and she is difficult to fit. we also got fitted for some tap shoes while we were there as well. Carol genuinely cares and wants everyone to have a great shopping experience at her store. Everyone provides really wonderful customer service and they offer fair prices. We have been going to Encore since they opened and will definitely keep going back!
