In every step of the process, Nassau Roofers were extremely professional. No drama. No scare tactics. And their price was very fair. Spencer showed up to do the estimate. He explained everything very clearly. Straight forward and professional. Nelson and team showed up early 3 days later and finished the job quickly and cleaned up well. Part of the roof was covered in snow and these guys efficiently cleared everything away and even shared pictures and video afterwards. Megan and Brian are 2nd generation owners taking over from their father. The company has been around for 48 years. The work comes with a 12 year guarantee. It makes us feel good we are dealing with a company with legacy and will be around to take care of issues. We are very happy we picked Nassau Roofers.

I didn't have to be home they would come and take care of it the next year. I heard something else in my attic they came with a drone found the whole immediately on the other side of the house and promptly fixed it. I couldn't be more thrilled at how quickly they responded to my small job versus the big jobs that they're used to getting. I appreciate that they took my nervousness about having these creatures in my attic. Seriously I thanked them 100 times.

    ## **Detailed Review of Royal Renovators (Experience from ~2023) **…read more My experience with Royal Renovators in 2023 was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and ultimately costly. I normally don't leave reviews, but the level of incompetence and deception I encountered deserves to be shared so others can avoid the same situation. ### **1. Repeated Misdiagnoses and Unnecessary Charges** We originally contacted Royal Renovators because our roof was leaking. They came out twice and still couldn't identify the source of the problem. Each visit came with new explanations and new charges, none of which made sense in hindsight. Eventually, they claimed they had finally found the issue and charged us approximately **$4,800** for the repair. We trusted their assessment and paid, hoping the leak would finally be resolved. ### **2. Leak Still Present -- and More Confusion** The next time it rained, the leak was still there. Same spot, same issue. When we called them back, they used a drone to inspect the roof but still couldn't figure out what was wrong. Their uncertainty was alarming. We ended up using **our own drone**, and we were the ones who actually located the problem area. When we pointed it out to them, they insisted the leak was coming from the chimney area -- which was completely incorrect. At that point, it was obvious they were guessing, not diagnosing. ### **3. The Skylight Disaster** While they were assessing the roof leak, we made the mistake of agreeing to have a skylight installed at the same time. That turned out to be another huge error. The skylight they installed looks like a **DIY project**, not professional work. It has a **constant draft**, and when the weather gets cold, the draft is unbearable. It's clear they had no idea what they were doing, and the workmanship reflects that. Instead of adding value to our home, the skylight became another problem we had to live with. ### **4. Lack of Professionalism and Skill** Between the misdiagnosed leak, the sloppy skylight installation, and the inconsistent explanations, it became clear that the workers and foremen lacked the knowledge and professionalism expected from a roofing company. Their priority seemed to be collecting payments, not fixing the actual issues. ### **5. A Competent Company Fixed Everything** We finally decided to get a second opinion and found **2BQ Roofing**. The difference was immediate. They assessed the roof and instantly identified the real issue -- something Royal Renovators failed to do after multiple visits and thousands of dollars. 2BQ Roofing fixed the problem correctly, and here we are **three years later with not a single drop of water**. That alone speaks volumes. ### **6. Final Thoughts** I would never recommend Royal Renovators to anyone. Their service was unprofessional, their workers were incompetent, and their repeated misdiagnoses cost us time, stress, and money. The skylight installation was just the final confirmation that they were not capable of doing the job. If you're looking for a roofing company that actually knows what they're doing, skip Royal Renovators entirely. Our experience with them was a complete waste, and the only real solution came from hiring a different company.

reply You must have me confused with someone else. I knew…read moreit was a repair job when I called, I was told no problem we will come out. Nothing about a guarantee or I wouldn't have hired you. You came out and said It looks like they didn't put flashing where it was leaking. You said $150 and I'll take care of it. Fix did not work, I called and was told it's too cold we will get to it in the spring 2025, I said OK, that was November 2024. I called in the middle February 2025 to remind you, and I was told you are first on the list. I called again middle of March and was told we will get to you. I called again end of April and finally a date May 1 was set for you to come out. So, if you think taking 2 1/2 months to finally come out is service, that's just horrible. I bet you ran right out when new business came up. But you had my money, so you just strung me along. It rained over the weekend after you came out and the roof leaked. I called back on a Monday and was told you would come by the end of the week May 8 or 9. The weather was sunny on those days, but nobody showed up. I called back again on the May 19 and was told we will get to you. How is that taking care of your customers. And to clarify you came out TWICE to fix the roof. Once in November 2024 and once in May 2025. So am I supposed to just wait another 2 1/2 months for you to show up. You wouldn't give me date when you would come back out. I bet you ran right out when new business came up. But you had my money, so you just strung me along. All I wanted was my roof fixed and all you wanted was new money.
