Are there any Sketchers that are not outlets? I guess there are, but unlike most outlet stores, Sketchers can be found at strip (non-outlet) malls as well. This location in Chicagoland, had a smaller inventory than I've seen and had the typical 50% off the 2nd pair offer. The store was decently stocked, with a full clearance section racks in the back. Nothing jumped out value wise to justify lugging shoes back home, but certainly was worth the time to check it out. read more

Everyone in my family loves Skechers shoes. This is the closet store to our house but we will drive out of the area to get shoes at another outlet. The selection of sizes is inadequate in the larger sizes. But if I could give zero stars for service I would. The staff has absolutely no interest in helping their customers. The past few times I have been there, the staff stays up at the front talking and laughing and ignore you even when you walk up and ask for it. They don't try to help you find alternatives if they don't have something. They don't try other stores. They roll their eyes. If you complain they say they don't line your attitude. I spent 40 years in sales. The customer may not always be right but the customer is the customer. I will fight the temptation of shopping here for the convenience and go to Downers Grove instead. Service is 1000 times better. read more

I visited Skechers around 2 o'clock on 1-28-20. The store was empty with no customers, no signs of life at first, as I headed towards the men's shoes I see two employees stacking shoes in this area. Neither employee acknowledged my presence as I shopped for shoes no one approached me to ask me if I needed help never even looked my way. However, five minutes later another customer entered the store (white lady) The employees yell out hello welcome can we help you ! I like the shoes I selected so I went ahead to purchase them. As the young lady was checking me out I asked her is it against company policy for you guys to come over and assist a customer. With a shameful look on her face she said no. I went on to say I could understand if the store was busy but it wasn't you were just stacking shoes near me and choose to ignore me, (Poor customer service) read more

I love sketchers so many selections to choose from entire store is full is shoes so many styles colors etc I can stay in here forever I love sketchers Plenty of parking huge parking lot not sure about the area we were visiting from another state. I saw a few police cars scanning the parking lot not sure why but it didn't bother me since I'm not from the area I felt maybe it might be a bad neighborhood? I like skechers for my daughter since they are cheap and she grows so quickly. Have had mixed experiences at this store. Sometimes staff is friendly, but sometimes the shoes are a mess (esp. by sales racks) and the sale associates can't even answer a straightforward question. Overall a fine place. The selection is huge here, everything from sandals, to sporty, to work, and more dressy. I didn't think the prices were anything spectacular here- most were still over $40-50. I feel like they try to use brightly colored stickers on the boxes to get you excited. I was a little put off by the clearance section too. Yes, you can get shoes 30-70% off, but they take away the bright discount stickers, and the discount seems to be off the shoes' full price, which didn't seem like much of a deal! This is just my observation on the situation, but I didn't notice a single pink or orange sticker on these shoes, as compared to the regular floor stock. I don't think I'd bother coming back. I purchased some low quarter casual shoes from this outlet. A month later the top of the right shoe completely failed. I like Skechers and went back to the store selected another pair. Upon paying I presented the defective shoes. I was asked if I wanted a refund. I said I did not, I just thought someone at Skechers would want to see the shoes for quality control reasons. He understood, then a voice said to "change him out." It was the manager who had overheard the conversation I was having with the cashier. Here i am with month old and worn daily shoes and no receipt getting a free replacement. I have heavily worn the replacements for about 4 months now and they are as good as new. I felt that was extraordinary service and worth a good hard public YELPING. read more

This was my first time in the store, and though the selection is great, the staff was completely not attentive to the customers. Two female employees were far too busy messing around with a popcorn machine. All the most popular sizes (6.5-7.5) were on the top shelf, where customers can't reach them. After they finished with the pointless popcorn machine, they virtually disappeared and no one was on the floor to retrieve sizes. So I left. Forget that. This store is huge and they have good sales on shoes for children + they hace the buy one get one half off even on sales and clearance... Stop by because it was on my way home and I needed to my some sandals for my kids... The place was very clean and well organized, but there was no one to greet me, when I was ready to pay I had go and get someone from the back of the store. I've been back and fourth about Sketchers until recently. They have really stepped up their game. I love this store; large selection for men, women, and kids. All sorts of different style shoes. I would highly recommend coming here if you need a quick pair of nice, comfortable, and definitely affordable shoes. read more

The store over all is great^_^ The staff is friendly and polite. This was just based off an experience. My bf had a return because the guy at the check out didn't checked if they had the correct shoe in the box. As a result we got two right shoes. Whatever the next day we think all that's going to happen is get the left side and that's it! Nope! Turns out the wrong style was also in the box! Then it leads to a confusing procedure and one of the managers asks for the other box, which we didn't have!? Why did we need the other box if weren't returning the other pair? Whatever I think she was just confused and thought we were exchanging both pairs but we weren't. Then! Turns out the pair we got were cheaper so we were getting 11 bucks back which couldn't go back in the card because we payed with stupid Apple Pay and for some reason it gave us 4 different ending card numbers!?that was weird. Now I work in retail and I know it could have easily gone back to the card we payed with. We even showed her the bank statement on our phone but she didn't put it back in the card because of "their systems" again I work in retail that's just what we say. The sales people are great and very nice and helpful. My reasoning for the 3 stars is it is so dang hot in the store!!!! Seriously I'm in there 5 minutes and I'm sweating, even with taking off my coat, gloves etc. I don't know how the employees handle working there. I wonder how much money they are losing because people don't want to be in there longer than they need to be. I know I would shop longer, which would likely turn to me buying more. I go for what I'm looking for and I get the heck out of there as soon as possible. I had to return an item and just standing there, I was wanting to tear off my coat.
