Now my poor baby has had to have his front teeth removed. I brought him to that office 5 times in that year (paying almost $200 every time) begging for them to help him and they refused and said they couldn't do anything in the office and he needed to be put to sleep at the hospital. My visits were always made easier by their kindness, patience, and gentleness. Luckily at the time, I was working and had good insurance, so no worries. At one point, I found myself without dental coverage and used their practice financial program. The price was reasonable for two cleanings/year and discounted interventions. Well this year I was able to purchase insurance off the marketplace and was assured verbally and online that Denzinger took the insurance. However, when I tried to use it I was told "we haven't taken that insurance in six months". Ok well someone screwed up, nothing I could do as I was told repeatedly by the receptionist and office manager. (And it "wasn't their fault") I asked what the cash pay price would be and was told "since you have periodontal disease" it would be $175.00 for a cleaning. The problem being I have NEVER been told I have periodontal disease. I've always been congratulated on the good condition of my teeth and gums. The point of this review is a dental practice can have outstanding hygienists and doctors however it's still run by the business office! So if you have good dental insurance or a pocket full of cash you're just the patient they want. Longevity and dedication do not matter. I would have purchased their practice financial plan but that went up by $300.00. Just too much about money and not enough about caring.
