This really isn't an "outlet". If you want a true outlet you have to go down to Richmond CA. It huge and has and large clearance section. But as a store this has tge Meadow Wood mall store beat by 1000 miles. The Reno store were clueless wonders when it came to returning shoes bought online but the staff at this store hard ZERO problem. And for that alone the get 4 stars. One of my downfalls, shoes and jackets.. I know I only have one pair of feet, but there are so many different styles.. Plus I can alternate between shoes so they can last! It's really hard to give an really in depth review of such a focused business. I walked in, tried on some shoes and then bought four pairs for my family. I could tell you about my shoes and the style and all that crap.....but it doesn't really help you now does it. Walked in and the store was completely empty except for two employees who completely ignored us. We were trying to find nice shoes for my husband for family photos but every section with a display shoe he liked you couldn't find a box of his size that were of that shoe! Completely unorganized and no one asked us if we needed help, we might as well have not been in there! Only caught one of the names of the employees, Steve who was sitting on the counter relaxing and gossiping about god only knows what, looked right at us and continued to ignore us! Welcome back yelpers. Well here's a new one for ya. I needed new shoes and since they put the skechers outlets in Reno area I've been buying my shoes from them now I stopped in the one in the shopping center in sparks near Scheels and was helped by two amazing young ladies who spent at least 20 minutes helping me try and find the right shoes no keep in mind I have neuropathy in my feet so I have good days and bad this was in the middle so it was difficult to feel how the shoes fit between the numbness and pain but through out it all both of these ladies were amazing while I went back and forth between shoes I ended up having to order one pair and bought another pair of walking shoes that were pul ons both sets were very comfy now I have to say Skechers shoes have always fit me really well and the reason I bought two pairs is because they are running They're buy one get one 50 percent off sale and my grams always taught me to be frugal either way have to say this is probably one of the only five star reviews I've given in awhile I highly recommend heading in and also if you sign up for their points program you get an instant 10 percent off thanks for checking out my long winded review until next time read more

Yesterday, we went to Legends in Sparks to Early Vote and shop. We visited the Sketchers Store to check for the ever elusive size 13 Wide shoes, and we were NOT disappointed. Our clerk, Kelly, could not have been more helpful, attentive, professional and friendly. The whole staff there was knowledgeable AND personable, and we walked out very pleased with our purchase. It's hit and miss with Sketchers. We love their shoes, especially for the kids. My son is far more likely to outgrow a pair of sneakers from here before he wears them out. Which is great because I don't have to worry about toes poking through and I can pass on a quality pair of shoes to someone else. AND the kids LOVE these shoes. My daughter raves on and on about her "twinkle toes" and I wonder if my kindergartener would even wear anything at this point that didn't have the Sketchers "S" on them. Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm breeding shoe snobs! But... this store is kind of stressful to shop in sometimes. The aisles are narrow and stacked with boxes. If someone is standing in the aisle, you have to find a way to get around them (because saying Excuse Me only works half the time, most times I just get a dirty look), which on busy days can be a challenge. The sales staff is sometimes helpful and sometimes distracted. Very inconsistent. But now and then they have some great sales going on and the selection is really pretty good here. Just don't expect a warm and fuzzy shopping experience if you come here. Get in, get your shoes and get out, that's my motto! read more

I shop there for my elderly mother, who finds Skechers shoes to be the most comfortable to wear. Excellent variety, low inventory, however. Service left much to be desired. Each time I shop there, I leave with a bad taste in my mouth, regarding the customer service. read more

