That being said, it's a nice place to spend some time just relaxing and looking at some things that will transport you back twenty years or more. A lot bigger than it looks from the outside, each room is packed full of memories. I remember those, I had one of these and look at this, are all things we say here. This is essentially a not terribly sophisticated art showroom specializing in works by local…read moreartists just outside of the target. As this is inside of a mall, parking is unlimited. Note that the closest mall entrance is the one by the food court/target. This is a large space with dozens of artists exhibited. There are all kinds of media-paintings, sculpture, photography, collage, and more paintings along with slightly more usable stuff (crafts?) like linens, soaps, cards and all sorts of not easy to describe creative art objects. Thankfully this does not include a banana duct taped to the wall. Yet. As this spot is staffed by volunteers - this is some kind of not for profit collective-the service is of the wander around and get checked up on periodically model. The staff do know a lot about the artists, which is handy but not so much about art. Highly efficient at running the register which is really what you want in retail staff anyway. Anywhoo this is an excellent spot to drop in and browse. The stock is always rotating-but if you can't find what you saw last week, they have the ability to contact the artist directly which can be very useful. Due to the sheer variety of art it's easy to always find that one thing you didn't know you need until you see it. Pricing is all over the map. Some of the redwood furniture comes in at several thousand each but cards and soap can be had for a few bucks. I'm a big fan of the soap. Got a couple of bars of black soap for less then ten bucks. All in all it's a worthy stop for those interested in art, local shopping, gifts, or if you just have some time to kill.

I took my first stained glass class with Jackie and recently did her two day stained glass…read morebootcamp! Jackie has been an excellent teacher and is fun to chat with. I enjoyed learning from her and visiting KMG. What's even better than Jackie's classes is knowing how helpful she and her staff are--I go to the store at a decent rate (I'm addicted to stained glass now) and I've asked employees questions and talked to them about where I was hitting roadblocks. They've graciously shown me techniques and helped me learn more. I'm very lucky to have a glass store near me with such kind people!

Knew we wanted an hexagonal stained glass window featuring an otter but not much more than that…read more Emailed Jackie to see if she could design and create something for us. After asking lots of questions over email (Jackie was very patient), we agreed on a rough design, a timeline, and a fair price. A few weeks later we went into the shop to finalize the pieces of glass and to see the design she sketched. Jackie showed us a few options on colors and we decided on a border. When we were done, we explored the shop -- lots of wonderful items. A few more weeks later, Jackie completed the project and we returned to the shop to see her masterpiece. She recommended an installer (Dane) who we booked for the following week. Dane's pricing was fair and he stopped by in advance of the installation day to make sure he understood the project. We are delighted with the otter stained glass. Jackie is a true artist and a pleasure to work with.
