It helped our kids feel comfortable because they were learning in the pool they use all the time, and we felt like their new skills transferred so much better because of it. Stephanie worked with both of our kids (3 and 4.5 years old) for 6 weeks/12 lessons, and we truly saw such a huge difference! Before starting, neither of our kids could swim from the steps to an adult or confidently jump into the pool. By the end, they could jump in, turn themselves around, and swim back to the wall independently. Their confidence in the water has grown so much! Stephanie was wonderful at using positive reinforcement while also giving them clear boundaries and expectations. She encouraged them when they were nervous or scared but still knew when to push them to try something she knew they were capable of. She always communicated what skills they were working on that day and was very receptive to the skills that were most important to us, especially when it came to safety. She did such a great job building on their skills and comfort level each lesson while keeping things fun and always emphasizing pool safety. We were so excited that both kids met the Learn to Swim Guarantee! We are incredibly grateful for the foundation Stephanie built for our kids. Not only are they safer and more capable in the water, but they are also so much more confident. We couldn't be happier with the progress they made in just 12 lessons!

His class is so different from other toddler classes we have attended because he also does tons of one-on-one manipulation of her body, getting her used to the motions involved in tumbling and bars and other aspects of gymnastics. I can't believe how much she has learned in just a couple months. Also, I can't help but admire Coach Andrew as a human. It's apparent how proud he is of the older girls he coaches, and my mom heart is so touched listening to him talk about his focus on building confidence in girls.