What a great experience this store has improved 100% from my last visit a couple years ago. My son has a wide foot Steve and Connor were so helpful guiding us to the correct area for my son's size and need. I was talking to my son about socks and Connor suggested the socks they had that might fit his needs, I jokingly said if you are not the manager to make sure and tell them what a great job of "up selling" he did, he said he was the store manager so I told him to fill out his own "that-a-boy card" and let his manager know we had a good laugh. A couple years back, I decided to run a marathon and started really getting into running shoes and the whole minimalist movement. For those who had no clue, in the last few years, a lot of runners have switched to shoes with little to no padding (minimum padding) and then you have barefoot runners. The logic is that humans were not born with shoes and we did just fine for a hundred thousand years. The problem with modern shoes is mostly the big heel. While the logic goes, it cushions the heel impact, fact is you're not really supposed to land on your heel in the first place. You're supposed to land flat front to back at the same time with the arch in the middle (not flat footed). No matter how cushioned the heel, when it strikes first, it absorbs all the ground impact which sends shock waves up your leg and back causing joint and tendon stress leading to aches, sprains, and strains. When I switched to semi-minimalist shoes (Skecher GoRuns) I noticed that I had less knee and back pains. However, I did ultimately lightly sprain my ankle. It's complicated. Although, minimalist shoes are corrective, when you've ran all your life on support shoes, your body adapts to the support, and if you switch too quickly and run hard on minimalist shoes, you can get injured as I did. So if you plan on switching, I would suggest switching slowly. I like Skechers because they're cheap, light, yet quality shoes. The reason they can under-sell the competition is because they're less known and new to the scene. The Skecher's performance running line up is a bit complicated so I'd ask a clerk for help. The original semi-minimalist was GoRun which had an odd hump in the middle to make you land mid-strike instead of on your heel, but I think it's a bit unnatural and stresses some foot tendons. Then there was GoRun 2 with a less pronounced hump and GoBionic with no hump and a true minimalist shoe, but now I've lost track. They have GoMeb named after the dude who won the Boston Marathon recently with their shoes. I imagine Skecher sales have skyrocketed now. I currently have the GoRun Ultra which oddly has a lot of padding, but the important thing for me is that it's light and flexible. Part of the problem besides a big heel is an inflexible shoe. And yes, I finished the marathon but with other shoes, because of that light ankle sprain which caused me to switch to a shoe with more support and arch support. The GoRun Ultra works for me with an arch support. It's not minimalist but I think since I spent most of my life with support shoes, maybe I may never truly adapt to minimalist shoes. As for the store, it has limited selection being an outlet store, sometimes lower prices (my GoRun Ultras were the same price online, but this store offers half price on your second pair of shoes which didn't make sense to me, because I'm thinking, if I don't like the shoe I'm buying, why would i buy two, you can't refund them here.) I guess I could have bought a different pair of shoes. Skechers has become rather stylist in the non-performance category as well attracting a lot of fashion casual shoe wearers. The good thing about SKechers is that it's not associated with all the big NBA basketball stars with their stupid $200+ shoes bankrupting poor kids. It's an honest company with affordable quality products. They were once sued about false claims for their old shape up shoes and recently a minimalist shoe company was also sued for false claims that minimalist shoes are better for you. As I noted above, if you're a kid and grow up with minimalist shoes, they are better for you, and you'll be a faster runner. But like me, if you've spent most of your life with support shoes, minimalist shoes may not be better and may cause injuries is switching too fast and hard. read more

Finding the shoes I wanted was easy. The staff (which was this blond woman working on Wednesday May 22, 2013 @ 11am) was rude, arrogant and very unfriendly. SERIOUSLY??? the store was empty with only 1 other customer who was only browzing. Legends Outlet is a dead zone. Barely any customers in the stores. You would think, getting a customer who was actually buying shoes for $100+ would put you in a friendlier mood. Customer service SUCKS big time!!! read more

My family of 5 has been shopping here since they opened. We have always had a great experience until this time. The store was messy and unorganized, the group of high school employees were just hanging out in the front and didn't ask if we needed help. I wasn't impressed at all. I found a pair of shoes I wanted but they didn't have my size so I asked if they could call the other two stores to see if they had them. The girl just rolled her eyes at me like I was such an inconvenience. I mean she was just standing there not doing anything anyway. I told her not to worry about it. I ended up not getting anything but my hubby and girls did. The customer service was so bad I'm going to give it one more shot, if it still sucks next time I'll just go to the Regular sketchers store. I mean the $5 you save is not worth bad service. read more
